Frank Lynn Health Update
Following the events of International Assault, WFWF.COM can now confirm that Frank Lynn suffered multiple injuries including but not limited to multiple lacerations to his head and shoulders requiring dozens of stitches, several bruised ribs, and a concussion. The WFWF doctors will not clear him for physical contact until he clears the concussion protocol.
When asked for comment, Frank’s agent, Scott Sanderson made the following statement:
This is very much a case of is the glass half full or half empty. Frank had a fantastic showing in the gauntlet defeating three opponents giving irrefutable proof that he truly deserves to be the number one contender to any of David Brennan’s titles. It’s a major disappointment for Frank and the fans that Brennan versus Lynn didn’t get to happen in the gauntlet thanks to the heinous attack perpetrated by Phillip Schneider.
All of us in the Frank Lynn camp congratulate David Brennan on his successful title defense and wish him luck in the future, particularly against Michael Kyzer. Keep on winning David because WHEN Frank wins his first WFWF championship gold, he wants to take it from you. It will have to wait until after Frank deals with Trace Demon and Phillip Schneider. But it WILL happen and when it does we will all find out who is the real Boston bad boy.
For the time being, Frank is out of action until he can pass the concussion tests administered by the WFWF medical staff. I can confirm that Frank will not be wrestling at the next show.
He WILL be there for the contract signing for his huge match with Trace Demon which Frank wants to happen as soon as he is medically cleared. Now, more than ever, Frank believes the revolution must win ASAP.
We ask that Lila Sleater take all steps necessary to ensure that there are no physical altercations during the contract signing. She says that the health and well being of all WFWF superstars is a primary concern. We ask her to prove it. Let Frank come to the ring, sign the contract, and leave the ring without being assaulted by the likes of Ante Whitner, Phillip Schneider, or Trace Demon and his baseball bat.
In closing, this is a minor delay in the continued ascent to greatness for Frank Lynn. He will be back better than ever and kicking ass like the lethal weapon that he is.
When asked for comments, Lila Sleater was very concise.
Just show up and sign the contract. Leave the rest to me. You don’t have my job yet.
In a related side story, Frank Lynn’s manager Daphne Velasquez suffered an injury to her neck as a result of Ante Whitner pile driving her outside of the ring. The severity is as of now unknown. She is in a Boston medical facility undergoing further tests. Obviously unable to compete for Legacy Professional Wrestling for the time being, she has been stripped of her Legacy Women’s Championship. She has stated that she will continue to serve as Frank Lynn’s manager even if she has to show up in a neck brace and wheel chair.
