So does anyone else see the similarity between DDP's rise to stardom with Daniel Bryan's? Both had big feuds with an establishment ( the authority and nwo) and a main player within. Both were beaten to the point of requiring medical attention and wrestling with noticeable "injuries" (Bryan has neck and arm, DDP had ribs and arms). Both were receiving massive crowd reactions. Both were underdogs. Both won the title.
Anyone agree? Or is this a stretch?

Let me know when Daniel Bryan takes on Jimmy King in a triple cage.... Then we'll talk.

I view Bryan's rise to the top similar to the rise of Stone Cold Steve Austin, on a professional and personal level.

It's a good comparison, but I see Daniel Bryan's rise to be similar to Mankind/Mick Foley. At first authority (HHH/Vince) was behind them being champions. Vince screwed Mankind, HHH screwed Bryan. They both had to fight the odds to become the champion.
