Always liked Chavo even if his charisma was at a "4" while Eddie's was at a "10".

Chavo only rode on the coattails of Eddie. Without Eddie, Chavo would have been a nobody

Chavo was never anything special, imo. Only time I enjoyed anything he did, was during Los Guerreros and that was only because Eddie was so good.

Maybe it's the stigma associated with cruiserweight wrestlers like chavo/Rey. Even when Rey won the WHC, it seemed out of place and not as a legitimate champ.
Buy yeah I agree, Chavo didn't have that much charisma as compared to Eddie.

Funnily enough the most interesting I've ever found Chavo to be is nowadays in Lucha Underground. I just was never a fan.

He was fine with Eddie but like others said he didn't have the "it" factor or charisma to stand out. He was midcard material at best.

Love Chavo Guerrero, recently met him a week ago and he's such a genuinely nice dude.
Chavo is still fun to watch in the ring but he really did lack that certain charisma that Eddie Guerrero had. I think Chavo knows that, too. He seems very appreciative of his time with Eddie.
I thought Kerwin White was one of the worst gimmicks of all-time, though.

I think the thing that blows my mind is not many people have mentioned his WCW work. From being Eddy's reluctant lackey, to being the crazy dude with a stick horse, to his run with M.I.A....he did some great work in those days. Was his WWE run lackluster? For the most part, absolutely. Did his TNA run absolutely expose him as being someone who needs a good creative team for anyone to even remotely care about him? Absolutely. Are we, as 20-30 somethings chatting about Chavo Guerrero on an internet forum, thus making his name at least recognizable and memorable enough for people to chat about him in their spare time? Clearly.
I am no huge Chavo fan, but there's no denying the guy left a footprint. Pepe!

I feel like Chavo really found himself when they did the turn on Mysterio. I was a fan of that but then they just kind of dropped the ball with him.

Chavo did some excellent heel work late last year and early this year with Lucha Underground, WWE just does not have any clue on how to push anyone that's not American or Samoan.

I marked the out when Chavo won the ECW title, and I've always been a huge fan. Realistically, he would have never been WWE champion, but Chavo should've been a staple of the mid-card.

I just think Eddie had wayyyyyy more TV time than Chavo and connected with the fans better because of this.
Also, around 2003 Chavo got injured I believe, because of this Eddie had a chance to prove himself and that he could shine without him.

Let's ask olympic gold medalist and wrestling machine Kurt Angle his thoughts on the matter...
Kurt Angle: "I have also wrestled Chavo."
Thanks Kurt!
