I can remember before it became an official thread that we could freely request and post replys to pic requests. Members were much more likely to see and fulfill requests at that time. I felt members enjoyed helping out others as it was a breath of fresh air compared to the bickering back n' forth that you sometimes see on forums.

I don't see a problem with it. And I would always try and post pics if I could. But lately the requests are swapping out parts which I'm not going to do unless I had already purchased a second of the figure in question for parts swaps. Or they are asking for comparison pics of figures that RSC just got in that day. And for the last couple months if I'm not taking pics of figures I purchased I use my phone to visit the sites and not my computer so I can't post pics as my phone won't copy the full link for some reason.

It's a bit of a catch 22. If the Pic Request thread goes away, the main board will be flooded with pic request threads, and push all the other threads back. I think a better solution would be to un-sticky it, that way it would be bumped when a user posts, and it will be noticed more than is it up top.
