For the first time possibly since Elite 16 Kevin Nash and Elite 11 Punk before it, a figure has come along at the right time to capture a moment and feeling, and that figure is Elite 37 Seth Rollins.
Very much akin to Elite 11 Punk, the figure is not necessarily up to date but still works very well as a stand in to the current look. And also much akin to that Punk, the early Ebay frenzy is insane. I searched completed listings and most loose ones are between $45 to $55 dollars and a packaged one went for a little over $100. No doubt the figure will be sought after and difficult to find without a little dilligence.
To me this is awesome. Early buzz and enthusiasm to this degree had been in short supply for a long time on this line.
I'm one of the many who enjoys Rollins immensely and cannot wait to get this figure. The hunt had gotten bland for me and this figure has rekindled the excitement and anticipation I enjoyed back in 2010 and 2011 so much. Anybody else?

There has been that weird paradigm shift. When Mattel started, basics (even Divas) were massively easy to find and elites were scarce. Toysrus would have two elite pegs and twenty basic pegs. Flash forward to my visit yesterday, basics had one peg and elites had ten and stacks of elites that wouldn't fit were on the shelves below.

The TRU Big Book Giveaway is 10x's better, imo. E37 is kinda ... rushed feeling idk, but I'll wait for the MITB Cash In one With that being said though, everyone likes different figures for totally different reasons and if E37 Rollins brings you back into collecting again, then that's totally awesome brother !

I was watching every one that came up for auction.
I finally got one for $49.99 a couple weeks ago and was glad to pay it since I had had so much trouble before.
The last boxed Diesel auction I was watching (I seem to need all the crazy expensive stuff!) ended a couple days ago at $92 plus $12 shipping.

As a mainly flashback/legends collector, I might have to break my rule for this Seth, since the FB in the series isn't one I need immediately. It's truly a great figure and one I can't wait to get my hands on.

I guess I was lucky scoring one for $50 a few weeks ago...

It's truly a great figure and one I can't wait to get my hands on. I couldn't agree more. My collection is 99% flashbacks and legends. But Seth is my current favorite and this figure is pretty nice. I got my hands on a damaged box Seth from RSC last week. It was $22 or $23 I believe and there was just a little dent in the bottom of the box. Since I collect loose I had no issue with that. All of the excitment around this figure is making me a little concerned about Ringsidefest though. It's about a 2.5 hour drive each way for me and I would love to go to have Seth and Dolph sign figures for me but I have to find a MOC Seth before early Oct, and that's when RSC has the expected ship dates. Hopefully I can get my hands on one before the show!

Idk for me personally I don't see the big hype for this figure. It could of been done way better seeing as no new parts were created aside from the headsculpt. The legs are way too thin and I think the SR belt should be molded along with having wrist cuffs. The TRU big book version looks better imo aside from the problems I stated.

I'm sure RSC will have E37 at RSF I hope that's the case but I'm sure everyone there will be trying to get their hands on one. I would hate to get there and have them be sold out. Hopefully I can get one beforehand so I won't have to worry about it *crosses fingers hoping for Amazon stock soon*
