Hey y'all, so I'm heading to the states in November for the first time in my life. Been a huge fan of the nba since 90's. anywho, I'm basically coming over for a month and we planning on seeing up to 9 games. The whole trip was planned around seeing Kobe play... So I'm hoping beyond hope that he ready to go. What can I expect at the game? Should I bring lots of money for jerseys etc? Do they ever sell any signed jerseys? Food wise? Is it just normal concert food and beverage?
Any insight would be awesome... Ps, we have tickets for a NHL and NFL game. Best I can tell u can pretty much get tickets for most games if willing to part with the cash. Is this the same for the NBA. We arrive Friday 1st nov, so first game up for me is that night, lakers v spurs.

From my experience, arenas rarely sell autographed jerseys though I've never been to the Staples Center. I'd plan on bringing at least $100 for food and souvenirs.
Good luck seeing him play... word is he might be ready for opening day but the general prognosis for injuries of his kind would put it at closer to December or January at the earliest.

Food can be expensive. I'm a huge kobe fan. I'm from ny but for my bday a few yrs back my bro got me courtside tix to a gm. Was an amazing experience. Staples is gorgeous. They have their own team stores where u can get tons of gear.

as they posted above, if you're going to the staples center in la, they do have a store for you to buy gear... they also have a silent auction the past couple games i've been to... they had autographed jerseys, balls, plaques, etc for you to make an offer... food is okay.. but if you want good food, there's LA live across the street... (steakhouse, sushi, etc) hope this helps and enjoy your trip!

thanks for feedback guys. I like the idea of the silent auctions. Going to 2 games, so I figure I check it all out one night and then if I like something I can go hard at it the next.
