Demolition for sure, Road Warriors would be up there as well.

Demolition, but I also have a weakness for the Bushwhackers!

Bushwhackers and Demolition for sure. I do like the Rockers, but not as much. I wish the Shawn figure was blonder, the way he was for most of the Rockers' run in the WWF (and the way his picture is on the card).

I hated the Bushwackers, but their figures are perfect.

It's def a toss up between The Demolitions, The Bushwhackers, and The Brainbuster's for being the best legends tag teams made. They all look so near perfect it's insane. The Rockers could have been there if Shawn was done a little more perfect, and LOD could have been there if they did the red and black color scheme and made Animal more buff, and Von Erich's are too plain and Kerry's hair should have been a lot darker.

Demolitions and Road Warriors are two outstanding sets. Now all we need is powers of pain to complete the trio

Depends what you mean by "people." In the late eighties and early nineties, the Bushwhackers were incredibly popular with kids who are now in their twenties and thirties. The only old-school teams from that 88-92 era that definitely would've been popular are LOD (who we got misguided figures of in the legends singles), Demolition (who Mattel also thought would sell as singles), Hart Foundation (and Bret was negotiating hard so wouldn't be ready) and the Rockers (who were set for series 2). There are teams from the time who were slightly less popular and teams from other eras who were more popular, but these things also have to come down to contractual realities. Maybe Luke and Butch were easier to sign than Dynamite Kid or Typhoon.

In response to pc83uk i get what your saying with bushwackers maybe being easier to sign than others but you cant tell me that most collectors wouldnt have rather seen powers of pain, the steiners, the new age outlaws, money inc or even the natural disasters in there place whether in a 2 pack or in singes??...i was a kid when the bushwackers were around and i always thought they flat out sucked! And never taken seriously,im sure the figures are ok i just think theres a boat load of teams that would come befor them if you listed the best tag teams bushwackers would hardly be mentioned, theres just to many teams better!

I would say the Bushwhackers were probably the set that turned out the best. Not my personal favorite as a fan but the set I think Mattel did the best job on.

All were very good. Here's how I'd rank them - 1. Bushwackers 2. Brainbusters (Arn should have used the E13 Cody thighs though) 3. LOD (although Hawk could have had bigger arms and Animal should have been thicker) 4. Rockers 5. Demolition 6. Von Erichs 7. Sheik/Volkoff (although Sheik should have had flesh colored thighs) 8. Piper/Ornorff/Orton (would be much higher up on the list if Piper had the EG scan & both Piper & Orton had the Funk torso

Tag Teams would have made a second series at least I would imagine
