Just wondering this to myself you had the mail away Vince but that was US only and I bet the general public didn't do that.
Why no Vince in the main line? Even as just a basic or if they're worried put him in a battle pack.
I think there should be a Vince in Suit in the basics and a Battle Pack Vince with Punk from Raw the other week
Surely it would sell?

I'm sure it would. A flashback Vince in ring gear from his days of battling Austin would be A-MA-ZING. Considering how few superstars Mattel has available for Flashbacks, this would be an awesome figure to pad the line out. Too bad Shane isn't around anymore, he'd make an awesome figure too

I know Vince is much older, but I really think he looked better with longer hair than the short hair he's sporting now, makes him look like he has a pin-head on TV.

I don't think Mattel will ever make a basic suited figure.

Idk if I'd waste a fb spot on Vince. Maybe another build a figure in his blk ring gear.

Mattel stated on several occasions that suited figures will either be BAFs or Mail Aways only.
I really don't have a problem with this other than knowing it'll be years before we get a decent roster of rinside/manager figures.
Mattel, you better be working on Paul Heyman as we speak. Just sayin.
Probably cost issues, tooling, and whatnot is why they are only mail aways or BAFs. This is where Jakks was nicer to us, but Mattel's sure do look much better.
Maybe they can put a repaint Vince in place of John Laurinaitis since his figure got cancelled for being the next BAF.

I'm pretty sure I heard that Vince doesn't want figures of him or his family mass produced because he'd rather have the actual superstars get figures over them. I might be wrong but I think he's pretty insistent that him and his family don't get figures produced for mass retail.

I don't get the logic of not putting suited figs in the mass retail lines. They'd sell, especially at a 1 per case/.5 per case even the way they do the divas. As far as costs go it isn't as if they cant reuse parts (cole/ricardo), so new heads/torsos maybe, and they could even be basics, as I dont think all the articulation is as necessary in a suited figure. Would be a much welcome injection of variety into the line as well. There was a time when I would have doubted this being a possibility, but the fact is there is the new t-shirt series coming , which was supposed to never happen as well, so I would say nothing is for sure off the table.

I think it is to the point where Mattel might have to start bending some of their rules now that they have pretty much everyone on the actice roster made. Now that we have the T-shirt line comming out, which they said they wouldn't do and the new Heritage set which they said they were canceling, I wouldn't be suprised to see someone like Vince or even Heyman in the main line as well.

Suited figures would sell great to adult collectors, i just don't see the appeal with kids wanting to play with suited figures.
