Well the day no one could wait for finally arrived! No more threads about 'Elite 19 dreams' or 'wonder when e19 is finally going up for pre' threads! Like a kid making his first trip to Disneyland, today was that day for so many of us.
Now that you've hopefully got your figures from Elite 19 preordered, please tell your tale for all. What were you doing? What were you thinking of as you clicked away and sent RSC your dollars and got your figures? How did you pass the hours leading up to the big 5:00 EST moment when RSC Trevor 'released the hounds'?
Who did you order? What are you going to do now that its ordered? Did the pre-order holiday go as you expected or were you let down? Do you think you'll ever be this stoked for a preorder again?
For me, I was at work all day but intermittently hopped on my iPhone at lunch knowing this could be the big day! When I saw the news mid-afternoon, I knew I was going to have to be ready. With that, I set an alarm on my phone for 4:55 so I was ready to go when Trevor opened the floodgates. At around 4:45 I began to refresh my browser continually to see the funny messages from RSC Trevor, and I could not stop thinking about what a huge dork I am! I hoped my boss would not check my browser work history, but oh well.... I HAD to have my E19 Dolph....
With much anticipation I logged onto my iPhone browser at 4:59 hoping it would work. Like a modern day John Wayne I fired my thumbs as quick as I could, hoping to beat out just a few of you with sheer speed to get my pink-trunked, jacketed e19 beauty.... I then got sent out to the PayPal site! C'mon you POS I thought! I need pink e19 dirk and those guys at the WFT Mattel forum have been waitin for this moment like a pack of grey wolves who just found a nest of baby chickens! Finally.... Everything climaxed.
I got a "thank you" for my order email from RSC and receipt for my Paypal payment to RSC (of which I flagged both).... I exhaled. My life now was complete. I stepped out of the back storage room in my office and went back to my cube and my boring life, knowing that soon enough; Dolph Ziggler will be on his way to me safely.
