Hey everyone! I've been lurking for a long time but finally decided to start posting now that my collection is taking off. First off, this is a shared thing between myself and my son. He's really into the figures, and as soon as someones look changes (Kane gets his mask back, Daniel Bryan grows a crazy beard) he wants nothing to do with the old ones...(cut him some slack, he's a toddler) BUT it's cool because he has an eye for things that seem...off...
Yesterday I found the basic battle pack of Dolph vs Zack. He'd been asking for a Dolph for quite sometime, and even though he was excited to finally have Dolph, he was quick to mention that "His hair isnt THAT white!" I've noticed the same thing with figures like Christian and Jericho...
So, as a fun thing to do (because this is something that I used to do with my Hasbro and Jakks collection) is start fixing them up for him. Do you guys have any tips on the best paints to use or some examples of say, Ziegger, with his roots painted in!
I love this community! Your dedication to collection is something that really takes me back! And I have to tell you guys, I am sorta glad WWE is PG these days...otherwise I dont think I'd be able to share this awesome hobby with my little guy.
Cheers!

Boil some water in the microwave, put the head in for 30 seconds to a minute, grab head with a rag as it will be hot, pull and pop the replacement head on.
Edit: 1000th POST!

Do a wash on Ziggler's hair.
Get some darker brown acrylic paint, and water it down to where it has the consistency of watercolor paint. When you paint over the hair, it will roll off the high points on only color in the ridges. That should give it dark "roots" like his real hair.

I'd like to see any pics of a wash on Ziggler to get the roots look, too.
