Here is a quick fix-up, Biker version of Taker I threw together with a few left over JAKKS accessories, its not a "Dean" but I think it looks pretty good:To compare it to the official Mattel Biker-Taker, here is a side by side comparison shot:My fix-up fig is a Basic fig....the official one is an Elite, however you really can't tell that from this photo. I did add the sunglasses to the official version, however the glasses didn't looks so good on my fix-up. Personally, I still like the official version better (it should have come with sunglasses tho), but again, my fix-up isn't so bad........or is it? Please rate it or post what you think.and
I completed a small collection of sorts: the Build a Bat Signal from Mattel. Back in the summer, I really wanted the Bat Signal, however I didn't want to buy all of those figures, especially at $17.99 at pop when the figures really didn't look that great at all IMO.I waited til these figs went on clearance. I actually only bought 2 figures to get parts: Batman and Ra's Al Ghul.....I got Batman from WalMart for $8 and Ra's from Best Buy for $8.99. I got all of the remaining pieces locally for less than $25 total. The Bat Signal does work and is much bigger than I realized.
I have small Batman collection....nothing really great, however this is a great piece especially for no more than I spent on it.
-Looking forward to picking up Elite 19 tomorrow.
-Peace out, -Wagdaddy

I actually like yours better. You did an awesome job, love the clothes, all you need now is his chopper, lol. I also got the bat signal. Unfortunately these figure never went on sale for me and I had to pay full price, none the less it looks pretty cool.

I completed the bat signal too but I paid retail for all the figures. Which is fine considering I only saw Alfred once in my area. Only batman is left on clearance at my WM's.

Glad you finished it as I haven't been able to find the extra parts I had...I think I might have given them to Joker in one of the packages I sent him.

I'm not a huge fan of soft goods, especially pants since they look very big at this scale (I'm looking at you DM Triple H). But I don't mind the pleather jacket if that's what he's got on like British Bulldog's jacket. I'm not sure if it's perspective but the basic Taker seems so much taller than the elite. I think overall it's a good attempt at this fix-up using extra parts. I'm very familiar with using extra parts to create something from nothing

I prefer your fixup. The official one is too bland. But i would want either the vest or pants to be denim. What head is that?

the head and shirt are Jakks products, the shirt is rubber and has the "Loved By Few, Hated By Many, Respected By All" logo....there is also a logo on the back...should have posted a shot of that. The pants are EG Jericho pants, which is why they are a little too short. Again, its not a first class fig-but definitely better together than loose parts in a box in my closet.

I never could find all of the Batman figures at retail All I ever saw was Batman and Bane and Catwoman once or twice I can't say I never saw any of these figures. I did at least see each one once, but thought nothing big of it at the time. I remember the first MM figures being hard to come by (especially the Joker) but then flash foward a year later and they were all available at places like Ollies and Big lots. For some reason my Wally stopped stocking these back in September which makes no sense of any kind. They still have a peg up for them but no figures. Nice Fix-UP BTW. I have E18 Taker and I am happy with how it looks, but your fix up would be a good recipe if Mattel never made the E18 Taker.
