That happened to me last week when Eve was on their site. Ordered 2 and got a back order email later in the day, next day a canceled order email.

Unfortunately, it's a problem that will occur from time to time, and can never be completely stopped. It's just the nature of computer retail. There's no way the website can completely reflect what's in stock. Yeah, it always sucks when it happens, but it's not like they were negligent or cruel. If they are going to take money out of my account, like they did, then they should have the items in stock. If they don't have them in stock, don't charge me until they do have them. And if they are going to flat out cancel my order then there was no reason for them to take out the money in the first place. They obviously have a way of telling because of the emails they send saying items are not in stock. You're telling me a multi-billion dollar company can't figure out how to let people know items they want aren't in stock?

Still worried lol...it says the money is still pending and I order 2 Tensai on Friday and I try tracking it and the tracking number doesn't work..so I am worried

Still worried lol...it says the money is still pending and I order 2 Tensai on Friday and I try tracking it and the tracking number doesn't work..so I am worried I'm 99.9% sure you're in the clear. When they provide tracking it wont update untill its been picked up and they scan it. Your Package is ready to go. Like I said before, I got the first email saying Tensai got removed from my order, then within seconds I got another email saying the rest of my order has shipped (Elite Jericho & Elite Punk).

While it sucks its the nature of the beast, I used to work in our companies warehouse and sometimes we'd get tickets for items that our system showed we had in stock but when you got to the location they're wasn't any there.

That sucks. I know Mattycollector is famous for this but didn't know about Mattelshop. Mattelshop is infamous for doing this. They put stuff in stock on their site and it sells out in a matter of mins so they don't take it off the site and ppl order and they let ya guess for weeks thinkin your order is processed successfully only to find out later that they canceled it on ya and lied the whole time. They are also notorious for not returning money to your card right away. I've had an order cancel on me twice where the item was said to be in stock, only to turn around 3 weeks later and tell me its been canceled, then it takes literally 28 days for my money to get put back on my debit card too. They call it a "Pre Auth" and try justifying themselves in that manner, but they and Toys R Us are like the only 2 websites that do this "Pre Auth" thing. So beware of Mattelshop! Unless you can afford to risk having your money tangled up for a month at a time if something isn't in stock, it's really a pain in the butt.

I ordered E20 Jericho and it's now on backorder. I'm assuming they can, and probably will, cancel my order at any time.

Between stuff for myself and my daughter I've only order from there maybe 20 times over the last 5 or 6 years and never had that happen.

After the last email failed to deliver, I sent them another one. Just now I got an email saying that email couldn't be delivered.

I ordered a Y2J and Tensai Friday evening and got the email a couple of hours later saying they were back ordered. I'm just going to assume I'll never see them.

I order from them at least once a month.
For the most recent situation that everyone is crying about, I ordered the night Sandow went up, and then again the next night when E20 and Tensai were available. Both of my orders were confirmed and shipped on Friday.
You're blaming the site for something that isn't their fault. Someone posts on here saying so and so is on the site, so a dozen or so people jump to the site and order a handful of each. And that's not including the people that found it before it was posted here. Chances are there isn't someone dedicated to sit there and monitor when an item goes out of stock so they can remove it. It's likely an automated thing once all the orders are processed. If 25 orders go through all at the same time, OF COURSE some of those aren't going to be able to be filled.
Honestly, those of you that are complaining are upset because you didn't get the figures. And that's fine, I'd likely be upset about not getting them as well. However, it isn't Mattelshop's fault that you didn't get them. The item went out of stock, end of story.

When they send me a update of an order stating my items have been found in stock (warehouse), later send me another email stating my order canceled & shipped at the same time? Hypothetically lets say I only wanted Tensai on my order, or I only added Tensai to get free shipping. I get no chance to cancel my order If its just a Heath Slader plus I pay the shipping of 7.00 + (this is not my case just an example) due to both emails being sent within seconds of each other. MattelShop is a joke & invalid. "End of Story".
