“Champions are not those that merely win the gold…..” We see a flash of Joe Bishop celebrating after his exhausting Supreme Gauntlet 17! finals match.“Champions are those that defend that prize and elevate all of those who oppose them….” David Brennan now hooks the leg of Bishop for the 3 count.“In this game….” Actually f*ck it. Circumstance has led us to an entire card’s worth of matches being decided by no shows, so with that in mind…..
BOOM. POW. KABLOOEY!
Pyro explodes from the WFWF stage, because we’re not cheapskates, and the camera pans around the sold out BC Place in Vancouver.Alecia Matthews: Welcome folks to the final stop on our Canadian tour, and my oh my what a card we have for you this evening. Daniel Knight: We finally get the rematch everyone has been clamouring for as the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship is defended by Joe Bishop against the current International Champion David Brennan. Alecia Matthews: A blood feud comes to a head as Frank Lynn steps into the ring with no one’s favourite Ahriman, Anna Ahriman. Daniel Knight: And we get a look at the future of the WFWF as Danny Young and Sean Casey go one on one. Alecia Matthews: But before we get into all of that we have the shocking return of a man determined to silence the WFWF’s resident villain Trace Demon. “Southtown” by The Ghost Inside begins to play as the arena lights dim. The Canadian fans boo the sh*t out of Devilkiller, as he appears in a trench coat down to his ankles with a hood over his head. The tall giant walks down the ramp with excitement, pumped up, with an eerie, almost lonely orange light that barely illuminates the arena circling him.Alecia Matthews: I think it’s safe to say the Canadian fans are all f*cked in the head. Daniel Knight: Yeah, I’m trying to think of a reason to be so pro-Trace, but the only link is he’s Canadian. Is that enough to overlook all the sh*t he gets up to? Christa Adina: Ladies & gentlemen the following match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from New Jersey, weighing in tonight at 257lbs, he is a former WFWF National Champion, Deviiiiiiiilkiller! Devilkiller stops halfway down the ramp looking confused. Clearly he returned expecting a hero’s welcome against the King of Demons but alas, he’s north of the border. He scans the audience and then BANG! Trace Demon blows out Devilkiller’s knee with his new favourite toy, the same black baseball bat he used on Future a few weeks ago.Daniel Knight: Jesus! Alecia Matthews: And of course, these fans are cheering. What is wrong with these people? Devilkiller’s leg folds up and he tumbles forwards, supporting himself on the guard wall as he grits his teeth. Trace spins the bat in his hand then steps up to the plate, blasting the other knee. This time Devilkiller falls flat on his face and the ring side officials rush to get in between the two men. Trace is more than willing to back off and he does so with his hands held up and a smile on his face. He backs up the ramp, holding he bat aloft, nodding and grinning as the fans continue to cheer him on.Alecia Matthews: What in the hell is wrong with that d-bag? The two men never so much as stepped foot in the ring and this thing is already over. There’s no way in hell that Devilkiller is coming back from that, hell he might be back on the shelf with a severe injury having only been back in the WFWF for all of about 90 seconds. Trace Demon is a cancer. Trace finally bows to the crowd before strolling backstage as a team of medics tends to the felled Devillkiller’s legs.Daniel Knight: Erm, I suppose we should go straight to commercial?

As we return from our commercial break, The Dog That Eats Hamburgers is in the ring, throwing t-shirts and other merchandise to the crowd.Daniel Knight: It’s good that he’s found something productive to do, considering his wrestling career has fizzled. The Dog winds up and flings a t-shirt towards the fifth row, caught by a young woman in glasses. He’s completely messing around now, throwing a packaged beach ball in such a way that it landed in the entrance way rather than the crowd. Alecia Matthews: He’s really not very good at this either. It’s like he’s not paying attention to what’s going on at all. Suddenly, The Dog doesn’t have an option to see what’s going on. The lights go out. And a familiar riff plays over the arena speakers. It’s “Shadows” by Yelawolf. The entrance begins to flash with lights and as the song begins to play, Phillip Schneider makes his way through the curtain in black dress pants and a sleeveless Toxic Avenger t-shirt. He’s carrying the barbed wire baseball bat that he brought out last week, still stained with the blood of Ante Whitner. Daniel Knight: Phillip Schneider has seen enough of this dog show and if the Dog had half a brain, he’d exit stage left. Schneider makes his way to the ring with a menacing stomp, sliding into the ring under the bottom rope. The Dog that Eats Cheeburgers tries to get himself out of the harm that’s coming his way by extending a Trace Demon t-shirt to Schneider. Schneider bats it away to the ground. Next, the Dog reaches behind, pulling a floppy Frank Lynn fishing hat out of his bag and actually placing it on Schneider’s head. This proves to be a mistake. Schneider winds up and blasts The Dog that Eats Cheeseburgers in the stomach with the barbed wire baseball bat. The Dog crumbles. Schneider takes another hard swat with the bat to the back of the prone Dog. Schneider drops his bat and reaches into his back pocket, producing the dreaded sickle from last week. Alecia Matthews: It was nice knowing The Dog that Eats Cheeseburgers. Schneider grabs one of the big floppy ears of The Dog that Eats Cheeseburgers, slicing it right off of his head. In a mocking sort of way, Schneider throws the ear into the crowd the same way The Dog was previously throwing merchandise into the crowd. Daniel Knight: I got a shirt, I got a hat. I got an ear. Alecia Matthews: It's not every show that body parts are thrown into the crowd. Daniel Knight: You haven’t seen as many Phillip Schneider matches as I have. Schneider grabs The Dog by the mask again, this time slicing across the neck of the mask with his sickle. Stuffing falls out rather than blood, Schneider using brute force to rip the mask the rest of the way from the costume revealing, …. A guy. Daniel Knight: Wouldn’t you know, it was the janitor all along! Alecia Matthews: There’s no time for your Scooby Doo nonsense, this young man may be seriously hurt. With the man’s actual face exposed, Schneider digs the blade of the sickle deep into the flesh of The Dog that Eats Cheeseburger. Crimson flows down the face of The Dog that Eats Cheeseburgers, puddling on the mat below. Schneider removes the blade from The Dog’s face, taking a stabbing slice at Dog’s back, slicing a giant hole in the back of the costume. Daniel Knight: This is more than likely the last time we’re seeing The Dog that Eats Cheeseburgers. Schneider luckily drops the sickle. Unluckily, he reaches into his pocket, producing a small yellow bottle. Schneider pops the top on it and begins spraying the dog down with a suspicious liquid. Alecia Matthews: Oh my God, do you smell that? That’s lighter fluid. He’s spraying The Dog that Eats Cheeseburgers with lighter fluid! Dog does his best to cover up, then rolls out of the ring. Schneider gives chase, continuing to saturate The Dog in more lighter fluid, head to toe. The Dog trips over his own toe feet as he’s scrambling to get away from the lighter fluid wielding maniac. Schneider gets very close to Dog, flicking a zippo lighter and sending The Dog that Eats Cheeseburgers up in flames. Dog scrambles to his feet, running in fear as flames dance off of his body. Schneider casually walks away back to the ring, the camera keeping with Dog, who runs off of the stage, where stage attendants spray him down with fire extinguishers. Schneider has the microphone in ring. Phillip Schneider: Ante Whitner, you want to play with fire? You’re gonna get burned. You saw that last week, up and close. You want to end up like that joke that took off running, keep f*cking with me. You want to live to fight another day? Respectfully bow out, walk away. Never show your face around the WFWF again, because as far as I can see, you’re a dead man walking. You’re walking on hot coals, and you’re approaching the seventh circle of hell. I hope you enjoy your stay, I’m Satan himself. Here in this purgatory, you will burn. Repent, Ante. Abruptly, Schneider drops the microphone, rolling out of the ring as the wafting smell of burnt fabric, scorched hair, and singed flesh permeates the arena.Alecia Matthews: I think I'm going to have to mentally block out what I've just seen. Can we.....can we just move on? Daniel Knight: Up next is a match I’m really looking forward to: Frank Lynn versus Anna Ahriman. Alecia Matthews: You and me both. These two are the stars of the future looking to make an impact right now. The winner of this match will be in good position to claim a shot at a title soon. Daniel Knight: As if that isn’t enough, Anna has been talking a lot of trash about Frank and that is not sitting well with the “lethal weapon”. The house lights fade as Christa Adina steps into the ring.
The arena goes black. A bank of fog covers the entrance stage. The first psychedelic guitar screams of “Anthem of the Space” echo throughout the arena. As the fog lifts from the stage, the fans are surprised to see Acid Mothers Temple playing the song.Alecia Matthews: Frank has pulled out all the stops tonight! He flew in cult rockers Acid Mothers Temple to play him to the ring live. This is a real treat for our musically inclined fans. Daniel Knight: Are you sure about that? Sounds like a lot of noise to me. Alecia Matthews: Not surprising coming from someone whose playlist is all boy bands and Taylor Swift. Shut your mouth, open your ears, and enjoy this. The band continues to play, tearing into the song with an energy no recorded music can match. A hole opens in the entrance stage, highlighted by a bright spotlight and rising from below on a lift are Frank Lynn and his manager, Daphne Velasquez. As they come fully into view, multiple spotlights of different colors split off from the bright white light and zoom around the arena while the band plays on.
Frank and Daphne walk from one end of the stage to the other and back again, stopping to urge the band to play louder and the fans to cheer. Apparently satisfied that everyone is properly pumped up, Frank and Daphne make a slow purposeful walk to the ring, the spotlight following each of their steps as it cycles through the colors of the spectrum.
They get to the ring, walking completely around it. Frank lets Daphne walk up the steps first and she enters the ring. She holds the ropes for Frank who steps into the ring and stands in the center with his arms spread. The single white spotlight suddenly splits into many different colored spotlights which zoom out from them and dance around the crowd as the house lights come up and the band makes one final thunderous guitar riff to end the song. As Frank is announced, Daphne removes his coat, carefully folds it up, and hands it to a staffer at ringside.Christa Adina: Ladies and Gentlemen, now entering the ring from Boston, Massachusetts standing at 6’ 2” and weighing 232 lbs... the Lethal Weapon… Frank Lynnnnnn! Once again, the house lights fade to black as the band is scurried off stage. Four druids walk onto the stage, the ominous chanting of Carmina Burana playing over the PA as they march to their spots, two on either side of the entrance. A giant 25 foot tall hologram of Samael Ahriman comes into being in the center of the stage, at first just standing there, then as the chant picks up in intensity the hologram Samael draws his sword and starts a martial arts routine.
The crowds oohs and ahs at the high tech imagery. Frank Lynn and his manager Daphne stand in the ring far less amused by the gaudy show of his opponent’s heritage.
As the chant reaches a crescendo the hologram Samael finishes the routine taking a knee to bow to the crowd and stabbing the sword into the stage triggering a massive pyro display.
The hologram and the smoke from the pyro fades revealing Anna Ahriman in the same position, holding a kendo stick instead of sword but in every other way the perfect duplicate of the hologram. ”My Leftovers” by Porcelain and the Tramps plays over the PA system. Anna stands up and reprises the martial arts routine as the four monks doff their robes to reveal four samurais who mimic Anna’s movements.
It is an impressive display of synchronized sword work that gets a cheer from the crowd. Frank and Daphne are looking on in awe as well, but in awe at the hubris of the younger Ahriman for her over the top display that is delaying the match.
Anna and her samurai sidekicks finish the routine. Anna marches to the ring flanked on either side by two of the samurai. Anna makes her way up the ring steps into the ring while the samurai go to the four corners on the floor.Christa Adina: His opponent, now entering the ring, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by way of Ira, Vermont… standing at 5’ 6” and weighing 128 lbs... She is Anna Ahrimaaannn! Anna does an abbreviated version of the martial arts display in the ring that is matched by the four samurai on the floor. Daphne can be clearly heard making derisive comments in rapid fire Spanish. Frank looks on in disgust, cracking his knuckles and neck as he prepares for the match. Anna ends her kendo stick twirling routine in a fighting stance, the kendo stick aimed squarely at Frank and Daphne.Alecia Matthews: Frank doesn’t look happy at Anna’s entrance. Perhaps it was a bit much? Daniel Knight: It was an entrance befitting the daughter of a legend. Alecia Matthews: She’s going to have to wrestle like her legendary father if she wants to win tonight. Frank is far and away the bigger, stronger wrestler in this match. Daniel Knight: But Anna has speed on her side and I’m sure she has learned a lot of tricks growing up surrounded by WFWF wrestlers… tricks that Frank did not learn while he was an MMA fighter in the Guerrilla Fighting League. Alecia Matthews: Uh oh. Something is going on in the ring between Anna and Frank’s manager. There’s no love lost between those two. In the ring, the referee is pinned between Anna and Daphne who are shouting at each other furiously. Each woman has a hand on Anna’s kendo stick and are playing tug of war with it while the referee tries to break them apart. Frank is leaning against a corner of the ring with his head in his hands, clearly frustrated with this distraction preventing the match from getting started.
Frank watches until he can’t take it anymore, tired of Anna shouting about the skirt who shouldn’t be there and Daphne shouting just as loud about the weapon this puta brought to the ring with her. Frank pulls the ref away from the two and whispers something into his ear. The ref nods in approval.
The ref wades back in between Anna and Daphne. He forces Anna to release her grip on the kendo stick. Anna protests but the ref points for her to go back to a neutral corner. He turns to Daphne and then swings his arm to point at the entrance ramp. Now Daphne protests loudly but the ref points to Frank and can be heard saying “It is his idea!”, then makes the motion for Daphne to leave taking the kendo stick with her.
A confused Daphne looks at Frank who shrugs at her and then asks her to leave. Reluctantly, Daphne exits the ring, smashing the kendo stick loudly against the ring steps several times before walking dejectedly up the ramp and backstage.
Frank points at Anna and asks her if she is ready. She better be because the ref signals for the bell and the match is under way.
DING DING DINGDaniel Knight: Interesting. I think Frank just sacrificed his manager to get Anna’s favorite weapon removed from ringside. Alecia Matthews: Not surprising. I’m sure he wants a clean match and I’m also sure he thinks he can win without Daphne at ringside. Daniel Knight: Daphne is usually a calming influence on Frank but when it comes to Anna Ahriman… well let’s just say Daphne is the one who needs calming. Frank and Anna start off with a collar and elbow tie up, Frank easily pushing Anna around the ring until backing her into a corner. The ref starts to count and Frank makes a clean break, even bowing gracefully to Anna as he bids her back to the center of the ring.
Another collar and elbow tie up ending with Anna backed into another corner followed by another clean break.Daniel Knight: Frank Lynn clearly establishing his strength advantage here. Frank beckons Anna for another lock up but she keeps her distance, circling the ring and looking for an opening. It comes when Frank charges her. Anna dropkicks Frank’s knee, then quickly grabs his leg, executes several spinning toe holds followed by an elbow to Frank’s knee.
Frank throws a wild punch at Anna which she evades giving Frank the room to scramble to his feet, massaging his knee while Anna circles him again. Frank backs away using the ropes to keep his balance but he can’t outrun Anna. She dives in behind him and takes the knee out with a chop block, then retreats before Frank can retaliate.Daniel Knight: Anna is being very smart, taking out Frank’s leg. Alecia Matthews: That’s showing experience beyond her years. By taking away Frank’s leg she removes a lot of his power base. She has a good strategy for starting off the match. Once again, Frank is moving around the outside of the ring using the rope for support while Anna prowls around him, making quick feints towards the leg she has been targeting so effectively.
Frank falls for a feint and Anna rushes forward, bouncing Frank off the ropes and rolling him into a Calf Slicer submission. The crowd is shocked by how the much smaller Anna has dominated the bigger Frank and now she has him in a painful submission hold.
Frank grimaces as Anna cranks the pressure. He is close enough to the ropes to grab them for a break but instead he twists around to grab Anna by her hair. Then he slams her face first into the mat breaking the hold and stunning Anna.Alecia Matthews: That was pure power right there. It was too early for Anna to go for a submission. Frank simply powered out of it and smashed her head into the mat. Daniel Knight: Before the match Frank said chivalry is dead. He meant it because he could have gone for a rope break but instead he dealt out some punishment to Anna. Frank gets up, dragging Anna up with him and slings her into the ropes. They run the ropes, Anna going low to avoid Frank once, then leapfrogging him to avoid him a second time. On the third trip, she jumps up and wraps her legs around Frank’s head, going for the Air Raid Siren. Frank wobbles on his weakened leg but keeps his balance and counters the move with a power bomb.
Frank makes a half hearted pin attempt but its obvious he doesn’t think Anna is ready to give up. She kicks out before the ref can even slap the mat once. As Anna tries to get up, Frank wraps his arm around her neck for a headlock and drives her back down. He cranks the hold and twists around so that all his body weight is on Anna’s neck and back. Anna writhes around on the mat trying to break the hold to no avail.Daniel Knight: Not the most exciting move either of these two will use but given Frank’s size and strength advantage it could be his most effective move. Alecia Matthews: You are right… for once. The longer Frank rides Anna like this, the more energy Anna has to use just to get a breath of air. She needs to come up with an escape soon or Frank will simply wear her out. As if hearing Alecia’s words, Anna pushes off with her legs and flips Frank onto his back. The ref sees Frank’s shoulders on the mat and starts to count… 1… 2… Frank rolls out of the pinning predicament, switching to a front headlock and standing up, dragging Anna to her feet as well. Then he lifts her up, drops her face first onto the mat and resumes with the headlock, spinning his body over Anna’s so that he once again has all his weight on Anna’s neck and back.
Frustration clearly showing on Anna’s face, she reaches behind her and tries to poke Frank in the eye. Frank avoids the eye poke but that loosens his grip enough that Anna can roll over close enough to get a foot on the ropes. The ref forces a break.Alecia Matthews: What the hell was that? Did Anna just try to poke Frank in the eye? Daniel Knight: She sure did. That was an act of pure desperation. Alecia Matthews: I wonder if her father taught her that trick. It wasn’t appreciated by Frank. It most definitely was not. Frank is scowling at Anna. He is moving much better on his leg now, the rest time he spent riding Anna in the headlock having been enough for his knee to recover. They’re circling each other while the crowd gets antsy, waiting for some real action. A low “Boring!” chant starts in the cheap seats.
Frank makes a disgusted look at the fans which gives Anna her opening. She bounces off the ropes and comes at Frank full speed, leaping up and hitting a high knee strike to Frank’s face. She moves in close to deliver several chops to his chest, each accompanied by a “Woooooo!” from the crowd. Then Anna grabs Frank and whips him into the ropes. On the return trip she leaps up and takes Frank down with a sling blade.
Instead of following up her offense, Anna backs away and lets Frank get back to his feet. Then she bounces off the ropes to hit another high knee. Frank wobbles but stays up and kicks Anna in the stomach. She doubles over and Frank moves around behind her, perhaps setting up for a German suplex but Anna is one step ahead of him. She suddenly leaps up and flips over hitting Frank with a Pele kick.Daniel Knight: This may be Anna’s best showing in a WFWF match. She is playing the hit and run tactics perfectly and Frank seems confused. Alecia Matthews: So far so good for her. She is living up to her name. Frank staggers from the blow while Anna runs the ropes again, coming back at Frank. Frank sidesteps but Anna adjusts and takes him down with a drop toe hold, Frank falling neck first onto the bottom rope and bouncing off to the center of the ring.
Anna steps over Frank, locking her legs with his, then grabs his arms and rocks back. She tries several times, the effort showing in her face but finally she gets enough momentum and rolls onto her back, stretching Frank out above her in a surfboard lock.
As Frank struggles with the hold, Anna release hold of his arms and quickly wraps him up in a headlock, stretching his back out even further. Frank makes an involuntary scream as Anna bends him in ways the body is not meant to bend.Daniel Knight: Anna won’t win the match with this hold, but she is once again working Frank’s body and taking away his power base. Alecia Matthews: I am very impressed with her showing so far tonight. She came ready to outwrestle the pure technical wrestler Frank claims to be. Having done enough punishment to Frank’s back, Anna rolls to her side releasing the leg locks but not the headlock. She gets to her feet and tries to suplex Frank but he blocks it. She tries again and is blocked again. She tries a third time, is blocked again and this time Frank counters with a suplex of his own.
Anna flies through the air and lands on her feet behind Frank! He turns to face Anna but she reacts quickly and hits the Triple A (codebreaker). The crowd roars at this sudden turn of events. Anna has dominated Frank in this match and they sense the end is near.
Anna covers Frank for the pin.

Frank kicks out! Not only does he kick out but he does so with authority, sending Anna into the air to land on the mat next to him. He quickly stands up and backs into a corner using the ring ropes for support. He looks at Anna with a newfound sense of respect, cracking his knuckles as if to say “time to get serious”.Daniel Knight: I think we can safely say that Frank underestimated his opponent. For all his talk that she hasn’t done anything to deserve her spot in the WFWF, she is the one making him look like the raw rookie. Alecia Matthews: But Frank just kicked out of Anna’s finisher, the Triple A. What else can she do to keep him down long enough to get the 1-2-3? Anna charges at Frank in the corner, driving a shoulder into Frank’s stomach. Anna follows up with a series of rapid fire kicks but Frank catches her leg. He drags her to the center of the ring and takes her down with a dragon screw leg whip.
Frank grabs Anna’s arm into a half chicken wing and drives his knee into her exposed shoulder several times. Anna grunts in pain with each vicious strike. Frank then lifts Anna to her feet and whips her into the ropes. Anna bounces back towards Frank and he takes her down with a brutal clothesline. Anna hops back up and Frank takes her down with another clothesline. Anna gets up again, slower this time. Frank bounces off the ropes and hits another clothesline that flips Anna 360 degrees so that she lands on her face.Alecia Matthews: Frank Lynn turned the tables on Anna with that leg whip. Now he has his chance to hit her with some brutal power moves. Daniel Knight: Anna was doing so well with her hit and run tactics but now, what chance does she have if she can’t run. Frank is too powerful. He’s tossing her around like a rag doll. Frank lifts Anna by her hair and wraps his arms around her from behind. He lifts her up and and over for a German suplex, maintaining his hold so that he can stand and hit another, then another that he finishes with a bridge for a pin attempt.

Somehow, Anna kicks out at the very last instant! The ref’s hand actually hits the mat for the three count but he quickly signals that Anna got her shoulder up in time. Some of the crowd boo what they thought was a pinfall while others cheer Anna’s kick out and others just cheer for what is turning into a great match.
Frank isn’t phased that Anna kicked out. He quickly resumes his offense, whipping Anna into the ropes while bouncing off the opposite ropes so they meet in the center of the ring both going full speed. He leaps into the air and takes Anna down with a sling blade, a move Anna had already used on him earlier in the match.Alecia Matthews: Frank has all the momentum now and he is not letting up. Daniel Knight: Anna put up a great fight but Frank is overpowering her. Anna is laying in the middle of the ring. Frank leaps onto the top turnbuckle, points to the rafters, and leaps off. He comes crashing down onto Anna hitting a beautiful five star frog splash with a ninety degree mid air turn. He hits Anna so hard he bounces back into the air and lands on his knees next to her. He moves to cover her but stops when he sees that Anna has rolled onto her side and is spitting up blood.
Instead of covering Anna, he goes to the ref and points at the blood. He can be heard asking the ref to check: did she bite her lip or tongue or is it something more serious, some kind of internal bleeding? Frank’s concern is shared by the crowd, who are used to seeing WFWF wrestlers bleed but usually from external cuts. Internal bleeding is serious business.
Frank’s concern turns into his downfall as Anna crawls over behind him and hits a low blow, her forearm making solid contact with his junk while Frank’s body blocks the ref from seeing anything. Then she wipes her mouth and everyone can clearly see that she cut her lip and that is where the blood came from.Alecia Matthews: What the hell?!?!? Anna used Frank’s concern over her health and hit him with a low blow! That’s… Daniel Knight: …smart thinking by Anna. She needed something dramatic to slow Frank down. That was just the ticket. Alecia Matthews: That was a cheap move not worthy of the daughter of Samael Ahriman! Daniel Knight: You do remember that Samael was the guy who brought a freakin’ sword to the ring, don’t you? Alecia Matthews: That’s true… Frank is clutching his crotch, leaning against the referee who is pinned between Frank and the ropes. Anna sees her opening and charges at Frank’s back hitting a clothesline that takes Frank, the ref, and her over the top rope to the floor.
The ref falls to the floor and clutches his head. He should call for some kind of DQ but his brain is currently scrambled so the match continues. Anna slings Frank into the ring steps with a resounding clang. She grabs Frank by what little hair he has on his head and smashes his forehead into the ring steps repeatedly.
Frank acts out of desperation, swinging a wild back elbow strike that Anna partially avoids. Frank tries to throw a haymaker but Anna backs away.
Anna jumps onto the ring apron and gets a running start attempting to punt kick Frank’s head right off his shoulders. Frank ducks the kick, then reaches out to grab Anna’s foot and dropping her onto the ring apron, her head bouncing like a basketball off the hardest part of the ring.Daniel Knight: Whoa! Anna was out for blood with that attempted kick. Alecia Matthews: I don’t know if it was skill or luck or instinct that allowed Frank to avoid it. If it had landed this match might be over. Frank spins Anna around so her head is hanging over the edge of the apron and backs a few steps away, winding up for a big boot to the side of Anna’s head that causes her to fall to the floor. Anna rolls around clutching her head. Spent by the effort, Frank leans against the ring apron to catch his breath. The match stalls as both wrestlers try to recover.Daniel Knight: Look! The ref has come back to his senses. He is starting a count. I hope Frank and Anna notice before we get a double count out. The ref is in the ring on his knees having counted to 5 already. Neither Frank nor Anna would have noticed if not for the crowd counting along. Frank glances at the ring then at Anna leaning against the security barrier.
The ref counts 6.
Frank goes for it, charging at Anna and hitting a flying forearm smash to her forehead that knocks her into the crowd.
The ref counts 7.
Frank makes his way towards the ring, sliding under the bottom rope as…
The ref counts 8.
Anna slowly stirs as the front row fans lift her up and urge her back towards the ring.
The ref counts 9.
Anna gets over the security barrier thanks to the helping fans (who may in fact may be copping a feel but lets give the fans the benefit of the doubt). She tries to get to the ring but falls to her knees and clutches her head again.
The ref counts 10.
Anna stumbles towards the announcers table for support. She eyes up a steel chair and reaches for it.
The ref counts 11, still rubbing his head and seemingly oblivious to Anna going for the chair.
Frank climbs to the top turnbuckle. Anna grabs the chair and turns towards the ring.
The ref counts 12 while urging Frank to get off the ropes and back into the ring.
Frank jumps off the turnbuckle towards Anna, hitting a double axe handle smash to her head. Anna simultaneously counters by jabbing the chair into his stomach. They both crumble to the floor.Alecia Matthews: What was Frank thinking? That was stupid. Daniel Knight: High risk doesn’t always lead to high reward. I don’t see how either one makes it back into the ring before the ref gets to twenty. The ref counts 13… 14… 15… 16… 17…
Frank and Anna make it to their feet and stare at each other.
The ref counts 18.
Not wanting to take a count out loss, Anna and Frank both dive into the ring as the ref counts 19. The crowd lets out a collective cheer as they want the fight to continue.Daneil Knight: That was too close but they both made it back into the ring and this match continues. Alecia Matthews: And what a great match it has been. Now on their knees face to face in the center of the ring, Frank and Anna exchange blows while the fans react. Every time Frank lands a blow they cheer and every time Anna responds the fans boo. This goes on for a minute or two until Anna ducks a strike from Frank and then smashes her forehead into his face, the crack of her skull meeting the bridge of Frank’s nose drawing oohs and ahs from the crowd.
Frank wobbles and is clearly dazed. Anna gets to her feet and takes a moment to get her bearings. She bounces off the ropes and runs at Frank attempting a Kinshasa but Frank blocks the knee strike with his arms. Anna runs the ropes again and comes at Frank from behind for another attempt at a Kinshasa but Frank jumps to his feet and counters with a scoop power slam, quickly going for a cover.

2…
Anna kicks out!Alecia Matthews: So close but Anna kicks out. Daniel Knight: She has inherited the Ahriman heart. This has been a great showing by Anna. Alecia Matthews: Frank Lynn’s not about to let up on her. He wants this win bad! Frank whips Anna into the ropes and picks her up into a fireman’s carry, possibly going for a Bangarang or Death valley Driver but Anna hits him with an elbow strike and wiggles around until she has Frank locked into crucifix. Frank falls to the mat but Anna holds on tight applying the Hail to the Queen submission.
Frank’s gets a foot on the ropes and the ref forces a break, which Anna waits until the ref gets to 4 before she obliges. Both wrestlers get to their feet quickly, having found a second wind or second gear or whatever cliche you want to describe it when an athlete reaches deep down for every last bit of energy.
The crowd is cheering louder than ever and a “This is wrestling!” chant breaks out.Alecia Matthews: There’s that chant again that makes Frank very happy to hear. Forget about the low blows, the eye pokes, and the foreign objects. He wants the fans to show their appreciation for pure skill in the ring. Daniel Knight: If you consider getting your foot on the rope to be skill, then yeah, this is wrestling revolution style. Alecia Matthews: It’s called ring awareness. The fans are enjoying it and nobody is committing any crimes so I’ll agree with the fans, this IS wrestling! Anna and Frank face off again. Anna tries to kick Frank in the gut but Frank catches her foot. He spins her around on one foot and when her back is towards him he pounces, locking in the Dasochoku!
A look of panic is on Anna’s face. She knows if Frank takes her to the mat and grapevines his legs around her then she is done. Frantically, she drives her legs and forces Frank back into the turnbuckles. Frank is momentarily stunned as the air is expelled from his lungs. Anna uses that moment to spin around and walk up the turnbuckles, flipping over Frank’s head and driving him into the mat with a Blockbuster type move.
Anna bounces up and off the second rope to drop a knee to Frank’s head, then picks him up and whips him into the corner. She goes to the opposite corner, gets a running start, and charges at Frank but whatever she had planned is interrupted as Frank steps towards her and drops her with an STO.
Frank checks Anna’s position, jumps onto the top turnbuckle and leaps off to hit a moonsault but Anna gets her knees up!Daniel Knight: Another high risk move that bites one of these two right in the ass! Alecia Matthews: They’re laying it all on the line and I think both believe only a big move is going to end this match. Frank is up and staggering around the ring. Anna climbs to the top turnbuckle and waits for her opportunity, the crowd in an almost hushed silence as they anticipate what this crazy chick will do next.Alecia Matthews: What is Anna thinking? Why take another high risk? Daniel Knight: Perhaps Anna feels that with her smaller size and strength, her only chance to finally put Frank down is to go for broke. Frank regains his senses and sees Anna poised on the top ropes. Anna sees her moment and jumps off the turnbuckle, going for a flying knee strike to the head.Frank reacts quickly, avoiding the knee and hitting Anna while she is still in the air with a superkick, the contact of foot to face sounding like a gunshot in the arena. She falls to the mat in a crumpled heap of limp arms and legs.
Frank smiles for the fans and shouts out: “And now for something completely different!”
Frank hoists Anna onto his shoulders in the electric chair position. He flips one of her legs behind his shoulder while reaching to grab her behind the neck. Then he drops down and flips her over, driving her head and neck into the mat with sickly thud.Alecia Matthews: ONE WINGED ANGEL! The frog splash didn’t work. The Dasochoku didn’t work. So he pulls off a move we’ve never seen before out of him! Daniel Knight: The superkick counter to the flying knee almost knocked Anna out. The One Winged Angel finished the job. Frank grabs Anna’s legs and holds her down for the pin.

DING DING DING
Frank quickly releases Anna from the pinning position, stands up and leans against the ropes in a corner while he referee raises his hand.Christa Adina: Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner of the match… the lethal weapon Frank Lynnnnnnnnnn! Daniel Knight: Frank Lynn defeats Anna Ahriman. He has to hope that was enough to stop her talking trash about him in the future. Alecia Matthews: Anna put up a good effort but resorting to tactics like low blows, eye gouging, and steel chairs isn’t going to sit well with the revolutionary Frank Lynn. That was not quite the clean pure match he wanted to have. Daniel Knight: He won. That should be enough. Frank exits the ring but slowly stalks around outside staring holes in Anna. The ref is still checking on her but she is sitting in the ring glaring at Frank.Frank Lynn: Nice try princess but you couldn’t beat me even with your cheating. Way to make the Ahriman name mean something! It means loser! Frank walks up the ramp as Anna tries to shout a response which is drowned out by the crowd cheering for Frank Lynn. Frank nonchalantly flips off Anna over his back, not bothering to spare her another glance as he exits behind the curtain.
Anna brushes off an offer of help from the ref and stalks up the ramp. Its hard to tell if she is pissed off at Frank or herself but their is no doubt she is very pissed off.Alecia Matthews: Judging from her reaction, Anna will be back to get a piece of Frank Lynn. Daniel Matthews: After the match we just witnessed, I hope Lila grants that request. A burst of static cuts the feed to the Pay Per View. It is replaced with a shot of a well used antique record player. It is seemingly sitting in the middle of a room with an old lightbulb hanging from a wire the only thing that illuminates it. There is an run down leather chair sitting in front of the record player facing it. From the shadow behind the player, a hand reaches over and drops the needle on the record. A twangy guitar echoes through the seemingly empty room, the record cracks and pops. It's Welcome To My Nightmare by Alice Cooper. The man in the shadows walks around the edge of the circle of light but it's clear the man is bigger than the average man. He sits in the chair. Welcome to my nightmare, I think you're gonna like it. I think you're gonna feel you belong.I've made a lot of money hurting people. The room begins to rotate around as though it was put on a turntable of its own. There are no windows to this room, no attachment to the outside world. It almost feels as if this room exists in it's own world. The man is sitting in the chair with both his hands on the arms of the chair. A nocturnal vacation, unneccesary sedation. You want to feel at home because you belong. But in my time I've learned that putting fear into the hearts of men and women around the world is a much more valuable currency. The room having made a 180 degree rotation, the outline of the mammoth of a man sitting in the chair is once again clear. Suddenly it feels like the walls start closing in as the man gets closer and closer. The sound from the record player starts to warp as though someone was heating up the vinyl record. Everything starts to get really claustrophobic until finally all that can be seen is the face of the man. It's the newly minted Motor City Nightmare, former WFWF National and International Champion Lucas Crowe. Welcome to my Nightmare, ohh ho ohh...I am Lucas Crowe... And next show, I'm bringing the nightmare to life. The song returns to its normal state as a graphic flashes on the screen that says "THIS NIGHTMARE LIVES! LUCAS CROWE RETURNS". Another burst of static later and we're returned to the regular feed of WFWF Pacific Rim.We see footage of Sean Casey and Danny Young being seperated from one another at various independent wrestling shows all over the world as the two men can’t help but feel heated at the presence of one another. We look back to the original comments made by Sean Casey, referring to Danny Young as a waste of time. We see Young on the independent wrestling circuit, showing a much more aggressive side to him. We cut to footage of Sean Casey destroying his locker room after his loss to Joe Bishop. We see footage of both men hitting their finishing moves, Sean Casey with the Call of The Void to plant his opponents for the three count as well as Danny Young completely cinching in the Sleeper Hold to choke his opponents out. Sean Casey can be seen lacing up his boots while we see Danny Young pushing his hair back over his head, both men looking up at roughly the same time as the footage fades to black and white. The last few tweets from their heated online conversation being shown before the footage fades to black. … … … The opening chords of “You Won’t Know” by Brand New let the crowd know of the Violent Gentleman’s imminent arrival. There are boos, murmurings and secluded cheers, filling the arena with nervous tension. As the chorus kicks in, Sean Casey emerges from the back, a black hoodie over his gear, zipped up to the neck, the hood covering his head and hanging to the middle of his nose. On the back, in white, reads simply, “Violence is my pleasure.” Sean cuts a medium pace to the ring, walks up the steps, wipes his boots on the apron and steps through the ropes. He unzips his hoodie and pushes the hood back and off of his head before removing the hoodie completely, tossing it over the top rope to the floor. He cracks his knuckles and neck, walking to the far corner and leaning his back against it as his music fades out. The opening drums and guitars of “The Unbreakable” by Have Heart fills the arena as the new theme song of ‘The Wrestler’ begins to play out. “HE WAS A KIND HEARTED MAN IN A HATE FILLED WORLD!”
“AND HE CAUGHT EVERYTHING THAT LIFE EVER HURLED!”
“LIKE THE OLDEST F*CKING MOUNTAIN HE ALWAYS STOOD SO TALL!”
“FOREVER SHOWING WHAT IT MEANS TO BE UNBREAKABLE!”Out from the backstage area marches ‘The Wrestler’ himself, his eyes focused on the ring, no pandering to the crowd as he walks straight down without a need to focus on anything else but the man stood in front of him. He circles the ring, his eyes on his ‘prey’ before he pauses once again by the entrance way. He takes an incredible vertical leap to the ring apron before throwing himself through the ropes, walking to Sean Casey but the referee gets between both men before anything can happen. He holds his arms wide open and screams the words of the song to Sean Casey. “OLD MAN TAKE A LOOK AT MY LIFE!”“I AM NOTHING LIKE YOU ARE!”He pulls his ring jacket off and throws it outside of the ring, backing up to his corner of the ring as the final words of the song ring out. “UNBREAKABLE!”Christa Adina: "The following contest is a singles match, scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, hailing from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He stands 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs in at 239 pounds. This is 'The Violent Gentleman'... Sean Casey!" Sean Casey waits in his corner, running his hands along the ropes to test them a little. Christa Adina: "And his opponent, hailing from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England by way of Osaka Prefecture, Japan. He stands 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs in at 246 pounds. This is 'The Wrestler'... Danny Young!" Danny pulls his mouth guard out of the waist of his trunks and puts it in, letting it cover his teeth before he nods his head. Christa Adina climbs out of the ring, not really wanting to be caught between these two beasts. The referee turns and calls for the bell, both men stare one another down, exchanging barbed words with one another before they charge in for the collar and elbow tie-up. After a battle of power, Danny Young backs Sean Casey up in to the ropes. The referee is looking for a clean break, but it’s blatantly obvious neither man wants it. Sean Casey shifts his position, forcing Danny Young up against the ropes. The two men attempt to push one another back a few steps but it seems like nobody is getting anywhere. The referee begins his five count but both men immediately break the hold and begin circling one another.Alecia Matthews: “Quite a surprise there from two men that seem to have problems with one another going in to this match.” Sean Casey shoots down low at Danny Young, attempting to take his legs but Danny Young sprawls out on top of him, making sure he’s not lifted. Young keeps Casey on the floor, trapping his arms around the waist before he takes him over with a Gator Roll. With the slightly dizzy Sean Casey not properly able to defend himself, Danny Young shifts himself over so he’s mounted on the back of his opponent. Sean Casey puts his hands up to defend himself but Danny Young begins firing shots low, striking the drink damaged liver with a quick punch. Casey shouts out in agony before showing some of his technical experience, rolling forwards and hooking the legs of Danny Young to bring him down on to his face.Daniel Knight: “Nice escape there from Sean Casey.” Sean Casey springs up to his feet at quite a decent pace for a man of his age and brings his leg down suddenly, striking the lower back of Danny Young with a vicious Stomp. Young cries out in pain, reaching forwards for the ropes but Sean Casey quickly takes hold of his arm, bending it so his elbow is pointed out and keeping it in place with his foot on the hand before he leaps up and brings his boot down on the point of Danny Young’s elbow. Young cries out in agony again, rolling away as Sean Casey takes a moment to consider his next move. Casey closes in on Danny Young who shows a quick burst of energy by taking the singlet of Casey and using it to pull him against the ropes. Danny Young curls up in to a ball behind Sean Casey, causing him to spill over him and roll through. Danny Young performs a quick log roll and brings his leg around from a grounded position, smashing his foot against the temple of Sean Casey.Alecia Matthews: “First he trips him up, then he kicks him in the head. What’s not to like about that kind of offence?” Young rolls backwards as a fast method to get to his feet while Sean Casey is dazed on his knees. He rushes against the ropes and comes back, smashing the rocked opponent with a vile Falling Forearm. He attempts a quick cover.1Sean Casey forces Danny Young off of him, holding on to his jaw in the process. Young gets back to a vertical base and rests against the ropes momentarily while Sean Casey begins to get back to his feet. Danny Young sprints towards him again, but Casey ducks the oncoming elbow strike. Danny Young hits the ropes and comes back to Sean Casey who hoists him up in the air, twists his body 180 degrees and plants Danny Young down with added force behind the Spinebuster. Young arches his back to try and lessen the pain but Sean Casey quickly snatches the legs of Danny Young, attempting to turn him over in to a boston crab. Young kicks one leg free but that just makes it a little easier for Sean Casey who turns him over and crouches down, taking him with the Single Leg Boston Crab. Young begins to reach out for the ropes but Sean Casey keeps his feet firmly planted. Young inches closer, clawing desperately but Sean Casey notices he’s getting closer and drags him back to the centre of the ring. Young screams out in pain which only causes Sean Casey to get a wicked grin across his face. Young presses himself up with the palms of his hands and begins crawling faster than before, finally reaching the ropes.Daniel Knight: “Young’s just wasted a lot of energy trying to get out of that there. Casey’s firmly in charge here tonight.” Sean Casey releases his hold but can’t stop himself from laying another stiff boot in to the lower back of Danny Young. That seems to not hurt Young, but only infuriate him as he gets straight to his feet and snatches Sean Casey by the hair on his head. He rears back and shoots his arm forwards, smashing his jaw with an elbow strike so loud they could hear it in the cheap seats. Sean Casey looks dazed, but his opponent doesn’t stop, taking him by the back of the head and bringing his arm up with enough force to decapitate him with the european uppercut. Sean Casey rears back from this, but comes straight back with a vicious Forearm Shot to the jaw of Danny Young. He leans back and shoots his leg out for a low kick, but Danny Young checks the kick, causing Sean Casey’s shin to take considerable damage. Before Casey can even take the time to process he’s hurt his shin, Young leaps up using all of the strength of his grounded leg before shooting it up to rock the jaw of Sean Casey.Alecia Matthews: “Wow! Neither of these men is going to be able to chew solid food after this match.” Sean Casey falls to one knee, completely stunned which leaves him open to Danny Young’s monster like strength. Young clutches him from behind, taking him in a waistlock before he powers him up in the air, holding him in place before bridging back and planting him with the delayed German Suplex. Young refuses to release his grip though, instead rolling through and getting Sean Casey back to a vertical base. He lets out an almost demonic shout before shifting his arms up and trapping Sean Casey in a full nelson, snapping backwards with the Dragon Suplex, but once again, he refuses to let go of the hold! He rolls through, keeping Sean Casey in the full nelson before he powers him up for a final time and drops to his back, pushing Casey forwards and in to the Dragon Lungblower, the fans cheering for the incredible series of moves.Daniel Knight: “What a move! A string of suplexes followed up by a move we’ve never seen before!” Alecia Matthews: “Forget us never seeing it before, I think that’s the first time that move’s been hit!” Danny Young takes hold of Sean Casey’s waist once again, this time rolling over so Sean Casey is pinned to the mat. He doesn’t pin him though, instead beginning to power him up in a wheelbarrow position. Sean Casey looks completely out of it, but it’s only a trick! Sean Casey has enough wherewithal to spin his body a little and take the head of Danny Young, bringing him down on the top of his head with the DDT. Young clutches the top of his head as Sean Casey begins to get back to a vertical base. Young gets to his hands and knees but Casey is straight on the attack, smashing the arm he’d been focusing on earlier with a vicious Penalty Kick. Young attempts to roll away but Sean Casey slams his boot down on the arm of Danny Young, keeping his arm firmly in place. Casey begins to bend down, taking hold of the wrist of Young who reaches desperately with his opposite arm to stop the onslaught. Sean Casey takes the wrist of Danny Young with both arms, keeping the rest of his arm flat with his foot before beginning to pull back on it, causing serious damage to his elbow! Young begins to shout in agony in response to the gruesome submission hold before he yanks his arm out from under the foot and throwing all of his momentum behind his legs, forcing Sean Casey down with the grounded Leg Sweep.Daniel Knight: “Young very lucky to escape there, Sean Casey was really ripping away at the arm.” Both men breathe heavily as they begin to crawl away from one another, both desperate to make it to the ropes. The first up is Sean Casey, pulling himself up while Danny Young struggles a little thanks to his arm. Sean Casey rushes in as Danny Young takes a quick swing to try and catch him, but Casey ducks, causing Young to spin around. Casey quickly throws his arms around the waist of Danny Young, attempting to throw him but Young takes hold of the top rope and refuses to let go. Sean Casey wrenches back, attempting to loosen Danny Young from the ropes but it’s not working. Young quickly shifts his body, causing Casey to spill through the top and middle ropes and crash out to the floor.1
2Danny Young waits, catching his breath while Sean Casey begins to stir.34Sean Casey reaches for the ring apron, taking hold of it to pull himself up a little.5Sean Casey gets to a vertical base outside of the ring as Danny Young sits against the middle rope on the other side of the ring, almost inviting him back inside.6Sean Casey climbs on to the ring apron carefully before climbing through the ropes. Both men begin to circle one another, a little slower this time before they close in. Danny Young throws his arm out at lightning speed, catching Sean Casey with an Open Hand Slap. He swings his other arm across, connecting once again before wincing in pain. Casey attempts to kick at Danny Young but Young checks the kick once again, causing more pain to the shin of Sean Casey who limps back in agony. Both men seem to be struggling to gain an inch on one another.Alecia Matthews: “They’re giving it their all here, both men are desperate to get the win here tonight.” Sean Casey shoots his other leg out, but is unable to keep the weight on his damaged leg and crumples to the floor. He points to his shin as the referee gets between both men to check on it, forcing Danny Young to back up. In the split second his back is turned, Sean Casey gets back to his feet and crushes Danny Young from behind with a Forearm Shot to the back of the head. Young drops to one knee, clutching his head as Casey takes hold of his hair and pulls it back. Casey begins delivering punches from behind, each one hammering Danny Young above his eye before eventually cutting it open! Daniel Knight: “And there we go!” Sean Casey refuses to stop, hammering even more blows in to the cut on Danny Young’s eyebrow before backing off when he thinks the blood flow is sufficient. The referee attempts to check up on Danny Young who pushes him away. He rolls underneath the bottom rope as the referee has no choice but to count.1

3Danny Young reaches underneath the ring apron, pulling out a small towel and a bottle of water.4He begins to wash the cut and soak up some of the blood with the towel. Sean Casey rolls underneath the bottom rope while Danny Young is distracted.1Danny Young finally wipes most of the blood away, but Sean Casey is closing on from behind.2Danny Young with almost spider-man like reflexes turns his body and shoots his arm out, clobbering Sean Casey with an elbow strike to the jaw.Alecia Matthews: “How did he figure that out?” Daniel Knight: “I guess he was paying attention to the referee’s count!” Sean Casey shoots his arm back to Danny Young, catching him with a Right Hook. He lunges in but Young ducks beneath him, taking him from behind and shoving him in to the ring post, causing him to smash in to it shoulder first.3Danny Young forces himself to roll underneath the bottom rope, trying to create a little bit of distance once again. Sean Casey clutches at his arm for a short while before shaking it a little.4Sean Casey climbs up the ring steps, trying to avoid unnecessary contact with his opponent.5Danny Young rushes in with a shoulder-barge attempt, but Sean Casey sidesteps and brings his boot up, catching Young in the chest with a powerful kick. Young spills, bent over through the ropes as Sean Casey seems to get a devilish idea in his mind.6Sean Casey takes Danny Young in a front facelock, looking left and right before positioning himself properly and grinning. The fans are unsure of what’s about to happen, but it’s clear it’s not going to be good for Danny Young. Casey grits his teeth and falls backwards, pulling Danny Young out of the ring and spiking him on the top of his head from a considerable height with the middle rope DDT to the outside!Alecia Matthews: “Oh god! Right on the top of his head!” Daniel Knight: “That’s almost inhumane! What a DDT from Sean Casey!” Casey holds the small of his back as Danny Young hasn’t moved a muscle from the landing. The referee climbs out of the ring to check on both men before Sean Casey pushes him away and gets to his feet, demanding the referee to count before he rolls under the bottom rope. The referee looks hesitant but climbs back in the ring and starts to count.1

4Danny Young begins to move, albeit very slowly. He seems completely dazed and it wouldn’t be a shock if he’s seriously concussed.5
6Sean Casey grins, raising his arms triumphantly as Danny Young struggles to even get to one knee. 7Danny Young manages to firmly plant one foot, still unable to get to his feet properly.8He grabs on to the ring apron, looking up at the ring in a state of confusion.9Young looks completely out of it once again, but throws himself under the bottom rope out of instinct. The fans come unglued as Sean Casey looks outraged at the fact he managed to make it back in the ring after that DDT.Daniel Knight: “How on earth did he manage that? That’s incredible!” Sean Casey quickly rushes in to Danny Young who still looks out of it, yanking him to his feet. He quickly feeds the hand of Danny Young between his own legs, trying to grasp it for the Call of The Void. Young fires his free arm to the side, smashing Sean Casey with an elbow strike. BANG. Another elbow. BANG. Another elbow. BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG. Rapid elbow strikes from Danny Young force Sean Casey to release his grip, both men completely exhausted as they stagger away from one another. The force of the impact from the ddt hasn’t helped danny at all as the blood begins to flow from the cut on his eyebrow. The referee tries to check up on him once again but is pushed away as both men seem determined to get a decisive result here. Sean Casey comes in close again, this time managing to get in with a Low Kick. The blood covering the face of Danny Young isn’t helping him at all as Sean Casey begins to pepper blows in to his almost blind opponent. Low kick. Gut punch. Middle kick. Young swings his arm to defend himself but Sean Casey snatches it and performs an Arm Wringer with enough force to yank Danny Young down on to his shoulder. He makes a cut-throat gesture before stepping over the arm of Danny Young and dropping to a seated position, reaching over and beginning to pull the injured arm of Danny Young back. He reaches over and around, moving one of his arms behind the head of Danny Young. He seems ready to lock in some sort of gruelling submission hold, but Danny Young forces him back, managing to pin his shoulders to the mat.1

NO!!!Sean Casey manages to push him off as the fans let out an overall sigh of disappointment, hoping Young could snatch the win from Sean Casey here tonight. Young looks shocked as Casey doesn’t seem to believe Young nearly snatched the victory. Both men scramble to their feet but Danny Young sidesteps, snatching Sean Casey like he’s about to perform a snapmare. He pulls Sean Casey down for a snapmare, but instead drops to one knee and pulls Sean Casey straight down in to his knee, causing him to stagger back in a groggy fashion. Young gets back to his feet, letting out a primal warcry before turning his body and bringing his leg up to strike Sean Casey. Sean casey puts his arm up to block the oncoming kick, but seems confused when there’s no impact on his arm. Young manages to bend his leg to a crooked angle in mid-air before swinging it like a scythe, smashing Sean Casey in the back of the head with the Brazilian Kick. Sean Casey falls to his knees as Danny Young looks ready to strike. He snatches Sean Casey in to a double underhook before using his monster like strength once again to power Casey up in to a vertical position. He looks ready to drop him but instead shifts the position of Sean Casey in mid-air, driving him down with extra force behind the Tiger Flowsion!Alecia Matthews: “Tiger Flowsion! Tiger Flowsion!” Daniel Knight: “Holy sh*t! Tiger Flowsion from Danny Young could spell the end here!” Danny Young quickly hooks both legs of Sean Casey, stacking him up high on the cover.1

NO!!! Sean Casey manages to get his shoulder up at the last possible moment as the fans let out another massive sigh. Danny Young looks completely shocked at the fact he can’t put Sean Casey away.Sean Casey slowly rolls over on to his stomach, leaving himself completely open. Danny Young’s eyes roll back, almost as if he’s possessed by a demon. He begins to get back to his feet as Sean Casey begins to try and crawl away. He throws himself on top of Sean Casey, laying in to him instantly with a vile Elbow Strike to the back of the head. Sean Casey tries to cover up but Danny Young kneels on his arms, making sure he can’t move them. Young begins to hammer away at the unprotected head of Sean Casey with wild Lefts and Rights, following up with 12 to 6 Elbow Strikes and wicked Forearm Smashes. Sean Casey looks unable to continue!Alecia Matthews: “Enough is enough!” Daniel Knight: “Both men knew this had the chance to end violently, both men knew the consequences.” Danny Young gets to his feet, beginning to stomp down on the back of Sean Casey’s head with excessive force. Casey seems to be trying to crawl away but Young throws himself down on top of him once again, smashing him in the temple with a Hammerfist. Casey is unable to cover up as Danny Young keeps laying in to him, the referee eventually getting between the men and calling for the bell.Christa Adina: Here is your winner by referee stoppage, Danny Yooooung! Alecia Matthews: What a match! Daniel Knight: What a stoppage! Alecia Matthews: I think that's what you call a show stealer right there Daniel. We all knew these two men were capable of great things but they just left it all out there. Wow! Young celebrates up on the 2nd rope and signals with his hands that he wants a belt around his waist, and after picking up the win in such a closely fought contest he has to be in contention for a shot at the gold.

Christa Adina: Ladies and gentlemen, the next bout is scheduled for…
The stadium lights cut before Christa finishes her sentence. From very subtle to deafening harmony, the crescendo of “Gangsta’s Paradise” hits the PA system with force. The lights flicker back on and the Bloodied Eagle is standing in the middle of the ring with a microphone.
Alecia Matthews: What the hell is he doing out here?!
Ante Whitner: I am not the man for mysterious cut-and-dry appearances, but duty calls and I’m f*ckin’ here. Phillip Schneider, you vile disgusting bastard, I hope you’re f*ckin’ listening.
The crowd erupts in cheers.
Ante Whitner: The dogma that Phillip Schneider engulfs himself in of butchering whoever the f*ck he wants is... unparalleled, unprecedented, and unchained. It’s what makes Phillip Schneider Phillip Schneider and it makes us all nauseous at the sheer thought. Earlier tonight, the Phillip Schneider archetype has been taken to a level that no one can comprehend: butchering an innocent wrestler by the name of The Dog who ate Hamburgers. Despite the sheer brutality of what he did, it made me learn something unique about him. He is a man forever trapped in a story he can’t write an ending to, manipulating the plot every damn time to make him the hero in everyone’s eyes. He calls himself “your heretic hero” for God’s sake.
The packed arena starts to boo.
Ante Whitner: He targeted me for wasting my ten seconds of fame and now I find myself targeting him for his non-existent and imaginative glory. The relationship between us has divided to a point where we can’t even call each other enemies nor opponents. We are like night and day, cold and hot, polar opposites vying for survival. But yet, he continues to act as if he was in the middle, butchering innocent lives to prove he’s not the man he truly is.
Daniel Knight: Defiant.
Ante Whitner: The Dog who ate Hamburgers was assaulted with a sickle, stripped of his mask, and torched in a blazing inferno for what reason? It’s easy to spill blood and call it a day, but for someone to maliciously harm an innocent man is a clear message to not only himself, but to everyone he hates. I’m not the man who opens the message and never replies, no… I always reply back. I’m not going to slit throats, torch people, nor decapitate anyone, but I have a special request. *chuckles* If you have any decency to come out here with the blood of The Dog who ate Hamburgers on your hands, do it b*tch.
"Shadows" by Yelawolf begins to play over the P/A system, the lights coming to an immediate dim and the entrance way beginning to flash. Phillip Schneider makes his way through the curtain, the blood spattered sickle that he harmed Dog with earlier in the show in one hand, a long white lit candle in the other. Schneider reaches behind him, putting the sickle in his back pocket, producing a microphone from his other back pocket.
Phillip Schneider: You rant and rave about The Dog that Ate the Hamburgers, but understand, the blood of the innocent is on your hands. That kid out there, the kid in the silly costume that's now in the burn ward with an ear to ear laceration. That's on you. You did that.
Ante Whitner: And how the f*ck did I do it, you lunatic?
Phillip Schneider: Your sins caused his fate.
Ante Whitner: Your hands sliced him idiot. Hell, you burnt him!
Phillip Schneider: Had you done what you were supposed to, he'd be fine.
Ante Whitner: And what was that, be a paper champion? What the f*ck was I supposed to do?
Phillip Schneider: You were the chosen one, Ante. You were supposed to be perfect. You were supposed to be the champion. You dropped the ball, Ante. Now you must pay the pittance for your crimes.
Ante Whitner: So because I lost the International title shot, your brutality towards jobbers is justified? News flash assh*le, you dropped to David Brennan too.
Phillip Schneider: I've established my legacy. This was your one shot and you failed.
Ante Whitner: Listen bunghole...
Phillip Schneider: No you listen, you f*cking prick, this was your shot, and you blew it! You had the f*cking chance for greatness and you f*cking blew it! And now I have to hurt you. I have to end you, just like I ended Hutton Brown when he blew his shot. You get one shot for greatness and you f*cked up. It's over Ante. It's done. The fire on your face? That's a small portion of the pain I'm going to inflict on you. Understand Ante, I am prepared to burn you. I am prepared to scorch you. Nothing but ashes.
Ante Whitner: You wanna play with fire? Let's play with fire. You wanna burn me? We'll burn everything.
Phillip Schneider: Spit it out, a*shole.
Ante Whitner: No rope. Flaming.. barbed wire.
The crowd exploded. Schneider is unphased and unamused.
Phillip Schneider: You're challenging the devil himself to an inferno match. I wasn't sure before if you were brave or stupid, but you've confirmed, you're dumb. I almost feel bad putting you out of your misery. This is bordering into hate crime territory against the mentally defective. No rope flaming barbed wire huh?
Ante Whitner: We'll tear these ropes down, string up barbed wire, as you love to do. Next, we wrap the barbed wire in some kerosine-soaked towels and light it on fire.. the devil only swims in kerosine. So come on devil, let's dance. You wanna f*ckin’ burn the comedy character, you wanna f*ckin’ burn me? Let's play with fire, devil.
Phillip Schneider: In your short career, you've made a lot of mistakes. This will prove to be your gravest mistake. See you in Hell, Ante.
Alecia Matthews: What in the absolute f*ck?!
Daniel Knight: Tune in to our next show folks, there's going to be a murder!
Backstage, tensions are high as David Brennan steps up to the curtain. Around him, WFWF personnel scurry or aimlessly state around, each taking caution to not say or do the wrong thing. As Brennan exhales, shaking off any nerves plaguing him, a production member looks on, eager to see Brennan off on what may be his final jaunt down the ramp.
Production Grip: Hey, Brennan! Take it in, man. Good luck out there.
Brennan shoots him a sideways glance, crunching his face into a half scowl, half smirk as he visibly dismisses the insinuation.
David Brennan: F*ck off.
In the arena, the lights dim as a cymbal roll gives way to a whistling melody. The stage fills with a thin, low hanging fog as the somber opening of Five Finger Deathpunch's treatment of "House of the Rising Sun" echoes throughout, initially barely audible over the pitch of he capacity crowd.
"There is a house in Sin City they call The Rising Sun, and it's been the ruin of many a poor boy, and God, I know I'm one."
A thunderous burst of pyrotechnic sparks emerges from the stage with a deafening crack as the song kicks into gear, with David Brennan following in their wake. He storms out on to the stage, tossing aside his dark green fight robe, not stalling for a moment to pander to the crowd, even in spite of their raucous greeting, perhaps in final appreciation for the fact that this may be his last appearance before a WFWF crowd.
Alecia Matthews: If there was any doubt in your mind left that tonight's main event is the one to see, David Brennan just put all those thoughts to rest!
Daniel Knight: He's all business tonight, Alecia, and one shouldn't expect anything less, with the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship and his career in the WFWF both on the line!
Storming down the ramp, a fierce and determined glare on his face, Brennan never breaks his gaze from the center of the ring, effortlessly unlatching the WFWF International Championship and tossing it idly aside as he approaches the ring steps, no mind to the ring hand who scurries in to collect it as he he hurried up the steel steps, hurriedly climbing between the ropes and into the ring. Agitatedly pacing back and forth in an arch facing the ramp he'd just tore his way down, he shakes whatever thoughts might be following him out of his head, occasionally spitting and bearing his teeth as he glares up the ramp, the music fading and the lights returning as he awaits the arrival of his opponent.
Darkness engulfs BC Place once more as 'Stay Away' hits the loudspeakers. On the titantron, clips of Joe Bishop's two spells in the WFWF are interspersed with clips of the Englishman competing around the world, with competitors much less familiar to the American audience.
At “Monkey See, Monkey Do” a flash of pyro blasts out of the stage and from behind the curtain comes the WFWF World Heavyweight Champion, Joe Bishop, to a heated, hostile reception from the sold out crowd.
Daniel Knight: I never thought I'd see the day...
Alecia Matthews: The WFWF Champion has been unflinching in his assertions regarding the state of the WFWF today, and from the sound of it, the revolution may have an uphill climb left ahead of it.
The Englishman raises his right arm, his hand forming a fist, as he takes a few seconds to take in the abuse from the crowd. Once the atmosphere dies down, Bishop begins to march down the ramp, concealing his emotions from the audience and looking entirely focused on his upcoming match, his stare dead set upon the ring before him and by matter of presence, his challenger. He climbs up the ring steps, and enters the ring through the second and third rope as Brennan steps aside to afford him room to make his rounds.
Alecia Matthews: It's a wonder Brennan didn't just strike then and there.
Daniel Knight: These two aren't unfamiliar dance partners, Alecia. David Brennan no doubt knows the calculated lengths to which he'll have to go to have any hope of vanquishing the champion here tonight.
With the ring now vacated, Bishop is left completely still in the middle of the ring - his arms folded as the music fades and the lights return, glimmering off of the championship belt strapped around his waist – looking all but ready to take on Brennan, who slowly makes his way back into the ring as Bishop finds his spot in the opposite corner. Christa Adina takes her place in the center of the ring as the two men stare one another down.
Christa Adina: Ladies and gentlemen, tonight's main event is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first - the challenger, from Boston, Massachusetts, weighing in at two hundred and forty three pounds, he is the WFWF International Champion and requests to be recognized as the sole WFWF Tag Team Champion...David Brennan!!!
Brennan doesn't flinch as the crowd erupts once more as his name is announced. His hands maintain their grip on either plane of the top rope as he rests in his corner, staring down the champion.
Christa Adina: And his opponent - from Wimbledon, England, weighing in at two hundred and five pounds, he is the reigning WFWF World Heavyweight Champion....Joe Bishop!!!
Bishop, on the other hand, does respond as his name is called, taking his place in the center of the ring, crossing his arms to repeat his stance from his entrance moments ago. As the crowd hurls their feelings of disdain his way, Bishop unclasps the his championship belt, slowly hoisting it into the air with one hand as if aiming to rub it in the face of every last individual shouting him down before handing it over to the referee, who presents the belt for recognition as the Adina clears the ring.
Alecia Matthews: It looks like we're just about to get going here as the ref makes his final preparations, and who knows what this matchup is going to bring?
Daniel Knight: Joe Bishop is clearly going to try and set the pace for this match, knowing his weight handicap is all but negligible if he can maintain an upper hand. As for Brennan, well...he's shown as of late, between his last battle with the champion and his own defense against Philip Schneider, an uncanny adaptability in the ring. He may be wise, however, to lean on that distinct weight advantage - and there's the bell!
Ding!Ding!Ding!
Both men lock eyes as they slowly step toward one another, meeting inches apart in the center of the ring. Their initial exchange is verbal - Bishop begins shouting down Brennan, spitting verbal vitriol toward the challenger, none of which is picked up audibly, but his gestures and finger jabs tell the audience all they need to know about the obvious comparisons Joe appears to be making between the two. Brennan, never one to back down from an opportunity to run his mouth, returns the favor, making an obvious ovation toward the legitimacy of his being here tonight.
Alecia Matthews: The build to this match has been a war of words between these two men, Bishop clearly fancying himself the more rounded, legitimate competitor, and it seems like we'll bear witness to the finally volley of that battle before blows are exchanged here tonight.
Bishop makes to turn his back to Brennan in a show of confident disregard for the imposing physical threat his opponent poses, but before he can, Brennan raises his right arm. Bishop's eyes widen, anticipating the first blow from Brennan, but instead, Brennan holds his arm high, fingers spread wide, offering a challenge to Bishop for a test of strength.
Daniel Knight: And Brennan is calling the champion's bluff! He's willing to play at Bishop's level!
Bishop eyes Brennan's hand, slowly raising his own to clasp it in return. The two competitors lock hands and exert their strength against one another, Brennan posing the clear advantage. Bishop is quick to release his grasp, instead trapping Brennan in a collar and elbow tie up, and begins driving Brennan back, stopping only as the two men collide with the corner of the ring. With the ref admonishing Bishop to release his hold, he backs down, clearing space for Brennan to breathe, who comes charging out of the corner, utilizing the gap created to throw a devastating lariat across the chest of his opponent.
Daniel Knight: Come on, now!
Alecia Matthews: Come on, nothing! Brennan will match wits with Bishop, but when push comes to shove, don't think for a second he won't utilize his brute strength to try and tilt the odds in his favor.
Brennan stomps out of the charge, show boating for the crowd with a visible show of aggression as Bishop, fazed but not yet bowed, looks on in astonishment, waiting for Brennan to turn his attention back before executing a picturesque kip up, taking a fighting stance and beckoning for Brennan to bring the fight back to him.
Daniel Knight: It'll take more than a cheap hit like that to down the WFWF champion. Bishop is ready to resume this fight!
Brennan raises his fists, stepping forward to oblige. Hauling back to deliver one of his trademark fists, he's instead met with the out grasped hand of Bishop, who twists the brute's arm behind his back as Brennan struggles to try and regain the upper hand.
Alecia Matthews: And Bishop now has found the niche he'll need to work out of tonight to maintain control of this match. If Brennan can't find his way out of the path Bishop's just carved, we may be bidding the International champion an early farewell.
Strengthening the hold, Bishop frees up a hand to try and lock Brennan's face into the submission as well, but before he's able to apply a firm grasp, he finds himself eating elbows of desperation as Brennan begins finding his foothold to fight the hold off. With a final strike to the temple of the champion shaking him off enough for Brennan to break free. Charging for the ropes, he rebounds looking to take Bishop down to the mat, but is instead met with a sidekick to the midsection. Doubling over from the unexpected hit, Bishop clasps Brennan's head beneath his arm, driving it down into the mat with a DDT and siezing the first opportunity to try and close out the bout.
Daniel Knight: Bishop to retain!
One...
...no.
Alecia Matthews: It's going to take a bit more than that to take Brennan's very livelihood out from under him, I think.
Brennan is quick back to his feet, leaving Bishop to scramble up for another unanticipated meeting. Brennan is quick to sieze on the oppotunity, meeting Bishop with a flurry of closed fist strikes as he finds his balance, driving the champion into the corner as he continues his assault, Bishop throwing his forearms up in defense as the ref rushes in to try and separate the two.
Alecia Matthews: And those are the opportunities Brennan's going to need to exploit. Bishop has a nearly unparalleled ring awareness, but even the slightest slip can lead to a disastrous error.
With the ref threatening the five count, Brennan complies with the order to break the assault, leaving Bishop a moment of reprieve, before turning back and driving his shoulder right into the champ's midsection.
Daniel Knight: Again with the cheap shots! Where's the ref?!
Alecia Matthews: Brennan's going to exploit every opening he can tonight. He may be here to show that he can match physical wit with Joe Bishop, but you can't doubt for a second that even that falls in third behind the championship, and perhaps most importantly, his job.
Dragging the winded Bishop out of the corner, Brennan smiles sadistically as he plants his opponent's head between his thighs, grasping him beneath the midsection, and flipping him up on to his shoulders. The momentum, however, is short lived, as he's unable to slam Bishop to retain the full effect, as the champion grasps the challenger's head, using the downward momentum to drive Brennan's face into the mat, flipping him over once more for the cover.
One...
...tw- no.
Brennan easily tosses Bishop off of him, sending the more wiry champion flying. Bishop, however, is able to land on his feet, and comes running in with a series of kicks to the torso before Brennan is able to fully recover. Striking again and again, Bishop wears Brennan down before siezing upon an opportunity to make his own charge off the ropes, returning with a near picture perfect dropkick to the seated challenger, rolling over him once more for the cover.
Daniel Knight: Joe Bishop showing you how it's done, Brennan!
One...
...two...
..no.
Brennan kicks out, albeit with less dominance than before. Not looking to give his challenger anymore opportunities to exploit any openings, Bishop latches on to Brennan's arms, yanking them backward and driving his knee into his spine as Brennan yowls out in pain.
Alecia Matthews: Bishop is at the obvious disadvantage here tonight, but I don't care how big you are - that move hurts!
Bishop seemingly agrees, nodding in approval as he drives the knee deeper and deeper as the ref comes in to a knee, looking for any sign of submission from Brennan. The challenger bears his teeth, a resounding sound of denial emanating from his mouth as the ref checks again for any sign of giving in. Looking to exaserbate the hold, Bishop plants his opposite foot beside his already driven knee. Using his foot to hold the submission, he releases his knee, planting that foot now beside the other, and dropping to the mat, putting the whole of his body into the hold now as Brennan cries out from the added leverage.
Daniel Knight: This could be Bishop's final farewell to David Brennan right here!
Alecia Matthews: He's got the whole of that hold locked in tight. There are very few places for Brennan to go at this point.
The ref kneels in to try and get the tap out of Brennan, who continues to vehemently persist. Bishop momentarily releases his hands, grasping right back in an attempt to gain a better hold on Brennan's arms. His drive for additional leverage, however, may have been in error, as Brennan flexes his elbows, finding a bit of room to pull the champion toward him, relieving some of the tension on the hold. Bishop doubles down, but Brennan is able to exert some more strength, allowing himself enough wiggle room to bend at the knee. Bishop, once more, applies all he's got to the hold, showing no signs of letting up, but Brennan's found his footing now. With his feet firmly planted, he doubles down with all his strenth, pulling the champion toward him, whose feet fold under the pressure, breaking the hold.
Alecia Matthews: Brennan's free! Bishop had better -
Daniel Knight: No he isn't!
Not looking to be fought off that easily, Bishop clasps his arms around Brennan's neck, applying a sleeper hold in lieu of the broken surfboard. Brennan, however, is firing on pure adrenaline now, and uses the momentum he'd just built to amble to his feet, Bishop still clasped around his neck. Swatting at the champion's arms, he tries in vein to knock Bishop off his hold. Failing that, Brennan throws his arms outward, shouting out in venomous anger that has become all but his signature calling card.
David Brennan: Get the f*ck off of me!
Throwing himself backward, Brennan drops Bishop to the mat, crushing the champion beneath him and hooking the leg as they land, finally going in for his first pinfall of the night.
Alecia Matthews: Brennan covers!
One...
...two...
...no.
Daniel Knight: Not even close!
Alecia Matthews: It was kind of close.
Bishop rolls away from Brennan, who slowly tilts in the opposite direction, each man reaching for the ropes to try and be the first to regain his footing. It's equal measure, as they rise to their feet almost simultaneously, each all but ignoring the raucous cheers from the crowd and they turn their attention almost immediately back toward one another. Bishop is the first to try and strike, charging at Brennan with an upward lariat, looking to knock Brennan off the mat. The challenger stumbles, but maintains his footing. Shaking off the stunted hit, Bishop charges once more, throwing an elbow up at Brennan's jaw, who stumbles back onto the ropes, but maintains his hold on the mat. Looking to send Brennan out for good, Bishop charges off the opposite ropes, using the momentum as he comes charging in with another elbow poised to strike, but Brennan is ready for him this time, doubling down and throwing Bishop over his shoulder, sending the champion over the rope and flying down to the arena floor.
Alecia Matthews: And Bishop is out!
Daniel Knight: Stay out! Brennan can't win the title by count out!
Alecia Matthews: Surely you hold Bishop is higher regard than that?
Brennan ambles away toward the center of the ring, using the opportunity not to strike, but rather to regain his bearings. Bishop is pushing off of the floor, but he's slow to rise as the ref begins the count.
One!
Two!
In short order, Bishop is back to his knees, one hand on the apron as he begins righting himself up.
Three!
The count is short lived as the ref resumes the match, Bishop having successfully rolled back in beneath the ropes. It's Brennan, however, who siezes the opening, charging at Bishop with a series of stomps before he's able to regain his footing. Using the upper rope for added momentum, he drives boot after boot into Bishop's abdomen, before forcing the champion beneath the ropes and out of the ring once more.
Daniel Knight: Some things never change...
Alecia Matthews: Brennan has been fighting uphill since the start of this battle. It's little wonder he's digging into his arsenal to try and tilt the scales.
Rolling beneath the ropes, Brennan joins Bishop on the outside, dragging him to his feet as the ref begins the count.
One!
Brennan answers by hastily tossing Bishop into the guardrail, leaving the champion in a heap upon the floor as the spectators at ringside look on in shock.
Two!
Daniel Knight: Digging deep, indeed. Brennan knows he can't win this one by Bishop's rules, and he's showing it here and now!
Three!
Picking up the heap of a champion once more, Brennan sends him in the opposite direction, Bishop landing with an audible, deadening thud against the side of the ring, landing once again upon the floor.
Four!
Alecia Matthews: There's no arguing - these are shades of the Brennan of old. Bishop prides himself on his traditional style of competition, but Brennan's brute force may prove to be the champion's ultimate match.
Dragging Bishop to his feet once more, Brennan handily rolls him into the ring, breaking the count as he follows behind. Hooking the leg, he lazily covers the champion, grinning as he looks to put the match away for good.
One...
...two...
...NO!
Daniel Knight: Bishop kicks out!
Alecia Matthews: Joe Bishop is still in this one, and Brennan is not happy about it!
Brennan huffs and sneers as Bishop tries to roll out of harms way. Not looking to lose his momentum, Brennan snatches the champion before he can roll away, pulling him with force to his feet before driving a fierce boot to the midsection, doubling Bishop over as Brennan yanks him back between his legs. Hooking the champions arms, Brennan hollers out to the capacity crowd before hoisting Bishop upward.
Alecia Matthews: That's Brennan's Charles River Plunge! This may be over!
Daniel Knight: Damnit, not this - wait! Bishop isn't having it!
Indeed, reaching a seated position atop Brennan's shoulders, Bishop begins hammering away at Brennan, interrupting the challenger's maneuver and stalling the inevitable drop to the mat. Weaseling away from Brennan, who tries in vein to fight Bishop off, the champion rounds to the back of Brennan's neck, resting piggy backed before rolling forward with all his might before Brennan can drop him back again. As Brennan lands hard face first, Bishop follows through with the roll, planting Brennan's shoulders and hooking both legs as they land.
Daniel Knight: Bishop's got him!
One...
...two...
...thr-NO!
Brennan once again sends the champion flying as he kicks out, looking back with disgust as Bishop hurries to his feet, his own adrenaline now driving his momentum. Bishop siezes the moment, rebounding off the ropes and dropping Brennan with a flying back elbow before he can fully regain his footing. Seeing the opening, he rebounds off the ropes once more, landing a seated kick as Brennan attempts to right himself, before rebounding once more and dropping Brennan to his back with a running knee to the jaw.
Alecia Matthews: And Bishop has found his fire!
Daniel Knight: That's what happens when you cheap out, Alecia - eventually the better man prevails!
Feeding off the electricity of the crowd, Bishop nods as he surveys his surroundings. Dragging Brennan into position, he launches himself up to the top rope, readying himself with ease as the crowd rises to its feet in anticipation. Picking his spot, Bishop leaps into the air, rolling forward as he does so.
Daniel Knight: Four-fifty splash! Bishop's -
Alecia Matthews: BRENNAN WITH THE KNEES!
Bishop lands every bit of the splash on Brennan's upturned knees, sending him bounding off of the challenger, clutching his abdomen in agony as Brennan climbs to his feet. Dragging Bishop up, he siezes upon the already doubled over champion, hooking the arms and hoisting him up to his shoulders once more.
Alecia Matthews: And a Charles River Plunge to -
Daniel Knight: NOT YET!!!
Bishop begins striking away once more, stalling Brennan's effort, and once again weaseling the backside of Brennan's neck, continuing to strike his opponent's head as he rides piggy back as Brennan tries in vein to find some way of putting him away.
Alecia Matthews: Bishop is going to fight this to the very bitter end.
Striking upward, trying to fend off Bishop's assault, Brennan finally grasps Bishop and, using his monumental reach, hoists the champion out of his seated position and down onto his shoulders. With a look of absolute vengeance on his face, Brennan swings Bishop forward, driving him headfirst down into the mat, hooking the leg as they land.
Alecia Matthews: NEEDLE DAMAGE?!
Daniel Knight: DAMN YOU!
Alecia Matthews: That's the same maneuver that put Brennan away in the finals of the Supreme Gauntlet tournament, and it's Brennan now with the cover!
One...
...two...
...THREE!!!
Alecia Matthews: He's done it!
Daniel Knight: No!
Alecia Matthews: Brennan has captured the WFWF Championship, but perhpas more importantly, Brennan is here to stay!
Brennan falls back off of Bishop as the bell sounds, the crowd rising to their feet.
Christa Adina: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner.....and NEW WFWF World Heavyweight Champion....David Brennan!
Bishop rolls out of the ring and out of sight as the ref slides in, handing Brennan his International Championship as well as the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship as the new champion rises to a seated position. Grasping the belts, Brennan wastes no time on celebration or fanfare, rolling out of the ring opposite Bishop, a belt in each hand, and storming around the ring, and up the ramp.
Alecia Matthews: This was a fight with everything on the line, and it seems Brennan is content to just have it overwith.
Daniel Knight: For the best, I say. Brennan fought tooth and nail, but unsurprisingly, even he couldn't resist, well...himself...in executing some of the tactics that he did.
Alecia Matthews: In any case, we do have a new WFWF Champion, and it'll be interesting to see what's in store next, given the.....oh...my....no...
Daniel Knight: What the hell is he doing here?!
Brennan, it would appear, wonders the same thing as his march toward the back is halted atop the peak of the ramp, the new champion finding himself face to face with none other than a smirking, devilish Michael Kyzer.
Alecia Matthews: Michael Kyzer is arguably the entire reason either of these men are in the title picture to begin with, having dispensed of the reigning champion at SuperBrawl this past winter!
Daniel Knight: And it looks as though now he's set his sights on another one of his former New Epoch allies!
The former friends stare one another down, an intense look of hatred and vitriol washing over Brennan's face to meet the arrogant, bawdy smirk of Michael Kyzer. Kyzer's eyes stare daggers into Brennan's, before lazily falling out of gaze toward the man before him and into sharp focus upon the championship belt he'd just captured seconds earlier, his smirk growing wider still at the sight of the golden belt dangling from Brennan's hands.
Brennan follows Kyzer's gaze, never once breaking his stare, even as he steps aside, rounding past Kyzer and continuing his march toward the back as Kyzer watches him pass, his grin never fading as he waits til Brennan disappears behind the curtain before facing forward once more, taking in the crowd, the ring, the bevy of confused ringside personnel, and the fallen champion before him as the show fades to a close on the face of one of the WFWF's most notorious scourges.

There we go folks. Sorry about the delay, but as I said before life got in the way. HUGE thanks to Sleepy for his match, Lynn for his and Brennan for his. You all did a stellar job! Crowe, Schneider and Ante wrote their segs and overall, for a show decided by a terrible turn out the results have come out very very well.

I like the effect of the WFWF Network buffering and then restarting the main event.
That's probably on me.

Great show. Especially under the circumstances.
I appreciate the finish to my match. I was worried that Casey would be Hobbes here.

A few more random thoughts. The thought of Phillip Schneider wearing a Frank Lynn "Join the revolution!" hat made me laugh. It wasn't my intention when writing Anna Ahriman's entrance, but now I have to laugh at Anna emerging from Samael's hologram as "My Leftovers" starts to play. The referee stoppage at the end of Casey vs Young was a nice touch. Looking forward to the in ring return of Lucas Crowe... as long as it isn't against me

A few more random thoughts. The thought of Phillip Schneider wearing a Frank Lynn "Join the revolution!" hat made me laugh. I've always enjoyed interconnecting throw away pieces within the in show presentation to lower card acts. Like, any time merchandise is needed in Schneider's act, it's never Schneider merch. t-shirts/DVDs/hats/whatever. for a little while I would use Dead Idol as a wink to people in the know. Then I started using Bronx Bomber merch as a bigger wink to people more in the know who somehow thought that those winks were the same, now it's just whoever strikes me on the spur of the moment. The ascetic was the floppy 90s fishing hat. glad it tickled your fancy though

Really solid set of results. Possibly the only gripe I could have is the first match appeared to be working with a 20 count while the other matches on the card seemed to be working with a traditional 10 count. Was that by design and I just missed something or was that just a "writers discretion" type deal? In any event, that was the only thing that took me out of it. Congrats to the new champ, it's a shame the turnout this card had but sometimes life just has a way of pissing in everyone's corn flakes.

Wouldn't be the first time as I once mentioned the thirty days to defend a title rule which doesn't exist in the WFWF.

I've been out of the game for a bit. Haha. I just noticed it, and it could be that it's a 20 count and the other match just chose to have it end at 9.

I've stabbed people in the head with barbeque skewers and a disqualification hasn't happened, so my interpretation of the WFWF rules is likely not accurate. However, as contract negotiations approach, I insist that all Phillip Schneider matches have at least a 25 count on the floor.
