Hello All, I am a frequent visitor to these boards but a first time poster. I've admired the work of many of you around here and I gotta say, many of you inspired me to take a shot at customizing. Thus, I present to you guys my first ever attempt at a custom... Nikki Bella! Now, I worked on this custom for quite some time. I actually painted it twice as I obviously have no idea about the do's and dont's of customizer so a lot of what I did was hit or miss. I decided to customize a Bella twin figure because I have an extra pair lying around and there were no bites in my classifieds thread for them so I figure I'd try something new. My original plan was to customize both Bellas and display them but I found the customizing experience and result not so satisfying. As it stands and is pictured above, I gave up on this custom about a week or two ago and it remains unfinished. This is the reference pic I used for the outfit: Some minor details are missing as you can see and I also took a couple of liberties with others. I'm very hesitant to handle it because I feel as though the paint rubs off if I do. The 'feel' just throws me off a bit. I hope you enjoy and appreciate any comments and tips/advice.

As someone that started doing Hasbro customs about a year ago, i've got to say i wish my first efforts were that good. Like anything the more you do the better you'll get, and the more little tips & tricks you learn.
Good stuff!

This is pretty good for your first time indeed Melomano, you might want to finalize the leg details but everything else seems to be in order, nice job! Hope to see more in the near future.

Hey everyone! Thanks a lot for the feedback. I'm glad you guys liked it. To be honest with you guys, when I gave up working on this, I just left the headless and armless body lying around my desk. It stayed that way until the day I posted this thread and had to assemble it for the pics. I guess once assembled it did come together rather nicely. Soooooo I went ahead and added the missing details.
Does anybody know the skin color Mattel uses or something similar to it?
