How do you open basic figures and keep the package in good condition without the card ripping when you pull the plastic away and stuff. Like how do the people who do this: do it?

I wouldn't. I'd be too nervious of getting caught. I use to steal candy and stuff from the liquer store by my house when I was like 11 and now I feel suspicious just going in there, even though I never got caught..

When I buy basics, which is rare anymore, I use a swiss army knife(or other thin bladed knife) to open them. Start below the figures feet. You can often find a very thin slit between the bubble & the card. Slide the blade in & begin working around the bubble, gently prying it up. Keep your finger on the card so it doesn't pull up anymore of the picture than absolutely necessary. Be careful not to cut yourself. I don't need your blood on my conscience, LOL.
