I placed my pre-order with Wrestlingworld about 2 weeks ago for a mid-July shipping. Well I know they've only been in stock in Ringside for less than 7 days, and mine have already arrived in England! I only wanted two out of the set, and here are the best two! Crimson's tats are out of this world with detail! He looks so good in person, the photos on Ringside are far downgrading the figure. Tessmacher is great, decals for laces on the boots again, but great detail nonetheless. No mole on her face is good thing imo, or for some a bad thing for detail :x Now unfortunately these are for my Birthday coming in August, so no loose photos! I'm sure others will share theirs. Thanks for looking, and sorry I can't take any more photos, I'm not meant to see them

Brooke looks incredible, wasn't sold on the prototype but seeing it there it really is awesome. I don't know much about crimson, but I agree that the tattoos look great. Jakks did a good job on them.

I had to cancel my pre-order because some stuff came up, but I definitely want to get them eventually. At the moment, no retail chain has gotten DI9, so I'm worried if DI10 will ever show up. I guess Ringside's shipping isn't too bad...

Whats up with this new rubber for the heads? Is it softer? it looks more transparent and flat than previous figures, this set and the new hebner exclusive have this new texture I've noticed...

I have been seeing it since Deluxe Impact series 7 and the K-mart Exclusive UFC series 1. I personally like it better. It is very minorly translucent (not as bad as NECA's newest figures) but preferable to the shiny plastic of the old releases. It looks more realistic in my opinion, and I have noticed that the eyes are painted better on the newer figures.

I don't know what figures you've been buying, but all my figures have plastic heads. And how can you tell they're made from rubber just by moc pics? The plastic is a harder mix than the last few series of Jakks WWE figure, you can't dent it as easily.

Thanks, I wish my Gail kim was like this. :/ Whats up with this new rubber for the heads? I can just look at it and tell by the way the light reflects off of it and tell ts a different plastic. This stuff looks more like those old Flex tech unlimited figures than the usual soft plastic they use for arms/hands/legs/heads. You can tell even by these light deprived images that there are 3 different types of plastic on these figures, the head plastic is not the same as the arms/legs, and the body is different than that as usual.

Well I'm a bit skeptical of that. The mix has probably been different than the days of early DI or even DA, but still hard enough plastic to take a knock and withstand scratches. I remember back in 2008 when the RA figures were victims of what you've described. Really soft plastic substitute. Compare that to early RA which were really durable figures.

I only assumed it was a softer rubber because of the way light slightly passes through it, it makes it look like the softer more porous softer rubber closer to the consistency of latex than the plastic I'm used to.

It's a good figure, I just 1)hate they are bigger than the Mattel figures and 2) the Knockouts really need some new body parts, especially those terrible looking boots. Other than that, the head scans are usually top notch. I hope Tara or ODB are next!
