David Brennan's Contract Renewed Through 2021LOS ANGELES - In an entirely unanticipated announcement out of WFWF Headquarters, head booker Lila Sleater announced today that the company has come to an agreement with current WFWF World Heavyweight and International Champion David Brennan, inking a negotiated contract extension that will see Brennan remain part of the active roster for the next four years. "Mr. Brennan has shown, in recent weeks, a degree of change in his overall approach that is demonstrative of a renewed sense of place and purpose here in the WFWF" Sleater said during today's presser. "His willingness to exhibit a certain modicum of cooperation displays a marked change in attitude that management felt warranted a degree of recognition. Given the current depth of our active roster, and the uncertainty of the status of a number of notable names going forward, it was agreed to be in the best interest of all parties to ensure that our current champion would be around to lead the charge as the WFWF continues to adapt to the changing environment."Details of Brennan's new contract, save for the duration, were kept relatively tight lipped as of press time. True to his private nature, Brennan himself was not present during today's press event, and could not be reached for comment at this time. Keep with WFWF.com throughout the day for more out of Ms. Sleater's meeting with the press!
