I mean this is terrible but I feel like mdt could have gotten Hollywood out after the DM Hogan because honestly I was tired of all the red and yellow Hogans besides the 02 Hogan I was waiting on

There was no way anyone could predict that, but man it feels like we got a lot of unnecessary fringe Hogan figures like the HOF and RSC Hogans instead of versions that were highly demanded like the nWo, a 2002 Hulk Still Rules and a 1990-1992 era Hogan.
Hope this gives Mattel some insight that nothing is a given with these legends and it's better to get the most in-demand versions out right away instead of milking it out for later.

I don't know why anyone's surprise. Hogan was released from his contract. Even aside from the other issues, that alone means no more merchandise.
It's a shame, but that's how it goes.

So... Instead of getting what we all wanted.. A monumental Character that meaned SO MUCH... We got this... ........"Worth"....."The"..... "Wait"..... I think you should take up your problem with American Made hogan. He's a sneaky b**ch that shouldn't have been made for another 3 years

E34, RSC & HOF Hogans should have waited til Hollywood & 2002-2003 Hogans were released... It's sickening

Why the was Hulk still rules hogan on the back of the HOF box? Like cmon... HOF hogan should have been 2002-2003. We knew Hollywood Hogan wouldn't be a RSE tho... Too big of a character to not release to all major retailers. They waited a year to make it a DM... It could have easily been E34, or the HOF figure tho

What irritates me the most about all of this is we get a definitive no from twitter and bill couldn't address this himself to us.
At least say yeah... No hogan, but as a way to make it up I have so and so coming out in his place now.

I thought this was common knowledge that we didn't need Mattel to confirm it

Sadness... this will blow over and everything will be fine down the road... I agree. Just a matter of time.

I have a question? First Mattel makes the decision to spend a bunch of time and money sculpting and building a figure that they never had the rights to... And then right at the end they come up with a filler and say how important it is that everyone gets a chance at SDCC Taker... Which is a load of BS... They ed up... If Owen was signed (I assume it was him) do u really think Mattel would be re-issuing taker? And now While they could have never know what was going to happen with Hogan, surely the question has to be asked, how much money have they missed out on? Let's for argument say they released Hogan (red/yellow) and Hollywood back to back would it really have affected the DM viablity? Again they could never have know, and I would be thinking this figure will see the light in a couple of years time. But surely questions are being asked... All that time, tooling and money in development of 2 figures - for nothing. I guess we know why elites are $20.00 +

We should have had Hollywood a long ass time ago.
So much more deserving than American Made Hogan (How drunk did the people coming up with that idea have to be) and anorexic HoF Hogan.
I don't feel sad about not getting Hollywood... I feel pissed!
Shoddy decision making... Hollywood should be on our shelves now and these other damn Hogans should be the ones getting the axe!

Already posted in another thread. But man this breaks my heart. I already removed tough enough from my dvr. Watched 10 mins of raw before I turned it off and I could barely watch total divas tonight. I got brand new e36 figs yesterday n I'm not even excited. I'm just turned off by wrestling right now. And to top it off, Cena made Rollins tap.

Don't be stupid to blame mattel, WWE gives them the approval of what can and cannot be released.
