Anyone else hate having to buy four figures just for one they want? I dont even buy the four i try and search eBay for them already made up but the prices are too expensive for one figure. I hate these BAF series so much and just wish mattel would release the figures on their own. Im sure they would sell as exclusives rather than retail. Its just sooo frustrating because i really want them but im not buying four figures i couldnt care less about and drop that amount of money.

They do it to make more money. This, and I actually like the idea. Where else are you going to buy a Ricardo figure?

Not in terms of the price of each figure but the amount of figures they are putting out, they expect collectors to buy the elites, exclusives AND the build a figure series. I dont think its fair.

The BAF series could use more gems like WM27 HHH and less crap like WM18 Big Show or The Miz.

I also like the idea of build a figure but wish they would choose guys who don't have a lot of versions of.

I don't mind the BAF concept. I just wish they would make all 4 figs easily availible.
I can't complain as I have all 3 BAFs that came out so far, but what about those guys who had a hard time finding some of these figures like Christian.
Nothing worse than staring at half a Johnny sitting on your shelf.

There hasn't been a BAF released or announced that I wanted. But with the exception of Cena (Cole) & Miz (Ricardo) there hasn't been a figure I didn't want either.

Eh Build A Figure i end up getting guys like Cena, Miz, or Big Show that I wouldn't bother buying otherwise. Also, these are figures (the BAFs) that would never see the light of day otherwise. I would also rather just buy the figure separately but the whole point of BAF is to release figures they couldn't justify in a normal line by itself... besides they keep the same BAF stocked for months so if you're patient you'll be able to get them for Buy 2 get 1 free, Buy 1 get 1 1/2 off, etc...

I haven't bought any... Not a fan of anyone to build. I guess I wouldn't mind a Ricardo to make a Mean Gene.

I didn't mind it actually. I just wish they put better figures in to build the figure with. A new figure of someone we haven't got yet would be nice or a new scan.

The BAF series could use more gems like WM27 HHH and less crap like WM18 Big Show or The Miz. I agree. I'd have an easier time buying the figures if they were more desirable choices, like the HHH and Bret from the first set. I skipped out on the Ricardo wave since none of the figures but Ricardo himself were worth $20.

Mattel doesn't expect you to buy anything. If you dont like the character the parts come with, sell it on ebay or trade here. I personally have only seen 4 figures from the whole BAF series i wanted. I just dont get the problem here.

The BAF series could use more gems like WM27 HHH and less crap like WM18 Big Show or The Miz. I have Ricardo almost completed - but it is going to annoy the hell out of me to hve to spend £25 on Miz for his legs to finish the figure. Its just such a figure. I would probably have passed on it if it was in the regular Elite line. If the figures are appealing it is an easy spend for me (BOPPV Bret Hart, HHH in entrance gear), and I don't mind as much that they mark up the prices, even with the extra BAF they end up more expensive than regular Elites (in the UK anyway).
