Just curious if anyone has privately owned stores in your area that sell figures at crazy prices or good prices for that matter. There's a cart at my local mall that SCALPS figures. I happened to notice they had a few basic rybacks so I asked how much it was expecting the guy to say $25-30 bucks(I understand they need to make a profit) so the guy say $80!!! I sarcastically laughed and said $80 he then claimed he sold 6 at that price with a nasty attitude at that.

When he said $80 and claimed to have sold 6 at that price I would have asked if he spit on first or just stuck it in dry lol

I personally wait for stuff to hit retail. I'd pay $5-$10 over retail if its something I can absolutely not find

And once or twice a year he dumps all has pegwarmers from the shipments he gets from Mattel and Hasbro (ML's) at both the Spring Valley and Nyack NY Targets. They really haven't dumped at TRU since they changed their retun policy.

Theres a guy who has a figure stand at the local flea market here in Buffalo that sells mostly wrestling figures. His prices are higher than retail, but as far as scalper prices go they are pretty reasonable.

Most of the sports collectibles stores I come across are still selling random BCA figures at jacked up prices - like Slammers series 1 for $20+ each.
Slightly off-topic, but the most ridiculous flea market prices I've ever seen were when a collectibles booth was selling a few random NES games like Super Mario Bros. 3 for $40-$50 each.

Only thing I have is a guy who has a booth at a flea market about an hour away. He's a real nice guy and his prices aren't too bad. Some are ridic, but he'll work with you. That's where I snagged E12 Kane for $35.
There's a couple comic/collectible shops around town but they don't have many wrestling figs. One guy will have some loose from time to time, but that's only if he buys someone's collection.

There's a couple of a-holes in my area that pillage all the stores for everything. I walked into one of their shops the other day, and he had 7 Eves. I told him I would never pay his pirate prices, and he offered to sell me an Eve with a creased card for $16. Do I want an Eve figure? Yes, very much so. Do I want to fund this guy's obvious sweatpants addiction? Not at all.

Yeah, in the small town (population 2000, give or take) there is a flea market the tries to sell Jakks figures (in box) for $20 too. I'm grew up as a friend to the owner's daughter, but I was shocked. So, I told him, it's like someone looked up the highest prices on eBay and tagged. He said, "Well, isn't any valuable going to be high?" What he didn't know is that I went to the same town auction that the seller (it's a flea market, after all) went to and knew that she paid $70 for a lot of 20 or more, TTL wrestlers and just about all of them were Austin figures. I told him that's too much, but go figure... Before opening a flea market, he was a car salesman!

I have on many occasions found hard to find figures and if I don't want/ need them I leave them I never buy them for the sake of selling. I just saw an elite lawler the other day and last week a basic eve. I have the king and don't want the eve so I left them for someone who might be looking for them hopefully not a scalper
