I saw miss Elizabeth at my target down the road and decided to pass it up, because I had no money. But my brother did and offered to get if for me. I don't really have any interest in her, but I see how rare she seems on here and was wondering if I made a bad/wrong choice

If you really didn't want it, you left it for someone who will appreciate it more.

Dude, I don't advise scalping of figures or buying figs you don't want just to resell them. That being said, you may not see her again. I want her & haven't seen her. Kinda hoping I don't now that I don't have the $ to get her.

Yes,you should have sold it on ebay for more. Seriously? A couple of days ago a scalper got an 8 page a** ripping on here & I know you saw it because you posted as well, though not as part of the lynch mob. Why would you suggest that somebody do that when they did the right thing by leaving it for some kid or adult who actually wants it?

In his defense buying 1 figure and selling it on ebay is completely different to snatching up 8 newly released and extremely hard to find figures with the intent of selling them.

These figures are so expensive to buy that you really should just buy the ones you want. If you start speculating on figures and buying multiples or whatever you might make a buck or two on some but probably not on most I doubt. Ive noticed the last few sets have been more widely available than previous series as well.

Elite are 20.99 at target. After fees and shipping, it's not worth reselling.

Someone finds 8 Sandows and buys them to put on ebay. Someone finds Liz and does the same. What's the case breakdown of each figure? I'd have to argue that this is identical. To be fair, I couldn't care less if something is purchased with the intent to resell for profit. The USA is a free country. You're actually allowed to buy rare and popular items and turn them. It's like flipping a house, just more work for more money. This debate comes along every 90 days or so. Get it out of your systems so we can all go back to complaining about something Mattel made, please.

To answer your question if you didn't wamt it then you made the right choice leaving it. And she's not that hard to find. I passed on two over the last two days at a couple Targets. (and this is in the heart of T0y W!z's stomping grounds. One at the Spring Valley Target on Thursday and one at the Palisades Center Target yesterday. I already have two from TRU and Target so I didn't need another.
