Okay so I already know the answer to this question, but one of our board member seems to think this would be a fair trade. So lets leave it to he board brethren to decide...
MOC E7 HBK
for
Elite MOC Slater
So which party do you think is getting the better end?

The party that is getting the better end of the deal is the one that is getting the MOC HBK! Edit: As a 10 year member you should know this easily

The party that is getting the better end of the deal is the one that is getting the MOC HBK! exactly! E16 Slater is in stores right now while E7 HBK isn't even produced anymore

HBK all the way, the Slater figure has decreased in value drastically.

I'd say the HBK is getting the better end because you can no longer get that HBK figure. You'll still be able to find that heath throughout christmas season because 16 just came out and they'll be stocking like crazy, I would assume. So if you really wanted Heath, then it wouldn't be that hard to come across. He's not a real popular guy. :/ Sure that HBK figure isn't the greatest, but it is much harder to come across than Heath Slater. It's not a huge gap, but the HBK side is definitely getting the better deal.

Whoever is getting E7 HBK MOC is getting the much better end of the deal.
And btw, I see in one of the replies that we have a returning member who's been banned multiple times! Enjoy your time while it lasts!

As a 10 year member you should know this easily Like I said, I already knew the answer but I wanted to prove to this guy who claims I'm "overvaluing" the Elite 7 HBK. I told him I need at the very least two figures for my HBK. He then proceeded to prove my point further by sending me links to LOOSE HBKs on eBay that went for around $55. Long story short, he won't admit it was a lowball offer or he truly doesn't understand the concept of supply and demand.

This is actually not true at all in terms of stocking E16...Every store from now until christmas will be getting the E16 revision case, w/out slater in it, so his value will actually increase over time...still not up to E7 michaels standards, but he will be valuable in time.

I laugh sometimes when i check out the classifieds, you see these people asking for rare elite figures in their wants list, then when you check out their haves list, all you see is common basics or even worthless jakks figures. Who would be dumb enough to give up Nash for an R-truth basic. lol

Personally who ever is getting the figure they want is getting the better deal. Both figures retail price cost exactly the same. I hate when people look at secondary value and want more for a figure because its sought after. Those people are usually the same ones that will come on here and bitch/complain when someone buys figures only to resell and scalp. When I got my hands on E16 Punk, I could have easily put him on Ebay and made a killing off of him, instead I traded it to a trusty member here for a figure that wasnt as sought after but was something I needed and Im more then happy about it.

collection wise....I would want the HBK. Since I don't have it, and its hard to come across for less than 25 bux.
Figure wise......the Heath Slater is likely the better figure. Its one of my fave that I have.

Not true. First of all that Punk never had as much value as people wanted it to have, I got a pair for $22 each shipped. The e11 had a higher price tag because it had only one per case and the scan was new. The e16 Punk hit retail in bigger quantities and is 2 per case. Plus your point about retail goes out the door because the Michaels figure is no longer available in stores so basically you need to find a person who grabbed a few extras. Look what happened with these figs: e6 Batista e? Santino e? Jericho e? Chavo All were shelf warmers, eventually the demand grew and so did the price. Like the host said its about ''supply and demand''. Simple economics.
