Pretty sure I covered that part. That is when I enjoyed them both the most. Sorry man, I'm not trying to be a jerk. It's just that...the whole mystique between having and Undertaker vs. Sting match is because of their dark characters. Especially when Sting was crow version. I'm not saying surfer Sting vs. Undertaker would be bad or anything, I just certainly don't see it having NEARLY the same feel or interest. That's all.
To each their own though man! It's all good. I agree 100% gimmick wise Crow Sting vs Ministry Taker would be the way to go. I was just trying to go with when I was personally more entertained by each of them. I loved Taker during that heel run only because I thought he was great on the mic, & he showed more vulnerability/realism. And I loved when "surfer" Sting showed more hyper enthusiasm. The Crow Sting took all that away.

Ugh. Really? Surfer Sting? ABA Undertaker? Why? Obvious choice would be 1997 crow Sting vs. 1999 ministry Undertaker.

I would've loved to see Sting/HBK or Sting/Rock a lot more than Sting/Taker, but I would lie if I said I would not be interested on it.
So, with that said, I'd go with 1997 Sting vs 2004-2006 Undertaker. At that point, Sting's gimmick would've made for a build up similar to Undertaker vs Triple H at WrestleMania 27, where there wasn't much talk needed. Sting was still an awesome wrestler at that point. Undertaker was just returning with his deadman gimmick and could still have long, good matches that required a spot here and there.

On a side note...
Anybody ever wonder what kind of reaction Sting would honestly get if he finally did go to the 'E? If it was on a random Raw, I don't think it would be a huge reaction. But the night after Wrestlemania? It'd be insane I think. No entrance music, nothing. Just the lights going off and when they come back on... Sting is standing there with the a bat pointed at someone.

While it would be cool to see him nonetheless, I think if they actually played his old crow theme, the reaction would be even bigger.

It'd be too random night after Wrestlemania, and if they were seriously trying to give Sting some kind of push or momentum, it'd have to be at something big like Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, or Wrestlemania. Keep in mind Hogan returned at No Way Out in 2002 with the nWo, but Goldberg, just as big a star as Sting and Hogan in the later stages of WCW (despite what the general consensus is on his skills, he really was big, maybe not on the level of Sting or Hogan but a good upper midcard monster face), found his contract held up for a year unlike the others and then debuted the night after Wrestlemania on Raw and wasn't quite the same as he was on WCW.
