If you watch WWE's SummerSlam in 60 seconds series you'll find out that is quite accurate.

Besides the subtle attempt of someone being 'funny' with having Randy Orton beat "no one" on that page, just looking at all the matches and who was wrestling who, you can see that was a stacked SummerSlam ppv event!
I know 2002 gets talked about a lot as one of the best SummerSlam events, but I think 2004 is right up there.

That's a stacked event? I hope you were being sarcastic. That's one of the worse cards in history

I've never seen SS 04 but did Triple H seriously have a 14 minute match against Eugene?

I remember getting really confused because someone edited Wrestlemania 19 so that Matt Damon beat Tina Turner in a street fight, and in the main event Brad Pitt lost to Chuck Norris by gamma rays

I've never seen SS 04 but did Triple H seriously have a 14 minute match against Eugene? the year after KURT ANGLE had a decent-lengthed match with Eugene.

I've never seen SS 04 but did Triple H seriously have a 14 minute match against Eugene? It actually wasn't that bad of a match except for the crappy ending IMO. I wish people would stop w/ this stupid Benoit stuff. Yes what he did was an unthinkable, horrible act. He was also very mentally unstable due to years of head trauma. Some people chose to ignore him while others still watch his work. Both decisions are cool and a personal decision but don't force your views onto others. I was a Benoit fan and still enjoy watching his work. Changing Wikipedia is stupid or forcing your views onto others is childish and wrong.

That's a stacked event? I hope you were being sarcastic. That's one of the worse cards in history Compared to some of the past SummerSlam events, I would say 2004 is stacked. In 2004 you have John Cena, Matt Hardy, Booker T, Kane, Edge, Jericho, Batista, Triple H, Randy Orton, Benoit, JBL, Undertaker, Angle, Guerrero all on the same card. And during that time in WWE, those were all the main event, big name guys. And when you compare it to SummerSlam 2003, then 2004 is a stacked ppv show for talent.

I always knew he was talented. But generally I prefer people who have more of a personality, plus I always just thought he was just a poor man's Dynamite Kid (who is very possibly the best wrestler who ever lived, so that isn't a knock on Benoit's work). Funny thing is that my brother was really getting into his stuff just before he died.

that's as good as some of the WWE official stuff I've read that says at WrestleMania XX, Triple H lost the World Heavyweight Championship....
that's it. he just lost the WHC. doesn't even mention HBK being in it. some WWE publications just omit the match entirely, and have WM XX end with Taker-Kane...

It is up to your choice if you want to celebrate Benoit's career or just despise him and don't praise what he did in ring and remember him just for the acts he committed on his last days alive, but to pretend he never existed is just plain stupid.

Funny thing is that my brother was really getting into his stuff just before he died. A lot of guys have tried the "silent killer" (no pun intended) character over the years but I thought Benoit portrayed it far better than anyone else. He was able to turn his quiet personality into one of the most intense characters of all time IMO. I've talked w/ a lot of people who are on different sides of the fence regarding Benoit's character and I can see why some didn't care for him much. I loved the character and he made the fans believe he could literally tear his opponents apart. What makes the tragedy so much worse to me is that he was one of the most respected wrestlers ever. Every time his music hit from '03-07 literally every fan in the building stood and applauded him. Not many guys can say they got that. Sad how this incident alienated a ton of fans.

The sad part is it took Orton 20:10 to defeat No One. What the hell was he doing for 20 minutes?
