Seven. Some great moments and they didn't get cold feet this year on crowning NEW WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION ROMAN REIGNS, but there were no truly great matches.

Solid seven. The matches themselves were all very, very good. The outcomes were piss. But an A for effort all around, even for Roman and HHH. Wasn't exactly a clinic but they were working stiff. Best Match was the Women's Championship. Biggest Surprise was Ryder. Best Moment was Shane, no doubts there. Honorable Mentions are me marking the out for HBK, Foley, Austin and THE ROCK WRESTLING AT MANIA, even in a record squash.

I'm not a massive fan of Women's wrestling in WWE, always been a SHIMMER guy. But those three stole the show. Even Sasha's botches were covered up nicely by Becky, and Becky's was covered nice by Ric. She was coming and you could tell he was saying push me to make sure he could catch her. Kudos to him.

It was below average so I gave it a 4. Best match of the night for me was Jericho vs AJ and that wasn't anything great. The second half of the show was incredibly disappointing.

It was the best match of the night for sure (or at least the best that didn't involve ladders), but I dunno... The top three matches were pretty disappointing compared to my expectations, and I kinda think this one could've been better as well. Even as I say that, I do feel like I'm selling it short though. It was really good.

I found every match entertaining. And other than the Tag Team championship match and the World Heavywight Championship match I was wrong with every pick I made. Which was a breath of fresh air. It made it that much more entertaining. I feel everyone that was on that card should take pride in their performances, because everyone one of them busted their @sses and were entertaining.

It was really good. Eh, to each their own. I don't think the main event was even that terrible either. They didn't work as stiff as Roman and Lesnar last year but they were both trying to get Roman over in ring and at the end you could tell Roman was thinking " it, we tried. Time to smile." I wasn't expecting anything out of Hell, no one was. It wasn't a clinic either, typical slug fest but Shane showed he's got balls of steel. No one at that age would take that bump. Even Taker was looking at him like "You crazy mother er" and you know that wasn't a completely in character look, he was amazed Shane was willing to do it. The only true letdown was Ambrose/Lesnar. The result sucked, and the match itself was hardly a street fight. Few Kendo shots and your typical 1,000 chairs finish. Meh.

Match quality wise, 8-9. Booking, 4. Overall 7. This is pretty close for me too. Except I'd probably still drop the booking to a 3 at most. However, questionable decisions aside, i won't let that drag the in ring performance aspect down. There was some truly great action crammed into this one. So I'll keep it at a 7 for that reason alone. But as for the outcomes of a lot of those matches..........unless some of the bigger stories are actually going somewhere tonight (Shane/Vince, something different for Roman, next level for Jericho/Styles) then it will stand as several missteps concieved to ,seemingly, just get them thru the event itself.

I gave it an 8. They have a certain formula to WrestleMania which has remained in place for the last 3, and this was no different. You can argue that booking could have been better PRIOR to Mania to provide a more rounded show, but with the lemons they gave themselves they made plenty of lemonade. So I'm grading the show as such..
The HBK, Austin, Foley segment was wild! Awesome and enjoyable to see. The same with The Rock/Cena/Wyatts. I'm glad it was Rowan who went down in 6 seconds and not Bray. How people can say they buried Bray is beyond me, The Rock directly endorsed him which was a nice moment.
Jericho was always gunna win that match with Styles. Not just to tie their score, I had a strong feeling he would. I even placed a bet on it!
Ryder STOLE Samis moment! Great feel good stuff for Ryder, but really?! In spite of Sami?! I was annoyed.
Buzzing for Baron Corbin! What more can I say?! They made a great moment out of nothing!
I agree with some saying the Women's Championship should have gone on last, it would have been an even classier touch on one of the more genuinely classy decisions WWE have ever made. Again, as much as it was Sashas night, Charlotte winning sets up Sasha vs Charlotte perfectly, that was always going to happen too. A swerve from predictability as well as sharing honours evenly on a night where Sasha threatened to steal everybody's thunder.
Ambrose was never going to actually use a chainsaw or barbed wire. The match was a bit of a dud, but it didn't harm either man and the feud was well put together. It took 10+ suplexs and an F5 on chairs to keep Ambrose down, which is the way you'd have expected it to go.
Reigns was obviously going to win, the match dragged though. A nice touch when Stephanie got flattened, a rematch with a stipulation is probably on the cards and will probably out-do this match. Still, a soft landing compared to what the Great IWC Tantrum forecast prior to the show.
Speaking of soft landings, or not so soft.. Shane vs Taker was epic, taker winning was practically compulsory. As was the leap of faith. Great visuals and a "WrestleMania moment" never to be forgotten. Undertaker lives on, which is all that matters in the grand scheme of things.
Overall the show was enjoyable and exciting, which is what you expect from WrestleMania at the very least. Considering a weakened card/roster, they did a great job. New Days DBZ Entrance was a personal highlight, as was Sami spiking Owens on the ladder with that exploder Suplex. Great stuff, the kind of night that makes you happy to be a fan.

I gave it a 5. 9 for the overall effort put in by the performers and 1 for the horrid writing and booking.
If you asked me to describe it in one word, that word would be "contrived". I felt like I was watching a B-Movie, especially when Stephanie gave that ridiculous promo in that ridiculous outfit.

A solid 7.
Ladder match was filled crazy spots and bumps. Ryder winning was shocking the more unpredictable thing of the entire show.
Jericho vs. Styles was decent. Jericho is washed up and needs to call it a career soon. Everything he did looked slow and lethargic. Styles should have won, but I think this was the first Mania Jericho has won at in forever so I guess it helps keep his credibility.
New Day vs. LON was fun. LON should have won as they did. The legends at the end was great, but Austin should have at least worn the shorts and vest to fit in with the other two. Rusev with the best Stunner sell!
Ambrose vs. Lesnar was a let down. It feel like a video game match with repeating the same moves over and over again. Went on way too short and there was nothing too memorable about it.
Hell In A Cell was the match of the night. Shane McMahon stole the show, like he usually does. People who doubted this are eating crow today.
Womens Triple Threat was ok. I don't really see where all the hype is coming from. I thought Becky was overly sloppy and Charlotte was hit or miss. Everything Sasha did was smooth. The new belt is ugly. I'm just not into women's wrestling no matter how "good" it is.
ATGMBR was fun seeing DDP and Shaq. Corbin winning was cool.
Triple H vs Reigns was whatever. The one time I would have liked to see Triple H bury someone, this was it.

Was looking for a poop emoji but I don't see it.
It's not the worst Wrestlemania but it is in the bottom 1/3 for sure. Bizarre booking decisions and a lot of the matches fell flat. If not for Mistress Stephanie last night, it would be further down the list.
Shane vs. Taker was a fun match, but the bizarre booking and stipulations made it hard to get emotionally invested in it. As it did for a lot of people because you didn't really want either man to lose or win.
The women's match was very good but the ending was meh.
Title match with the muted crowd was blah. Ending was sadly necessary and predictable. They didn't have good chemistry last night.
Dean and Brock really disappointed me. I expected that to steal the show.
League of Booty beating New Day is so bizarre and baffling. They could have won, had League do a beat down and still do the legends segment.
Ladder match was good, and even though I am not really a Ryder fan, I popped for his win just because it was so unexpected.
The pre-show stuff was all blah.
The show just kind of made me feel blah overall.

Yes I'm bias because I was there.
But I'm ignoring reviews, wasn't bothered by results, and took the show as a giant form of entertainment.
I went to NXT for great wrestling. I went to Wrestlemania for pure entertainment.
Fulfilling weekend.

Actually enjoyed it. The ending was just baffling. How they put Reigns/HHH on last instead of Shane/Taker I'll never know. That may be the last match Shane and Taker ever wrestle. Had HHH of won I think people would be rating it way higher.

Its a 6 for me, really enjoyed it in the sense of entertainment but didnt do anything to progress storyline. Kalisto gets a win, the shock of Ryder winning the title, Divas match was awesome, New Day and Triple H's enterance, Austin Foley and HBK's bit with LON, Shane vs Taker was good, not what I expected but glad Undertaker got the win.
I felt that after last night the landscape would have changed, and it hasnt at all. so that kinda sucks.

4/10
Match quality was about a 7/10, but the results were a 1/10 or so. Also, who thought this Mania of all Manias should go almost seven hours? Good lord.

7/10.
How many more bad Triple H WrestleMania main events are we going to get?

I gave it a 7. Not great by any means, but far from the worst.
Besides Dean & Brock the quality of the matches is more/less what I expected. I knew Shane/Taker wasn't going to be a masterpiece. I knew Triple H was gonna have to try his best to get the crowd to boo him instead. I knew the IC ladder match would be a spot fest. I knew the Women's match was most likely gonna steal the show. But I expected so much more from Dean and Brock. As I said in the official thread, that was by far my biggest disappointment.
