Hey guys, I just purchased a Kobe Bryant from the Jazwares NBA Heroes line. I'm going to use him as an audience member, but for those of you who might be interested in how this line blends in with regular wrestling lines, here he is compared to a JAKKS UFC Alistair Overeem, a Mattel Alberto Del Rio, and a JAKKS Bully Ray. Here he is compared to a Mattel Alberto Del Rio, a Toybiz Chris Sabin and a Jakks Bully Ray. I will use this Jazwares NBA Hero Kobe Bryant as an audience member but wanted to show you guys how this NBA Heroes line compares to normal wrestling figs.

I'd never heard of this line before I came to this thread, and now I have four on their way to my house via Amazon. You're a terrible enabler. I'm not getting my hopes up too high; Jazwares isn't known for putting out quality toys, but I guess I'll just have to wait 'n see how they all turn out in-hand. If all else fails, they could shoot some hoops with MM Harvey Dent or something. How well does the arm cannon thing swap out? Have you tried? If not, I don't blame you...my World War Z figures sit with their original limbs intact because I can't trust the plastic Jazwares uses at all.

Ha ha on being an enabler. I didn't swap the arm for the cannon because it doesn't just pop right off, you prob have to dip it in warm water. There are no instructions, so I'm sure many little kids will just break the arms off trying to swap with the cannon. I'll prob pick up Blake Griffin, but again these will be used in my audience.

I hope that audience member is a guy in a Kobe Bryant jersey and not Kobe himself, because he would tower over most wrestlers. Also, can those NBA Heroes jerseys fit on a RA John Cena figure?

They were interesting until I saw the silver surfer looking Lebron...Id rather have them looking like normal people. Id love to see something like this with a Legends line with guys like Jordan, Magic, Bird etc

Thanks for sharing. I was wondering how they fit as the articulation was similar. Bit small but perfect for crowd. A strange line of figures if you ask me. NBA greats as super heros.

Got my set of four in the mail yesterday. I don't know how to judge the scale fairly, since (I'm assuming) they're supposed to be pretty tall and the only figures I have that they seem to look right with are my aforementioned World War Z figures, and neither of which size up with any of the other lines I've collected over the years. Shortly after typing that response, I happened across an arena meant for the NBA Heroes line, so I hopped on that and am currently waiting for it to arrive...and since it's only half of a court, I figured buying another half to have a full one would be a good idea, so I ordered that just a few minutes ago. The cannon gimmick thing itself works pretty well, with the basketball popping out of the end when the barrel is squeezed, but I've yet to try popping an arm off to swap them out, so I may order a duplicate to try it with first so I don't end up ruining a figure. The likeness is typical Jazwares fare, i.e. not very good. Griffin looks like a wad of gum dipped in motor oil...I was expecting popcorn hair, silly me. I suppose they'd work well for audience members, but it'd be easier on your wallet to make a trek to your local discount store and rummaging through the selection of figures from toy lines gone bust, rather than spending fifteen bucks a pop for these.

Orioles, I don't have a RA Cena, but these NBA figs r much smaller than JAKKS, so I doubt the jersey will fit. I have to pop Kobe's head off just to get his jersey off.
Hey Roman, I'll post a pic of Batista with the B-Ball in a few hours and I paid $12.99 at a small TRU. My main TRU might be a dollar or two cheaper. But for audience members, these are not cost effective because they're much smaller than Mattel's and JAKKS.
I'll post a pic of my audience in a few hrs too. Sry for the delay in response, but I'll try to get new pics up in a bit.

I got my arena set in the mail yesterday...Jazwares meant well, but it could've been a tad better. The cardbacking is a nice size, but they're made of such thin paper, chances are they wouldn't last long with someone under the age of 12 handling it. The court floor also suffers from this (and doesn't fit into the base too well, even when the instructions say it's supposed to "snap" into the base...when it's a little too narrow to reach both sides). I'm thinking ordering another to serve as the other half of the court was a bad idea in hindsight, but oh well.
