Well, mine being that I made it, but it was for my brother. We're both big wrestling fans, so it seemed appropriate to give him a championship belt. I don't have the money to buy a custom belt from one of the real belt makers, so I thought I would try my hand at making my own. I researched YouTube videos for inspiration, but I didn't want to use duct tape for the strap so I went a little off book and put my own spin on it. The strap is actually made from an old purse. Purple is our wedding color, so it seemed appropriate.
I'm really happy with the final product. The material moves and acts like the belts on TV and I was able to use real snaps to make it wearable.
