Hold it under a light in a dark room. Turn off the light.

Hold it under a light in a dark room. Turn off the light. This and the material is glow paint I think.

"Turn off the lights and I'll glow"

Do you have to shine a light on it first to make it glow?

Has anyone tried customising it and painting with red/blue glow paint? Do you have to shine a light on it first to make it glow? Yeah. Or put it in the sun etc.

You have to hold it up to a light..or shine a flashlight on it for a minute or so..then take it to the darkest room in your house and enjoy the awesomeness.

yeah it definitely requires a lot of light first, and then extreme dark. probably because the glow "spots" are so small

Well it has to be very dark to show realism , the stage goes black when Jericho does it in WWE

I have an LED flashlight that I shine on it for about a minute when I want it to light up quickly. And of course it must be done in complete darkness, as others have said.

I just got mine to light up for the first time... And noticed two of the little bubbles aren't there or have worn/busted off. I'll just try and paint the nubs that are left.

Take a black light and hold the jacket under that for a while then turn off the lights and it will glow the best. If you don't have a black light, you can use regular lighting or sunlight all the same. It won't work as good or fast, but it does work still.
