Yo guys, I'm just wondering. Is there a difference between the Bret Hart headsculpts released? The only thing I see is the slight difference w/ the hair.

The BOPPV Summerslam 2010 Bret Hart is the only different one. The other scan looking different because of the hair comes down to the hairpiece being separate. It could potentially vary on the same figure, I've seen it many a time on several of the figures with glued on hair.

They all look the same to me. I personally think the BOPPV scan looks accurate to the time that the figure is based on and it also looks waaaay older than B14, Pink and Black attack and DM Bret Hart... Just my opinion though...

Well it is way older. The boPPV head was based on a year or two ago. The other scan was based on 15 years ago. But to answer the original question the DM/RSC/B14 all use the same head scan. But the RSC figure's hair isn't as dark as the other two. The BoPPV is a whole different scan. And yes there was a prototype pic of a different scan floating around.

I tried several different keyword searches on Google and it didn't come up. I'd like to see it too, unless it was really awesome, in which case don't share it, I'll just wish we had gotten it .

I didn't save it, but there is a board member on here who I think did save the pic.

I googled "Prototype Mattel Bret Hart" and some forum was the first link, clicked that and found it. I think it looks good, probably the best one they (never) made.

According to the guy who posted the pics, it was meant to be the Rumble Heritage figure, but they used the DM figure's head instead. Also, the smaller knee pads look nice on this figure.
But yeah, if they ever get around to the Survivor Series 1996 or WM13 Bret figures, I'd love it if they went with this head.

Yes but at that RR he did wear larger knee pads closer to the ones the RRH figure came with. So that figure did come with the more accurate pads for that event.
