Excuse me for my ignorance but if I want to just switch heads on my Mattel figs do I need to boil & pop or can just take them right off?
Cheers!

I run mine under hot water from the sink for about a minute. That heats up the head so that it can pop off. I'm afraid to use boiling water just in case it warps the plastic or takes off the paint.

You really should boil and pop, if you try to take it right off you could snap the neck peg off in the head.

Just boil a coffee cup of water in the microwave. I cook mine for 2:25 and its bubbling buy the time its done. dunk the head in and let it sit for about 1 min. then take it out and press under the chin and it should pop right off.

That really all depends on whether you want the head & body to be re-usable. LOL. If you microwave a cup of water for 2-3 minutes, you can submerge the head & upper torso for 25-30 seconds & the head should pop right off.

Based on the title of this thread, I came in here about to tell you that you had come to the wrong place for any good advice on that.
