Dude had so much promise and potential, but bad decisions and gang affiliations usually end in tragedy.

Amazing that after all this time he was still only 27 years old. This guy had so much potential on the field and also in life because of his big contract and his young family. It's a big shame and a waste. I will never fully understand it. Still, thoughts are with the families involved in all these cases.

Reminds me of Tupac in a way. Affiliating with gangs brought Tupac to his drive by shooting death. It wasn't even the first time he was shot either. Hernandez took his own, I couldn't imagine serving a life sentence. Two young people gone too soon. Regardless of what they both did, they should be remembered.

C+P from another source I posted this at, but, all feelings remain. I loathe Aaron Hernandez and all he "stood" for. er couldn't handle his own guilt when he walked a couple of days ago and he knew it, or the big house was catching up to him. him. him. himx100. From the other site I posted this (in relation to something I said about being pro-death)-- "People like Aaron Hernandez make me wish I was never born. And that is where I will never waver in my thinking that we need death to keep life breathing. him. Waste of talent, air, space... and so much more. Human life or not (with his own family/home boys or whatever that will mourn him, I care not). Many things pass each day without notice. The only reason I'm happy this is being publicized is because he's ing dead and it just shows even his tough 6'5" self with his teardrop tattoos couldn't handle the big house or his guilt in knowing he walked on charges the other day and is still going to spend life behind bars (or was). I can safely say I hope he met living hell (whatever that is for him) while in that place, and wish for a blackout on his name from hereon. him and the NFL when it comes to players like that asswad. good riddance...

So I've been thinking about this because my Facebook is filled with things like"sad he wasted his life" "such potential " and the like
But yesterday? When the news about Steve Stephens killing himself was reported, the same people were saying good riddance, coward, etc.
How is Aaron any different?

Sad thing, for some people, it's because Aaron Hernandez could play football. If this was just Aaron Hernandez, regular guy, take out the pro football career, you'd have a lot more comments like you saw with Stephens. The only person I feel sympathy and sadness for in all of this, is his daughter. I have no sympathy for him, because he didn't loose what he had because of some doings of other people, he crapped it away by his own actions.

Good. Less money taxpayers have to spend feeding this guy for the next 50 years.

The way I see it, with 2 scum bags offing themselves in the past 2 days. The world has gotten just a little bit better.

We should not even be giving this guy any time of day or mentioning his name anymore...he's dead...good riddance...why does he need a thread solely for discussion on this? Athletes who aren't scumbags who were done playing for good die often and I don't see posts about [most all] of them. He was never going to play in the NFL again either way, but if this deserves its own topic I can think of a lot of other ideas that disappear in those massive sticky threads with 3 word replies... Not going to argue nonsense, but I just don't think it's worth giving his death any attention even. Just keep it in a brief blurb within posts in the main thread..... anyway....I'm done....fock Aaron Hernandez for the umpteenth time or so. I'd feel worse for his daughter if I truly didn't believe her life will be better off without him in--and likely out of it for her upbringing. That is, assuming he hadn't murdered his ing friend. Screw him.
