Doubt it. They have more TV exposure than ROH and more money and industry professionals behind them, but the toy market for wrestling is relatively small. Unless a company like spam is interested in diversifying to the niche markets, it's unlikely.

I would buy them, i went to a taping, and it was an awesome show. I would want Mil Muertes, Prince Puma, Fenix, Pentagon jr., Johnny Mundo, Big Ryck, King Cuerno, Drago, and son of Havoc. i would buy the whole roster if they made it.

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised. The type of niche toys you see in fye is what I'd expect though. They had toys based on the mike Tyson cartoon before they'd even aired one episode so I'd think a company like that might be a possibility.

To me, they must. I know that I've never personally had this experience before but I'm sure that when WCW first signed Hulk Hogan there were wrestling fans who walked into their local KB Toys (cheap pop) saw a Hulk Hogan figure and consequently checked out WCW. Putting action figures on the shelves (which would be next to WWE) would be good exposure because people would either see faces they recognized or at least lucha libre characters that look good. I've always been a fan of lucha libre over any other professional wrestling and will always welcome any action figures based on them.
My only concern would be how they keep the detail (Various tattoos, Drago, etc.) while maintaining an inexpensive line that holds true to the Mexican figures. I'd suggest something like cheaper dollar store figures in the price range of $3 to $5 each, which wouldn't have as much detail (or as many tattoos) and then do something more detail orientated as well. In some ways, King Cuerno needs his entrance gear and if it means paying %20 or $30 for the figure to get it, same with all of Drago's various detail, then I am all for it.

I know thathe Lucha Underground was going to look into merchandising and touring if the show was a success but I don'the think they'll produce figures

Surprised they haven't deleted this thread. After all, these nonexistent, hypothetical figures might be produced by a company in competition with rsc so discussion about them should be forbidden.

I'd buy several Lucha Underground figs, if they had some type of "Elite" articulation and were in some kind of scale to eachother if not Mattel. No "Jakks" RA style, where everyone is the same height with unrealistic bodies. I'd love a line of Lucha Underground in the "TNA Marvel" type of bodies.
I really want: Prince Puma, Dragon, Sexy Star, Mil Muertes, Pentagon Jr. Son of Havok & Mascarita Sagrada.

Even if they're like the LLUSA figures I'd be cool with that.

I sense a company like Jazwares would be the ones to do a Lucha Underground series if that comes to fruition.
