I have been a Lego fan for almost all of my life, and a pro wrestling fan for just about as long. I have been collecting figs for a little over a month now and have hit almost every retail store in the area at least once a week and in every store I go to I see a full aisle dedicated to Legos. Star Wars, Avengers, Pirates, Monsters...you name it, they got it...Except WWE...
I personally would love to see this done and I think it would be a goldmine for WWE and Lego...
Your thoughts?

As much as I love LEGO, I wouldnt buy this. If you could actually build a ring or something, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I love building LEGO.

A Lego ring, announce position, entrance ramp, stage, tiny lego chairs and ladders...I personally would be all over this. I was just kind of shocked that it hasn't been done yet.

I thought you meant like mini-figures or something like that. I can imagine a LEGO-man holding a mini steel chair lol.

I was more a Lincoln Logs type of kid but I think there are lots of cool possibilities with this idea!

The mini figs would come included...2 or 3 with each pack, kinda like the way they do the Star Wars Legos. Having a Lego championship come with a Lego figurine would be sweet too.

There's a guy in the custom board that makes pretty cool WWE Lego figures. I'm not much of a Lego guy, so if they did start making them, I probably wouldn't buy them.

Lol "Legos"
I've been thinking about this for a few months myself as Lego is one of the best sellers at the toy store I work at. I think it would be cool but I don't think it would work for the simple fact that Lego base their sets of scenes and props (most of the time) and WWE doesn't really use any props or have any significant scenes for Lego to build. The Interview set would be like the cheapest set, the ring would be a mid-range set and the biggest set would be the entrance stage. After that there aren't any good, money-making items that Lego could release as sets. Can't really see people rushing out to buy sets to build crowd barriers or anything like that.
Might be good for a one off set, but overall, a bad idea.
I do think Mattel should get on board the "Blind bag" bandwagon, though. Perhaps putting the parts in for 2 Build-a-figure wrestlers. Sell them in sealed boxes (because it'd be pretty obvious to tell what bags contained action figure heads and what parts contained torsos). If not, do blind bags containing a random WWE/WCW/ECW/Retro/NXT championship belt. This way they release more belts and tap into that market sector.

I definitely wouldn't buy them, but I think they would be pretty awesome to see. Never really got into LEGOS, but always thought they were kinda cool.

I'd LOVE it. Lego and wrestling don't seem to match up well, but I think it could work if you made some action-oriented playsets like the rumblers - casket match, vehicles, backstage, entrance stage with lots of interactive parts, etc.

I think it'd be cool to have a set say with a stage and ring. The could release stage playsets for each PPV. Heck, they could do backstage areas, arenas, Elimination Chamber, or even some sort of parking lot brawl set.

An arena set would be so cool. Build the titan tron, the ramp, the ring, barricades, announce table. They could have those mini sets be the interview place, a boiler room, a locker room etc etc etc. The actual wrestlers would be normal legos. That is a seriously awesome idea and I can't believe that this hasn't been done yet!!

I think wrestling figs shine when they are more posable, Legos just are not. No sharpshooters, no good way to do belts, the details that are taken for granted now would be impossible. The only upside would be the super small scale, because you could have a whole arena in a tiny area but there arent enough different environments to justify a whole line of Legos...and you wouldn't get many different wrestlers out of that scenario either.
