Great thread, very original, thanks for putting so much effort into this! I always hated the Hasbros when I was a kid, the terrible articulation just made them impossible to play with. I couldn't figure out why they'd make toys like this that you couldn't really have matches with. In my old age, though, I like them better (since now I mostly just display my stuff)! Really? I invested hours and hours with my WWF Hasbro figures. WCW Galoob and WWF LJN, on the other hand, had really limited play value because of the total absence of articulation.

This thread has me feelng nostalgic and anxious at the same time, I hope your threads catch wind to Mattel and they can pump out more Legends/repaints at a faster rate! BTW, the Rikishi/Fatu was a nice touch, I didn't expect that, as well as the Mr. A$$/Smokin' Gunn pic.

So cool. There's lots of Hasbros that I didn't even know were out there. And lots of Elites still that I would like to see, which Hasbro had done. Some I don't think we'll ever get. But there's still plenty to look forward to.

I just read about it on Wikipedia, but I still don't understand what that has to do with his figure being barefooted?

I LOVE the Hasbro line. I have almost all the little buggers except a couple repeats of guys but don't have that rare last series of them except for White Yoko.

I just read about it on Wikipedia, but I still don't understand what that has to do with his figure being barefooted? What I meant by it was, I'm wondering if, like with Benoit, the fact that Snuka is a suspect in a murder trial will keep Mattel from making another Snuka figure. In particular the barefoot one we'd all like to have. It may be totally irrelevant but the thought crossed my mind.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Warrior and Bret Hart have also had a figure in every licensed WWE line also, no? EDIT- I just reread this and think I sound like a douche so Id like to say I'm not trying to rain on the OP's parade haha. I actually love this and his LJN thread! Yeah, I think you're right. For some reason I only thought Hogan. Bret has that Neca Simpsons fig too...I think he may be the one produced by the most companies just by that one edge.

Great pics brother. I love the Hasbro line, they were the best figures to play with as a kid.
As for Piper, when he returned to WWF in 89, he wore red biker shorts, and red knee and elbow pads.

Great thread. The Hasbro representations of these Superstars remain so iconic - I hope Mattel continue to capture their legends in similar attires to the Hasbro figures. A few legends I hope Mattel produce soon: Sid Justice/Psycho Sid Tatanka Power and Glory Repo Man Tugboat/Typhoon The Warlord & The Barbarian The Mountie Dino Bravo Crush Brutus The Barber Beefcake The Nasty Boyz Also they should start producing lots of Ravishing Rick Rude figures - he wore so many amazing attires. Razor Ramon had several colour schemes too I'd buy all of them

This is one of those threads that I'm 100% content with seeing bumped. I could look at this every 3 months or so and it would still drive me to eBay to look at Hasbro figures haha.

Like others have said, terrific thread. Great job by the OP! It's close as to which figures I prefer, but gotta say I favor more of Hasbros! I enjoyed playing with them as a kid but like others have said with the lack of articulations and hard plastic they were better served as show pieces. Even as a kid I enjoyed the cards as much as the figures; Looking at the artwork (big block WWF is/was the best logo ever) and bio-cards were always informative or funny as you could almost hear the wrestlers voice when reading them. I kept all of mine except 1 (IRS) in near mint condition, and a few MOC.
