Has anyone been able to price match Target's basic sale price at TRU? If so, how did you do it? My TRU wouldn't do it, saying that I needed the actual Target circular. I had the price from Target's website & a picture of the Target sale price tag on my phone.
Has anyone been successful?
Thanks, in advance, for your help in this matter!

You need the actual ad because they have to take it from you and keep it with their paperwork

TRU needs to get with the times and quit requiring a concrete, paper copy of a price or ad. Its 2013.

I thought you could only price match at Walmart! Thanks for the tip. I thought that too, until I recently watched the cashier's screen at TRU while doing a price adjustment. They had a list of stores they can price match ranging from Walmart to Target and a few others. When I asked "Oh you guys price match for those stores ?" He looked at me in disbelief. Lol

True but a lot of people on here were showing the cell pic of the Kmart tag. And they will only price match if the competitor's ad shows a price. Not a BOGO deal.

Never mind ads for figures on sale, just normal prices would be nice.
I don't why my TRU would charge such high prices on some items when Walmart, Target, and Kmart are less than 5 minutes away. I saw that my TRU raised the price on those Iron Man Marvel Legends to $17.99. All the other stores sell them for $14.99. What are they smoking?
At least I got my Antonio Cesaro today for $7.99 via TRU rewards.

I tried to get elites from TRU when K-Mart had their elite sale, but it wasn't on their site or ad... I was S.O.L.

Thanks to all who replied. Lots of helpful info! I didn't know about the kmart sale. Unfortunately, the sale was not in my kmart's ad so I couldn't price match it at TRU. I'm probably going to try a return & re-buy (aka price adjustment) using the 30% off WWE coupon
Again, thanks to all! Happy hunting!
