I tossed mine up on Ebay looking to cash in on the insane prices they've been going for, but things don't look good.
I started mine at around $100 and there's a MIB one set to end tonight stuck at $113 or so and another loose one stuck at $93.
Am i right to assume the demand on these are about to drop due to oversaturation?

I paid $30 for mine at Big Lots and I'm glad I don't have to pay high eBay prices. That's the market for you. One moment it's a cash cow and the next one nobody wants it anymore

That's good to hear. I couldn't find one at Big Lots and there's no way I'd pay $250 for one.

I swear I am the only guy who bought one at a regular retial store when they came out. I got mine at a TRU.
Everyone on here says they either got theirs at Big Lots or Online.
I wish I saw these at Big Lots because I would have bought at least 3. One to customize and 2 to sell. Even selling at $100 isn't bad, especially if it was bought for $30.

I never picked it up because I had the Jakks real scale rings but now I kinda wish I did have the Mattel ring but I'm not paying that ridiculous price especially when I passed it up five times at big lots for $30 !!! im so dumb!! what a waste !!!

I bought mine with the Rey box set as part of a BOGO 50% off sale at TRU. At the time I was more interested in the Reys. |

Got mine when they first came out from wweshop.com for $60. Turned around and sold it loose for $130.

Big Lots is a regular retail store Not that Big Lots isn't a regular store, but the whole story behind Mattel not making these anymore is that they didn't sell well and that retail didn't want them. The problem for most of us was that these really didn't hit retial all that much. So I was pointing out that I must be one of the very few to have actually bought this at a retial store like TRU for retial price. Which even that is a steal considering what these go for on ebay. |
