I hadn't bought a WWE figure for the better part of a year, but Mattel lured me back in with this Teddy Long Build-A-Figure Series! Dolph Ziggler is a favorite of mine in the current (weak) WWE, so I figured I'd start the reviews with him. This Dolph Ziggler is a quasi-accurate representation of Dolph as he appeared in No Way Out 2012, where he wrestled Sheamus. Here's my summarized thoughts on Dolph: I really had my doubts about Mattel cutting corners and getting the design for this Dolph Ziggler's attire wrong, but they got it right. The black straps on his boots are the way they should be, and the squiggly silver lines on his tights are even right (surprisingly). However, Dolph's tights are the wrong shade of blue--they should be more aqua than sky blue. I'm not a big fan of Dolph's head scan--he looks like a doofy comic relief wrestler to me with the face Mattel gave him--not exactly right for a main eventer. The other main problem with this BOPPV Dolph Ziggler figure is the fact that he's a basic figure--his articulation is really limited and it can be very difficult to get him posed doing his moves stably. Also, if he had been an Elite, maybe Mattel would have sprung to make the designs on his tights with sparkly paint so they'd look that much better. Overall, I'm glad to have this Dolph Ziggler figure even with the limitations he has being a basic figure. Recommended. You can check out the full review of Dolph and more photos of him over on my Toy Review Blog.

very cool. I still need to get both the Teddy set and John Laurainitis sets. I like to wait til everyone gets theirs and they go on sale though, cause I hate the idea of spending $23-$75 per figure just for a repaint so i can get the build a figure. Mattel really needs to start putting some "First time in the liners" in the sets.

Nice review.
I dig the scan. Lol it's not terrifying like E19.

The Dolph scan is the same as his Basic Series 10 figure. I just noticed that.

I am a big fan of this DZ. I might put my E19 attire on this one.

Love the Zig and ADR from this set. I've had both for a little while now and even though they're repaints, the attires are just awesome. IMO, the best basic figures of both ADR and Zig Zag.

My favorite color scheme for Ziggler yet! I just got him in the mail the other day (waiting isn't always a strong suit especially since I'm not really interested in anyone else in the set) to round out my complete Dolph Ziggler collection.
Good review, by the way, the more detail the better is how I feel. Some reviews online consist of "This one's awesome" or "This one's not".
