Just from a discussion with Rybackv1 in another thread, got me thinking of a different angle to the other SDCC threads: How did Mattel's SDCC showing differ from what you expected? Was there anything you were super-sure about but got completely wrong?
I was definitely surprised by the WM29 Punk and Bryan having new heads. I wasn't expecting that. I thought Punk would have the basic 29 head even though it'd be inaccurate, and I didn't even think there'd be an elite Bryan. I was sure that they'd include someone else instead of him.

Mine were admittedly horrid. I think I said we won't see any of E25 besides Bruno LOL. But as I said my predictions were so low that I was able to be ridiculously amped up when I saw all the good stuff that we saw! I'm still blown away by how good JBL and Macho are!! And the fact that Rollins comes with a tall ladder AND for the first time ever a breakaway table, just blows my mind!

I was right on the RSC exclusive. Only thing was I was expecting a cloth t-shirt.

Pretty much exact, except for lineup announcements post-the ones we already know about. Didn't call a second t-shirt series or the lineups for the build a figures to be so solid. Very impressed by Mattel!
