Time for the Jimmy Haslam to go ahead and pack up the Browns and move to L.A.

I'm a colts fan and I was like yeahhhh Me too, man. I grew up in Indiana and have been a lifer since I was old enough to watch TV. I had to call my dad up to tell him the news. I have not heard him make that noise since Reggie Miller scored 8 points in 9 seconds against the Knicks. He was crazy excited.

Does the Browns GM think he is running a fantasy football team? Trading away a second year running back for what will be a mid to late first round pick next year sounds like something only someone who is 0-2 in fantasy football would do.

It's definitely an odd move. The new GM is a smart guy (Mike Lombardi formerly of the NFL Network and Oakland Raiders, when they appeared in Super Bowl). I think he devalues the role of a running back, so trading him at his highest possible value, was seen as a priority. Even though you could say that they could have held out for more from another team. The Colts pick will be in the teens, so maybe they're just looking to stockpile high picks and trade them for 2nd, 3rd & 4th rounders, like Belichick does every year. It's an interesting trade. There aren't many in-season trades during the NFL season, which adds to the shock factor.

As a football fan I see the motive behind it, and can appreciate such a bold move. But, with that being said, as someone who just traded for Bradshaw last week in Fantasy... I'm far from thrilled.
