Considering the tag division has been so horribly lacking for the last decade plus...then yeah, they really are the best bet. Well if that's the case then that's pretty damn sad. Well, it is what it is, but there's no denying their appeal. Think about it. They dress in unicorn horns and cotton candy colored clothing and got a trombone and a box of cereal over...I'd say that's pretty damned good. Regardless of personal opinion.

I guess it's just the old school fan in me. Demolition is my favorite team and if their record has to end I wish it was to a better team.
But oh well... Regardless if they break it or not, they will still never be as bada** as Demolition was.

I'm annoyed by WWE's recent obsession with wanting to break records.

I was thinking about this last week. I think the whole reasoning behind the New Day breaking Demolitions record is to get people talking about Demolition and the record because.... they will be inducted in the HOF next year....

When does recorded get broken cause I have a feeling sheamus and Cesaro just might have a chance for a upset

I like the New Day but I think I'm ready for them to drop the title as soon as they break the record, they're deserving of breaking the record but it's time for a change maybe a heel turn would refresh them?

New Day has been stale as hell for months now. I think the problem is that they keep mentioning that they're approaching Demolition's record and as soon they cross the line, they'll finally drop the belts immediately after.
Kinda like how Nikki (301) went about a week after breaking AJ's (295) record.
Perhaps there's a little spite towards Ax & Smash for being in the lawsuit, or WWE's writers & producers are just dull.

I'm really getting behind Cesaro/Sheamus and want them to win the titles but if they have to wait another 6/7 weeks, WWE will have probably given up on them by then and so will the fans if New Day beat them week in week out for those 6/7 weeks

Lol records are made to be broken dude. Didn't grow up with Demolition, not a fan of the stuff I've seen from them. Don't care if New Day breaks the record. I think Demolition was one of those things that you had to experience at the time to fully appreciate. I LOVED them when I was a kid. Still do actually, but I'm fine with their record being broken.

Will New Day be remembered in 30 years time like Demolition? If so then go for it.

I'm fine with it. Honestly to me Demolition were always poor man's Road Warriors, even if they turned out OK.
Demolition is also in the lawsuit against the WWE, so you can bet your ass it is going to be broken.

Demolition are one of the greatest teams ever. They had tons of classic matches and moments.
New Day are appalling.

It would be cool to see demolition show up and congratulate them. As a nice touch and a way to get over the lawsuit. Heck even have them team up , or have new day wear demolition gear for a match in a tribute way.
