Yeah honestly I doubt there's that many damaged boxes to accommodate for the amount of stock they have on the loose figure page. Back when they sold damaged package figures they would always go fast because there was only 1 or 2 of them and a lot of the stuff on the loose figures page lasts a long while. I bought a loose complete RSC Stone Cold that I combined with other pre-order items and eventually when I got them my Stone Cold didn't come with the belts like they were currently selling the figure as but I emailed them because when I purchased it it was pictured with two belts and they sent them to me. Not sure if they just forgot to pack them or if they had extras but I'm glad I got what I ordered.

Yes, this is what I have always thought. Loose figures are like a sale. Think about it for a sec. If you see a figure that you want on Ringside, there is a chance you will buy it. Now if the figure is open, costs less, and costs less to ship, then you are more likely to buy from them. PLUS maybe now that you know they sell loose figures, you'll be more likely to check out the website, and possibly buy more items from them. It's the same idea behind a store putting a sale on. If a store advertises hotdogs on sale, then you're more likely to go to that store. Once in the store you'll pick up the Hotdogs and possibly you'll spend on Buns, Ketchup, Mustard, and so on. Im sure it's the same principle at Ringside. Loose figures are a tool used to get you to visit the site, and ship more. I love the loose figures BTW. You've got me convinced. And yes, I love the loose figs also as I've purchased a few. Cheapest available elite Booker T that came in excellent condition. And there's some great figs they have listed $10 or less. Hell of a selection I love ringside for a few reasons. First and foremost I trust them. Ringside is a business so that means the toys are in a warehouse, stored properly. So if you buy a new figure in package or a loose figure you know it came from a business, not someone's home. Figures that come from someone's home can either be nice, or can be a let down. Figures from a home can sometimes be in worse shape then the seller let on. And then the convenience, I know Ringside will have products so I can buy from them and avoid having to hunt for figures in store. Or as is often the case ringside will have figures that have been out of retail stores for a while.

I don't think so many of the loose figures are figures that were out when we were hit with the hurricane last year. I am pretty sure they were hit very hard so I can see lots of their older product packaging ruined by water damage.

Well actually Ringside was buying product from the classifieds a year or so ago so I wouldn't be surprised if some of the stuff on the loose figures page came from collectors homes and I'm assuming the rest is stuff they buy on the second market such as eBay because I did have to make a few part switches on some stuff I got due to scuffs and paint wear and also yellowing on white paint apps.

some are also figures that were removed from the package for RSC purposes.like the loose figure pics you see when ordering something, and all the videos they post.

I'm assuming they're used ones that they bought off people. I bought a loose Bam Bam off there a couple weeks ago and the thing came covered in scratches. I won't be buying anymore loose from them...

Yeah I've had a similar experience with ordering loose basic figures from RSC. The Best of 2012 Khali I got was literally marked up in black scuffs. I used Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to get rid of them all. Looks brand new. Their elite figures are in way better condition though. I'll be more cautious for my next order.

I'm thinking it's because the figures were reviewed loose and that they were used by Ringside's videos or pictures.

It'd be nice if they sent a note saying where the figure came from. "Thank you for order this figure. This figure was used in this video review. Enjoy!"

I've always had great experiences ordering loose figures from RSC until my most recent order. Two of the figures ordered were jacked up. Usually they figures are perfect. Of course, I was blown off when I pointed it out to them. Overall, the figures are generally pretty good loose from RSC.

I'm wondering if the RSC figure tree can produce some classic tag titles.......
