Don't know who follows wrestling on here these days but I just found out the indie show I've got tickets for in my city has just added Chris Hero to the card that already featured Chris Sabin. I also just got tickets for the penultimate day of the G1 Climax in Tokyo. Stoked as f*ck. That's pretty sweet man. How big is the indy scene in Bristol nowadays? It seems to be doing pretty well man. I went to my first show here last weekend and had a blast. I've also found a friend here who whilst has a limited nerdy knowledge on indie wrestling gets really excited about it. She went to see Dragon Gate when she was in Japan and is hooked haha.

Tickets to the G1 Climax? That's ing boss! I've always wanted to travel to Tokyo for the Wrestle Kingdom show but seeing a handful of the Super Juniors or G1 Climax shows would be on my list for sure.

I just want to go to Korakuen. I don't even care for what. DDT or BJW would be higher on my priority than NJPW, but I REALLY just want to visit Korakuen

You mean the garden in Okayama? They open it at night for a few weeks in August so I'm going to try and hit it up when we're down Osaka/Kyoto way.
Do they put on shows there? Or is there a different Korakuen?

I dig the Japanese wrestlers and that Sentai stuff that became Power Rangers, but outside of that, I feel like the one member of the English speaking world who never developed a fascination with the Japanese culture. That's not to say I have anything against it, I've just never been one way or the other about it.
I find this humorous in my adult years, considering my office is staffed with 10-15 Japanese nationals and the language is all around me on a daily basis.

So I'm going to be out of commission for a few days. As Sabbath and Bishop and the likes who I talk to on FB can attest, I finally managed to throw out my back again. Pain killers and muscle relaxants galore for the next week.
This is an "inbetween dosage" time where I'm mostly coherent. Exciting stuff.

I still live at home, and apparently was asking my mom stupid questions when she'd check in on me every few hours (I've had bad reactions to some relaxers in the past so makes sense she'd check). My best work is when I'm strapped for time and piss drunk (so during the college year, finals time). That's how I wrote the final monologue for Malakai, even if you didn't care for the character, gotta hand me that was some of my best writing.

HemingwayHere's a writing checker that is absolutely great. It checks the spelling for you, check if you're overusing adverbs, picks out over-complicated sentences, suggests replacements for over-complicated phrases, picks out the passive voice, tells you how readable your text is, and it calculates the reading time. I suggest some of you newer guys use this to improve your works.

so the other night, I realized that writing is a coping mechanism for me when things get too stressful or in this case, just way too hectic. In the past 3 weeks, I've worked around 150 hours. This week, I've already put in 28 hours. It's MONDAY. Tomorrow, the real life Percy and his fiance are coming in to town to spend a day and a half. Friday I leave for Kentucky for King of the Death Matches. While down there, I'm going to the Muhammad Ali Museum. Sunday, I have the Days of the Dead horror convention. Coordinating all of this within one week almost sent me into a panic attack on Sunday night, but instead I just starting writing. The dates may not exactly line up but it's work/shoot/work written as Schneider. I'm posting it here because as much as I hate to admit it, my days of active roleplaying are done. But you may get glimpses into Schneider's world still from time to time if Jeremy needs to unwind.
