Episode 23: ECW Anarchy Rulz ’14 (9/8/14)
Show starts with a taped segment showing the nWo arriving to the arena in two limousines. Shane McMahon is waiting for them accompanied by a half dozen police men. After a brief verbal confrontation, Shane takes the various ECW championship belts from the nWo so he can return them to the true champions. Hulk promises that tonight the nWo will earn their money by destroying ECW. Shane promises that ECW will stand tall and run the nWo out of ECW.
A second taped segment shows Justin Credible in the parking lot trying to bargain with Sid Vicious and Vader. He is telling them that once he wins his match tonight he will pay them everything he owes them. When he beats Kurt Angle, not only will he get an iron clad contract but he will also be the new ECW World Heavyweight Champion. That means he will be the biggest impact player in ECW and will be able to get whatever he wants. Sid and Vader are not buying any of it and chase Justin into the building but get stopped by security. They continue to shout at Justin that tonight he will either pay them or they will make him pay.
In the ring: Joey Styles welcomes the crowd to ECW Anarchy Rulz ’14: Extreme Warfare. Tonight is the night ECW fights for its very existence against the nWo mercenaries. Tonight is the night Justin Credible has to beat the world champion or he must leave ECW. Tonight is the night grudges will be settled. Tonight is the night for ANARCHY RULZ!
1) 6 man elimination tag match: Seth Rollins/Sabu/Jerry Lynn vs E.G.O. (Austin Aries/Christopher Daniels/Kazarian)
E.G.O. comes to the ring first with appletinis in hand. They offer drinks to fans in the front row but instead throw the drinks in the fans faces. Seth, Sabu, and Jerry don’t wait for their introduction. They run out to the ring and attack E.G.O. Sabu does a triple jump somersault splash jumping from a chair onto the announcers table and then onto Christopher Daniels. Jerry Lynn power bombs Kazarian onto the ring apron, then hits another power bomb onto the ring steps. Seth Rollins drags Austin Aries into the ring and hits him with a series of kicks, then whips him into the ropes for a vicious clothesline.
The ref signals for the bell and the match is officially started, but Sabu and Daniels are no where near the ring. Sabu has chased Daniels to the entrance stage with a steel chair. Daniels climbs up to the top of the entrance stage and is fending off Sabu with the “E” from the “ECW” sign.
Back in the ring, Seth continues to dominate Aries. Kazarian sneaks around the outside of the ring and attacks Jerry Lynn from behind. Kaz has Jerry stunned long enough to set up a table and put Jerry on top of it. Kaz signals to Daniels who jumps off the top of the entrance stage over Sabu and onto Jerry through the table. Kaz goes to help Daniels get up. Captain Lou hands a chair to Sabu who leaps off the stage and hits a sloppy but effective arabian face buster to Kaz and Daniels. EMTs come out and check on Sabu, Lynn, Daniels, and Kazarian. They motion for stretchers and indicate to the ref that none of the four can continue the match.
In the ring, the match continues. Austin Aries has changed the momentum of the match with a reversal of a superplex into a tornado DDT. He brings a ladder into the ring and it looks like he is setting up for a brain buster off the top of the ladder. Seth blocks the move and the two exchange punches. Seth gets the advantage and sends Aries flying off the ladder. He looks like he is setting up for a 450 splash, but Aries gets up and pushes the ladder so that it falls back into the corner. Seth lands on the top turnbuckle and maintains his balance. He pushes the ladder back onto Aries sending him crashing to the mat again. Seth flies off the turnbuckle to hit a curb stomb to the ladder crushing Aries underneath. Seth covers both the ladder and Aries. 1…2…3!
Seth Rollins wins the 6 man elimination tag match at 10:43.
Joey Styles: Oh My God! If that is just the first match then tonight is going to be insane. It really is Anarchy Rulz tonight! Will anybody survive?
Taz is shown leaving the locker of the Triple Threat. Shane Douglas turns to Bam Bam Bigelow, Rhino, Lance Storm, and Velvet Sky. “So we are all agreed. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. That means we will watch Taz’s back tonight. The Nation will not interfere in this match.” The door to the room was still open and The Nation is seen on the other side. Ron Simmons looks right at Shane Douglas and says “Damn! Are we gonna have to beat your asses again tonight? Only a fool sticks their nose in the Nations business and right now I’m looking at a room full of fools. Damn!”
2) FTW Championship: Samoa Joe (c) vs Taz
Taz is standing in the ring legs spread and arms crossed looking even more pissed than usual. Samoa Joe is accompanied to the ring by the Nation (Ron Simmons, Bobby Lashley, and Ezekiel Jackson). Joe gets into the ring and hands the FTW belt to the ref. The ref goes to signal for the bell, but is interrupted. The Triple Threat (Shane Douglas, Bam Bam Bigelow, Rhino, Lance Storm, and Velvet Sky) is on the entrance stage. “Don’t start the match just yet. Everybody knows I don’t like Taz and he sure as hell doesn’t like me. But tonight I’m going to let that slide because both of us hate the Nation more than we hate each other. Take ‘em out!!!”
The Triple Threat rush to the ring and attack the Nation. Taz and Joe go at each other in the ring. The ref shrugs his shoulders and calls for the bell to be rung so the FTW championship match is underway. The Nation is outnumbered 5 to 3 outside the ring and despite some power moves by Simmons and Lashley, they are finally forced back to the locker room by the Triple Threat.
In the ring, Taz and Joe exchange punches and kicks. Taz whips Joe into the corner and then charges in but Joe catches him and slams him to the mat. Joe hits Taz with a series of suplexes. Joe goes for the rear naked choke but Taz gets to the ropes. Joe hits Taz with the muscle buster and goes for a pin but Taz kicks out. Joe hits Taz with more kicks ending with a massive insiguri that sends Taz face first to the mat. Joe goes for another pin but Taz kicks out.
Joe goes the floor and picks up a chair. Taz rolls out to the floor and avoids a chair shot from Joe. He whips him headfirst into the ring post, then takes the chair from Joe and hits him with it several times. Taz whips Joe into the ring steps next. Taz sets up the bottom half of the ring steps and suplexes Joe onto them. Taz grabs a water bottle from the announcers table and takes a swing. Then he sprays water into Joe’s face. This works against Taz as the water seems to revive Joe. Joe hits Taz with a low blow. Joe grabs the title belt off the table and hits Taz with it multiple times. Joe rolls Taz back into the ring and puts him in the rear naked choke. Taz tries to fight it but is forced to submit. Samoa Joe wins and retains the FTW belt!
Samoa Joe retains the FTW Championship by submission at 8:55.
Joey Styles: Samoa Joe wins the match but I would not want to be him right now. Taz is not going to be happy how he lost that match and I’m sure he will find some way to take it out on Samoa Joe later.
3) ECW Tag Team Championship: Tajiri/Masato Tanaka (c) vs the Briscoes (Mark and Jay)
Both teams make their way to the ring and in a show of respect, they shake hands before the match starts. The match is a fast paced and high impact match that spills out of the ring several times with frequent tags by both teams for the first ten minutes. Thanks to a vicious spinning forearm smash by Tanaka, Tajiri and Tanaka are able to isolate Mark Briscoe and work him over for a long time. They try several pin attempts but he kicks out each time. Mark finally gets the hot tag to Jay who goes wild with redneck kung fu on Tajiri followed by the froggy bo. He goes for the pin but Tajiri kicks out. Tajiri tags in Tanaka who backs Jay into the corner with chops and kicks. Tajiri throws several chairs into the ring and Tanaka hits Jay with the tornado DDT onto the pile of chairs. He goes for a pin but Mark makes the save. Tajiri jumps into the ring and puts Mark into the tarantula. Jay grabs a chair and hits Tanaka several times to no effect. Tanaka whips Jay into Mark stunning both but also sending Tajiri to the floor. Jay and Mark double team Tanaka leading to a Jay driller onto a steel chair. Jay goes for a pin but Tanaka kicks out. Mark picks Tanaka up on his shudders and Jay jumps off the top turnbuckle and hits the doomsday device. Jay goes for the cover. Tajiri tries to make a save but Mark stops him. 1…2…3! New Tag Team Champions! The Briscoes win!
Jay and Mark Briscoe win by pinfall at 17:19 to win the ECW Tag Team Championships.
Joey Styles: New tag team champions! Demboys from Sandy Hook arrived in ECW just a month or so ago and they are now on top of the tag team division. They have been very impressive so far. Up next is a match that we have almost seen three times already but each time the nWo interfered and we didn’t get a winner. One of these two men should be wrestling Kurt Angle tonight for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship, but instead they are facing each other. This time the match will be inside a steel cage to insure that the nWo doesn’t screw us out of a winner again.
4) #1 Contender Steel Cage Match: CM Punk vs AJ Styles
CM Punk is accompanied by AJ Lee and Luke Gallows but he sends Luke back to the locker room. AJ Styles comes to the ring. The cage is in place and the match begins.
Joey Styles: Just a reminder for all you fans, in ECW you can only win a cage match by pinfall or submission. Escaping the cage is not an option here.
The match starts out even with some technical mat wrestling. Both men try some big moves early but they are countered or reversed. Frustration builds up causing both men to get more aggressive and use the cage as a weapon. Punk gets the first advantage whipping Styles into the cage several times and opening up a cut on Styles’ head. Styles reverses another whip attempt and sends Punk into the cage. Styles rams Punk’s head into the cage multiple times until Punk is busted open too. AJ Lee looks on in distress. Styles hits a top rope backflip into a reverse neck breaker. He goes for a pin but Punk kicks out. Styles goes for the Styles Clash but Punk reverses it and smashes Styles’ face into the mat. Punk whips Styles into the turnbuckle and hits a high knee/clothesline combo. Punk goes for a cover but Styles kicks out. Styles hits a Pele kick and then puts Punk into the calf killer. Punk fights it and drags himself to the cage door. AJ Lee has the door open and pulls Punk halfway out the door. Styles releases the hold and drops several elbows to Punks’ back. Punk is half in and half out of the door. Styles climbs up and over the cage and swings down kicking the cage door into Punk’s head. Punk falls back into the center of the ring.
Styles stands on top of the cage and tries the Spiral Tap but Punk rolls out of the way. AJ Lee slides a chair to Punk and closes the cage door. Punk climbs to the top of the cage with the chair. Styles is standing groggily when Punk flies off the cage and hits an elbow drop with the chair to Styles. Punk goes for the cover but Styles just barely kicks out. Punk locks in the anaconda vice. Styles submits!
CM Punk wins by submission at 13:27 and is the #1 contender to the ECW World Heavyweight Championship.
Joey Styles: Finally we have a winner between these two and CM Punk is now the official #1 contender. That match was certainly worth the wait for our fans but I’m sure Punk would rather be celebrating a win over Kurt Angle for the title. Now we get to the real serious business of the night. Two months ago the nWo invaded ECW with a clear mission: They were being paid to destroy ECW. We have seen them repeatedly attack ECW wrestlers, steal our title belts, and disrespect us in every way possible. Shane McMahon has promised that it all ends tonight at Anarchy Rulz. The Dudleys are up next with a chance to take a big bite out of the nWo when they face the Outsiders.
5) Outsiders (Kevin Nash/Scott Hall) w/ Syxx vs the Dudleys w/ Stacey Keibler
There is nothing technical or pretty about this match. The Dudleys came out first and didn’t wait for the Outsiders to get close to the ring before they attacked them on the entrance ramp. The Dudleys had an early advantage and used it to throw Hall and Nash into the security barriers and beat them with chairs. Spike went after Syxx and hit him with an acid drop off the security barriers. Stacey came over and kicked Syxx in the crotch several times, then spit in has face. Spike dragged Syxx to the nearest ring post where Stacey pulled out a pair of handcuffs and they cuffed Syxx to the ring post.
Bubba Ray and Devon had dragged Nash and Hall into the ring so the match could “officially” start. Devon worked on Scott Hall hitting him with lots of punches and then a brutal clothesline. Bubba Ray tagged in and hit a chokeslam to Hall. He grabbed Hall’s legs and set him up for the Wassup diving head butt. Nash came in and kicked Bubba in the back of his head. Bubba fell forward and Devon hit Bubba with the head butt instead of Hall. All four men fought in the ring until Nash clotheslined Bubba over the top rope. Bubba grabbed Nash’s leg and pulled him under the bottom rope and outside the ring too. They exchanged punches, then Nash went to whip Bubba into the ring steps. Syxx was still hand cuffed and Bubba went crashing into him. Syxx went down absorbing most of the impact so Bubba turned back to Nash. Nash picked him up and power bombed him through the announcers table.
Nash and Hall double teamed Devon and he was taking a beating. It was all power moves for a few minutes until Devon could barely stand. Nash turned his attention to trying to free Syxx. Hall was about to hit Devon with the Razor’s Edge when Stacey got into the ring. She did a sexy dance and teased taking off her top. Hall dropped Devon and came towards Stacey. When he got close enough, Spike slid into the ring behind him and got on all fours. Stacey shoved Hall and he fell backwards. Spike grabbed Hall’s legs and held them up. Stacey looked at Spike, yelled “Wassup!”, and kicked Hall in the crotch.
She moved out of the way and Devon came flying in with a head butt. Nash tried to interfere but Devon just pointed behind him. Nash looked confused and turned around to see a smiling, bloody Bubba Ray with a chair. Bubba hit Nash in the head knocking him to his knees. He hit at least a half dozen more chair shots until Nash was almost unconscious. Bubba yelled “Get the tables!”
In quick order, Nash ate a 3D through a table. Then they dragged Hall back into the ring and hit him with a 3D through a table. Then they unlocked Syxx and dragged him into the ring. Bubba Ray power bombed Syxx from the top rope through a flaming table. The Dudleys lined up Nash, Hall, and Syxx in the middle of the ring and spray painted “ECW” on them.
Dudleys win by tables at 15:38.
Joey Styles: I didn’t see any pinfalls or submissions but I think we all know who won that match. The Dudleys and ECW have won the first battle of the night with the nWo! And now I am being told something is happening in the locker room.
Locker room: The Eliminators (Saturn/Droz) are seen standing over the bodies of Abyss and Stevie Richards. “Did you forget about us? Did you think you were done with us? No way! We are the Eliminators and we are back to take care of business!” Raven is off to the side and doesn’t look very concerned about his flock.
6) ECW TV Championship: Rob Van Dam (c) vs Raven
RVD opens the match all business. He takes the fight to Raven with his usual kicks, rolling thunder, and the splitter legged moonsault. Raven tries to escape outside the ring but RVD flies over the top rope with a somersault splash and then the corkscrew leg drop. RVD drags Raven back into the ring and continues to work him over. Captain Lou throws a chair to RVD. RVD tosses the chair to Raven and goes for the Van Daminator but Raven sidesteps the kick. He hits RVD with the chair and knocks him down. Raven sets the chair up in the ring. He hits RVD with a DDT. Then he whips RVD into the ropes and goes for the drop toe hold into the steel chair. RVD avoids the move and uses the chair to launch into a triple jump moonsault. He goes for a cover but Raven kicks out. RVD leaps off the ropes with a flying sidekick to knock Raven down again. He grabs the chair and jumps onto the top turnbuckle. RVD goes flying for a five star frog splash with the steel chair onto Raven. RVD covers Raven. 1…2…3! RVD wins!
Rob Van Dam wins by pinfall at 7:41 to retain the ECW TV Championship.
Joey Styles: Wow! I have never seen a more determined Rob Van Dam. He dominated Raven from start to finish. After that match, who wants to be next to face RVD for the TV title? Or maybe RVD will go after the world heavyweight championship?
7) ECW Legends Championship: Stone Cold Steve Austin (c) vs Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig
Hennig takes his time getting ready for the match while Austin stalks around the ring looking like he’s ready to explode. Hennig finally gets into the ring and Austin jumps on him with punches driving him into the corner. Austin hits a flurry of kicks forcing Hennig down to the mat. Austin picks him up and suplexes him. Austin drops a forearm to the head from the second rope. Austin again picks up Hennig and whips him into the ropes for a Lou Thesz press but Hennig reverses into a sleeper hold. Austin breaks the hold by dropping down for a jawbreaker. He whips Hennig into the ropes and hits the Lou Thesz press followed by a lot of punches. Hennig hits Austin with a head butt and reverses their positions. He hits Austin with a bunch of punches, then picks him and whips him into the ropes into a dropkick. Hennig puts Austin into an abdominal stretch. Austin struggles and eventually reverses, flipping Hennig over into an arm bar. Hennig reverses and then hits Austin with a flying head scissor takedown followed by an elbow drop. Hennig goes to whip Austin into the corner but it is reversed and Hennig slams into the turnbuckles. Austin lifts Hennig onto the top turnbuckle and then hits a superplex. He goes for a cover but Hennig kicks out. Hennig rolls out of the ring but Austin follows. They fight around ringside. Hennig sends Austin headfirst into the ring post. Hennig drops Austin crotch first onto the security barriers followed by a dropkick that sends Austin into the crowd. A fan hands Austin his sign, which is a not so cleverly disguised stop sign. Austin hits Hennig over the head with the stop sign and tosses the sign and Hennig into the ring.
Austin goes to suplex Hennig but Hennig reverses it into a DDT onto the stop sign. Austin is busted open and starts to bleed. Hennig tries to piledrive Austin onto the stop sign but Austin reverses it into a back body drop. Austin bounces off the ropes and hits a clothesline. Austin puts Hennig into the cobra clutch submission. Hennig maneuvers himself near the corner, gets his feet onto the top turnbuckle and flips back pinning Austin’s shoulders forcing him to break the hold. Both men exchange punches in the middle of the ring. Hennig goes for the perfect plex. Austin blocks it and counters with a kick to the stomach. Austin hits the stunner. He covers Hennig. 1…2…3! Austin wins!
Steve Austin wins by pinfall at 15:04 to retain the ECW Legends Championship.
Joey Styles: Congratulations to the still Legends Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin. While that match was happening, there was more happening backstage.
Taped footage from a few minutes earlier: The Dudleys are dragging the beaten up bodies of Nash, Hall, and Syxx out of the locker room and into the parking lot. The rest of the nWo watches on, but a dozen or so ECW wrestlers form a line keeping them from attacking the Dudleys. The Dudleys toss Nash, Hall, and Syxx into a nWo limousine and slam the door. They spray paint ECW on the limo. “Get your asses out of here and don’t ever come back! If we see you again we won’t stop at putting you through tables. We’ll break out the barb wire and hurt you so bad your own mothers won’t recognize you!” The limo drives away and the Dudleys are escorted by the ECW wrestlers back into the locker room.
Joey Styles: That is perfect. Send those nWo thugs back to whatever hole they crawled out of. I just hope Team ECW gives the rest of the nWo similar treatment later tonight. But first, its time for Justin Credible to pay the piper. He has been crying for months about how unfairly he has been treated in ECW. He is the one who first opened the doors and let the nWo into ECW arenas. He is the one who hired Sid Vicious and Vader to be the new Impact Players. He is a desperate piece of scum who now has one chance left to save his ECW career. If he can beat Kurt Angle, he will both win the ECW World Heavyweight Champion and get an iron clad contract from Shane McMahon. If he loses, then he is done. No contract, no championship, no job, no more Justin Credible. Excuse me if I’m not being impartial but I want Kurt to kick his ass.
8) ECW World Heavyweight Championship: Kurt Angle (c) vs Justin Credible w/ special referee Shane McMahon
Shane McMahon comes out to the ring first in referee gear. Kurt Angle comes out next with Brooke Tessmacher at his side. Justin Credible comes out last with Molly Holly who is carrying a pair of kendo sticks.
Shane: “You should know right now that I’m not going to tolerate any BS from you. This is one extreme match that will go by the rules. You so much as look at those kendo sticks and I will disqualify you which means you are out of a job.”
Justin: “You don’t realize it yet but by the end of this night I’m going to make you do exactly what I want. You will raise my hand in victory, give me the ECW WHC belt and give me that iron clad contract which means I can and will do whatever I want to you and your precious ECW.”
Kurt: “Enough of this talk. Its time to fight! Ring the bell Shane so I can start kicking some ass.”
Shane calls for the bell. Justin immediately slides out of the ring and paces around outside. Shane starts a ten count. Justin gets back into the ring at nine. Kurt charges at him but Justin slides out of the ring again. Justin gets back in at nine. Kurt gets a hold of him whips him into the corner. Kurt delivers a barrage of punches and chops. Credible grabs Kurt’s head and drops down to the matt, driving Kurt face first into the turnbuckle. He dropkicks Kurt from behind into the turnbuckles again. Justin whips Kurt across the ring and hits a clothesline. Justin hits a leg drop. Kurt grabs Justin’s leg and goes for the ankle lock. He is too close to the ropes and Molly reaches under the ropes to grab Kurt. Brooke jumps Molly from behind. Molly and Brooke fight outside the ring. Kurt exits the ring to break up the cat fight. Justin stays in the ring. Molly drags Brooke back up the entrance ramp to the stage with Kurt following close behind. Justin is grabbing Shane and yelling at him to start a ten count for Kurt. Shane refuses and warns Justin that if he touches him again he will DQ Justin.
Justin jumps out of the ring and runs up the ramp to attack Kurt from behind. The two fight back to ringside where they notice Shane has been counting and is up to seven. Kurt looks worried but Shane lets him know the count is just for Justin. Justin takes advantage of the momentary distraction and whips Kurt into the ring steps. Justin jumps back into the ring just in time to avoid being counted out. Kurt gets back into the ring but Justin starts kicking him and has him down. He whips Kurt into the ropes and hits a drop toe hold. Then Justin slaps the ankle lock onto Kurt. Kurt immediately rolls to his back and kicks Justin into the corner. Justin jumps up to the top rope to go for a high flying move but Kurt runs over, climbs the turnbuckles and hits an overhead superplex. Kurt picks Justin up and hits a a series of german suplexes. Things look bad for Justin so he slides out of the ring again.
Kurt follows Justin to the floor. Shane starts to count but Kurt tells him to stop, that he doesn’t want to win that way. Kurt and Justin fight around the ring. Kurt tries to suplex Justin but he blocks it and whips Kurt into ring steps. Justin slams Kurt’s head repeatedly into the ring steps. Molly tries to hand a kendo stick to Justin but Shane grabs it from her. Brooke again jumps Molly and they start to fight again. Shane tries to separate the two women. Justin places Kurt’s head between the ring steps and the ring post. Justin gets a running start and hits a vicious dropkick to the steps. Kurt slumps to the floor. Kurt has been busted open and is bleeding profusely. Justin rolls Kurt back into the ring, grabs Shane and forces him back into the ring, and then gets into the ring himself. Shane checks on Kurt but Justin grabs Kurt and throws him into the corner where he climbs up to the top turnbuckle and hits Kurt on his cut head while the crowd counts to ten. Justin taunts the crowd and celebrates, but Kurt lifts Justin up and power bombs him. Kurt climbs to the top turnbuckle and hits a moonsault onto Justin. Kurt is still dazed and can’t go for the pin. Justin is also dazed and just lies there.
Kurt recovers enough to lock on the ankle lock in the middle of the ring. Justin is in serious trouble and looks like he could tap at any moment. Kurt keeps cranking the ankle lock. Shane repeatedly asks Justin if he submits but somehow Justin holds out.
Sid Vicious and Vader appear on the entrance stage and head to the ring shoving Molly and Brooke to the side. Sid and Vader climb up to the ring apron where Shane heads them off. Shane can be heard saying “I know you two are here to kick Justin’s ass. I’m begging you to wait. Let Kurt finish this and then you can have whatever is left over.” Kurt releases the ankle lock and also approaches Sid and Vader. He asks them to back off until Kurt can finish off Justin, then they can have whats left. Brooke is at ringside also pleading Sid and Vader to back off and let the match continue.
Molly has made her way to the opposite side of the ring and passes a kendo stick to Justin. Justin takes it and gets behind the distracted Angle. He breaks it in half over Kurts’ head. Shane turns around to see Justin pick up Kurt and hit the spinning tombstone piledriver. Justin covers Kurt for the pin. Shane looks shocked. Molly jumps into the ring and pulls Shane down to the mat and moves his arm for the one count. A reluctant Shane checks that Kurt’s shoulders are down, then reluctantly counts 1.2…3! Justin Credible wins and is the new ECW World Heavyweight Champion!
Justin Credible wins by pinfall at 17:26 and wins the ECW World Heavyweight Championship and an iron clad contract.
Brooke slides in to check on Kurt but Molly attacks her. A badly beaten but victorious Justin gets right in Shane’s face. “I told you! Now raise my hand, give my iron clad contract, and celebrate the new and best ever ECW Champion!” Shane slaps Justin. Justin slaps him back. Shane fires Justin on the spot. Justin responds “You can’t do that! I have an iron clad contract! That means no fines, no suspensions, no firings! Eat it McMahon! I win!”
Shane completely loses it until he glances around and sees Sid and Vader at ringside still looking angrily at Justin. He goes over to them. “You want Justin Credible? I will give you the same iron clad contract he just got if you go destroy him right now!” Sid and Vader look at each other, smile, quickly shake Shane’s hand, and head towards a now quite scared Justin Credible. Molly tries to get between Sid, Vader, and Justin but they push her out of the way. Shane follows behind Sid and Vader to get a close-up view.
As they get to Justin, he suddenly smiles and laughs. Sid and Vader turn to Shane. Vader hits Shane with a belly to belly suplex. Sid picks Shane up and power bombs him. Vader hits Shane with a Vader splash from the second rope. Justin stands over Shane with his ECW WHC belt and a mic. “I warned you Shane! I said you would give me everything I want and that I would run ECW by the end of the night. And now, all thanks to you, the new Impact Players have iron clad contracts and the ECW World Heavyweight Championship! The technical term for what I did is that I made you my bitch!”
Joey Styles: No f’n way! That sneaky bastard! Justin Credible has just played Shane McMahon. That smug SOB is right. With iron clad contracts the Impact Players may run wild through ECW. But will there be an ECW to run through if the nWo win the Extreme Warfare match coming up next.
9) Extreme Warfare Elimination Match: ECW (Tommy Dreamer/Sandman/Terry Funk/Cactus Jack) vs nWo (Hollywood Hogan/Randy Savage/Scott Steiner/Buff Bagwell)
This isn’t match. This is an all out brawl. All eight men fight each other in and out of the ring. It is almost impossible to follow all the action but high points include Scott Steiner delivering a Frankensteiner to Tommy Dreamer, Randy Savage jumping off the top turnbuckle to take out Sandman and Terry Funk on the floor, Cactus Jack putting the mandible claw on Hollywood Hogan, and Terry Funk clearing the ring by putting a ladder over his head and spinning around multiple times hitting all of the nWo members with it.
The first elimination occurs after Cactus Jack delivers a cactus elbow drop off the ring apron to Bagwell on the floor. Cactus pinned Bagwell (pins count anywhere in this match) and the ECW went up four to three.
The second elimination came when Sandman was attacking Savage with a kendo stick. Steiner came from behind and hit Sandman with a devastating belly to back overhead suplex. Steiner got the pin on Sandman.
The third elimination came after Savage hit Dreamer with the top rope elbow drop. Hogan followed it with the big leg drop and got the pin. nWo is now up 3-2.
Things broke down after Dreamer’s elimination. Mr. Perfect came out in an nWo t-shirt along with Dennis Rodman and Bagwell. The nWo teamed up to work on Cactus Jack and Terry Funk. It looked like ECW would be easy picking when familiar music hit…New Jack was back and he brought two trash cans full of weapons to the ring. Dreamer and Sandman joined him and they used the weapons to clear the ring.
Dreamer, Sandman, Funk, Cactus, and New Jack stood in the ring with their weapons while Hogan, Savage, Steiner, Bagwell, Hennig, and Rodman circled the ring. After a tense minute or two, the nWo charged the ring led by Steiner who threw the ring steps into the ring. This created an opening and the nWo made it into the ring where they could grab some of the extra weapons. A whole new hardcore extreme warfare match started and after a few minutes it became obvious that the ECW stars were better suited to a weapons match.
Highlights included: New Jack hitting a street sign placed over Steiner’s crotch with a hockey stick. Cactus Jack hit Hennig with a piledriver onto a board covered in barbwire. Terry Funk beat the hell out Randy Savage with a branding iron. Dreamer DDT’d Bagwell and Rodman onto steel chairs. Sandman used a ladder in multiple ways to beat up and chase Hogan out of the ring.
It took a few minutes but the ECW wrestlers managed to severely beat up all of the nWo except for Hogan. Team ECW chased all the other nWo members out of the ring and into the crowd. Once into the crowd, other ECW wrestlers led by CM Punk jumped the nWo and continued the beatdown. The nWo were all dragged back into the locker room and then into the parking lot where they were shoved into the second nWo limousine and sent packing.
Hogan had managed to elude the ECW stars and was standing alone in the ring. He started to get cocky and shouted how his being the last man standing in the ring means the nWo had won!
The lights went out and a spotlight shone on the entrance ramp. Paul Heyman appeared in a wheelchair with his head bandaged. “Hogan you piece of crap! You tried to take me out but you didn’t finish the job. I’m back and I have one last very big surprise for you tonight!”
The lights go back up and Brock Lesnar is in the ring behind Hogan! Brock attacks Hogan delivering punches and kicks. Hogan tries to run but Brock uses an MMA double leg takedown to get him to the mat. Brock hits Hogan with multiple hard elbows until Hogan is bleeding all over the place. While the attack has been going on the steel cage from the Punk/Styles match is lowered back into position around the ring.
Hogan tries to “Hulk up” and counter Brock but his offense is weak and ineffective. Brock lifts him up for an F5. Brock picks Hogan up and hits another F5. Heyman gets out of his wheelchair, grabs a barb wire baseball bat, and makes his way into the cage. Brock holds Hogan while Heyman gets right in his face.
Heyman: “Now you son of a bitch you will pay for what you did and tried to do. You came here to hurt me and destroy ECW. But you failed. I survived and came back stronger. The ECW stars banded together and beat the hell out of your nWo. And my very good friend Brock Lesnar is going to tear you into little pieces.”
Heyman shows Hogan the barb wire baseball bat. “Remember this? This is the same weapon you used to send me to the hospital. I’m going to give this bat to Brock so he can shove it up your ass and turn you into a giant sunburnt popsicle if you don’t do two things.”
Heyman scrapes the bat across Hogan’s face causing his cuts to open up and bleed even more. Hogan can’t escape Brock and quietly pleads with Heyman. “What…what do you want?”
Heyman: “I want you and your nWo thugs to go away and never come back. You’re done here.”
Hogan: “Okay, we’ll leave. Its not worth the money to go through this. You’re all insane.”
Heyman: “Second, I want to know who paid you to destroy ECW? Give me a name and maybe I won’t ask Brock turn you into a cripple.”
Hogan: “No…I can’t tell you…”
Heyman: “Brock, break his arm.”
Brock puts a kimura on Hogan and starts to crank up the pressure.
Hogan: “Stop. I’ll tell you. It was HHH. It was Stephanie McMahon. It was the Authority.”
Heryman: “Why am I not surprised? Take this message back to them. ECW is my house! Do you hear me? MY HOUSE! The Authority is not the spam wolf an they can huff and puff until they are blue in the face. They will not blow my house down! As for you and your nWo thugs, you are not welcome here! NOW GET THE HELL OUT OF MY HOUSE!”
Heyman slaps Hogan several times. He signals to Brock. Brock cranks harder on the kimura until it appears he breaks Hogan’s arm. Brock picks up Hogan and throws him into the steel cage, then picks him up again and hits an F5 onto the barbwire bat.
Brock and Heyman stand over Hogan while the steel cage is raised back up. Heyman speaks one more time. “Triple H. Stephanie McMahon. The Authority. You have the whole wrestling world in your hands yet you are scared of ECW. You paid the nWo to destroy us? Your plan failed. You will have to deal with ECW. We are here to stay!”
Joey Styles: What a night! The bad news is that Justin Credible is the new ECW World Heavyweight Champion. The good news is that the nWo has been run out of ECW! Anarchy ruled at Anarchy Rulz ’14!
Fade to black.
