In what way/order do you display your figures?

Hey Everyone,

As you can see below, that is how my collection looks currently.

As you can see I am lucky enough to have 6 shelf type things that I can display my figures on.

The reason I am asking your help is I dont know how to display them or indeed how to divide them up, hence why they are in a big mess.

Should i do them shelf by shelf by:

brand? by series? by style? by year? best at front? random? name? or other ideas?

So yeah, I am really wanting to hear your suggestions as I really could use them.

that's how I have mine:

80's shelf

90's WWF /Attitude Era shelf

90's WCW shelf

Ruthless Aggression Era shelf

Modern Roster shelf

Hasbro-inspired display

King of the Ring display

I have organized them: Legends, Defining Moments, Entrance Greats, Elite, Basic, Tag Teams.
I also have a shelf for my favorite Superstars (CM Punk, Triple H, Undertaker)

Start by deciding what figures would look good together. For example tag teams or great rivals. Then just fill in around them.

Ultimately, set it however you like best.
I cant tell exactly what all you have.
A few more suggestions;
if you have mostly modern era guys then you could split them up by having a tag team, divas shelf.
If you collect a lot of a particular guy a shelf for your favorite wrestlers or even just have a shelf of the figures you like best.
If you play with your figures a lot, perhaps put the figures you grab the most together so you dont knock them all down when grabbing one.

Most suggest and I agree that grouping them into some kind of eras looks best. The 80s/early 90s guys had a lot more colorful/cartoony attires that make them stand out when displayed together. Similarly attitude era guys have a certain feel to them when grouped together.

You got a ton of figures so good luck. There is no 'wrong' way.

I split mine into basics / elites...then break it down into some what of the same period of time they belong from.

Top shelf:
Evolution of Kane(Still a lot of holes)

2nd shelf:
Current Male Roster & Champions

3rd shelf:
Diva's(Current & past)

4th shelf:
Non current roster(Legends/Flashbacks/Retired/Released)

5th shelf:
Non Wrestling Figures(Anime/Comic/TV/Movie/Cartoon)

I would separate them by Jakks and Mattel then by series or character. Put all the Ortons together for example.

I have mine displayed as a timeline starting with the figure in the oldest attire (in my case: E12 Kane) and ending with the newest attire of a figure (E19 Bryan)

Shelf 1: Early-Mid Attitude
Shelf 2: Mid Attitude
Shelf 3: Late Attitude-Ruthless Aggression
Shelf 4: Current and everything else that doesnt fit crammed in (more Attitude and 80s).
Shelf 5: I am in desperate need of haha
