I just purchased the Loose Elite 16 CM Punk they had up on Ringside, and I have purchased the Loose SCSA Exclusive in the past. My SCSA was and still is perfect. I'm just wondering, why are these figures loose? Returns? Display models?

I thought (I could be wrong) that the boxes were ruined from that flood a few years back. Either that or the boxes were damaged from the shipments.

I always thought it was a way to lower shipping costs. It's cheaper to ship a loose figure as opposed to a figure in package. So I see the loose figures as Ringside trying to entice you more to buy from them.

Honestly I just assumed they were figures that had damaged cards.

So I see the loose figures as Ringside trying to entice you more to buy from them. So you're saying that they open figures in hopes that people will buy more because of lower shipping costs? Yes, this is what I have always thought. Loose figures are like a sale. Think about it for a sec. If you see a figure that you want on Ringside, there is a chance you will buy it. Now if the figure is open, costs less, and costs less to ship, then you are more likely to buy from them. PLUS maybe now that you know they sell loose figures, you'll be more likely to check out the website, and possibly buy more items from them. It's the same idea behind a store putting a sale on. If a store advertises hotdogs on sale, then you're more likely to go to that store. Once in the store you'll pick up the Hotdogs and possibly you'll spend on Buns, Ketchup, Mustard, and so on. Im sure it's the same principle at Ringside. Loose figures are a tool used to get you to visit the site, and shop more. I love the loose figures BTW.

And yes, I love the loose figs also as I've purchased a few. Cheapest available elite Booker T that came in excellent condition. And there's some great figs they have listed $10 or less. Hell of a selection
