If you play with your wrestling figures, open and enjoy them as the Mattel ones are the best WWE figures I've ever seen and would have killed for the level of quality when I played with them as a child. However, if you're an older collector who doesn't bother playing with the figures anymore, definitely keep them MOC. In my personal opinion, figures look better and last longer when kept in their original packaging. There's nothing uglier than a shelf crammed with far too many figures that get covered in dust so easily. I have a small loose collection and a large MOC collection. The boxed figures look vastly better than the 2 shelves I have with loose figures on. Aside from looks, value is another reason to keep them boxed. A MOC figure will always be more valuable than it's loose version. The day when you decide collecting is over for you OR when you pass on your collection to a loved one, you'll be passing something worthwhile to them/make a decent amount of money from it. Well said. Don't let us older collectors pressure you into keeping them MOC, especially if you play/pose with them. If you are even asking the question, then you probably should open them.

I open and display them. Toss the box.

NO pressure. And you right. If I question it...i should open it. But again I come from a place where you NEVER opened the box!!! Just seems sort of weird to be even thinking about!!
