I think when they first put them together that there wasn't enough response for them to release them.

I think when they first put them together that there wasn't enough response for them to release them. When they first showed them was a year ago. The fact that they're still showing them a year later gives me hope that they might release them. I think it would be cool to pack them with a basic and make them a store exclusive. I'd pay a couple extra bucks if one of those were included with a basic. In fact, I'd buy a frappe reprint of a figure I otherwise had no interest in if it came with one of those.

Again, they brought Hurricane and Mike Knox figures as well, and I don't think they're releasing them again anytime soon.

I noticed the same and like you, this gave me renewed faith that Mattel would be releasing these eventually. Notice we did not see Legend plushes, the Orton statue or the Beth Phoenix doll/statue again.
I think those little guys have a lot of potential and would be a lot more fun than Rumblers. You have so many possibilities with them that you could release the same wrestler numerous times. Imagine, you could release an Undertaker, then an Undertaker with demonic features (devil head, devil tail, claws)!

Nah. They're just sdcc specials. We saw them last year as well. I dig the Rock with brahma bull head, and legends would be great. Id say they should release these in little packages for like 1.99 and we get a random figure each time.

Everything else shown at sdcc were either figures that have already been released or are going to be released. The two figures you mentioned along with guys like MVP and John Morrison which were also shown fall under the category of figures they have already released. Also you've got to look at it in context. That was a display featuring, in alphabetical order, all the various superstars they've produced in basic form whether or not they're currently on the active roster. Since the muscle figures have not already been released, it stands to reason that they fall into the category of figures that are going to be released. I don't get why you'd even compare the two.

They have shown this I think at the last two comic cons maybe they are just an iconic display piece. Wish they rehashed the ultimate muscle figures :\ wish I didnt get rid of them....
