So peeps,
As many of you may have known by now, I recently bought a MOC SDCC exclusive Undertaker from Mattwylde on classified (whom I highly recommend) and it is by far the favorite in my collection!
After a couple of days admiring it MOC, I finally decided to free him from "plastic prison" this evening! I tried doing a video unboxing and review but holding my iPhone in one hand and trying to review the figure with my other is tricky business and a rough voice with an Australian accent isn't exactly video reviewer material!
Anyways, so I finally took it out using my trusty scalpel (after chipping my fingernails trying to take off the tape).
Here he is front view. He is an elite style figure which means he has all the elite articulation we have come to love.
Back view
He came with a plain black regular stand, with no name tag, which I thought was silly. There you have a top quality, limited, exclusive figure and yet they couldn't add a cardboard name tag? Shame on you, Mattel
His face scan is devilishly good, it captured his ministry look in every way. However, some have complained about his eyes being pupil-less, but it doesn't bothere at all, if anything, I think I prefer it better! One downside is that his hair kind off slightly floats when you take off his cape and vest combo, but I guess it's not as bad as the Jakks CS3 version and I guess it had to be like that as there needs to be space between his hair and shoulders when his vest is on.
His shoulder padded-chest plate is scaled moulded from that rubbery plastic metallic colored buckles on the front. The cloth cape is tied on to the vest via the fabric's string.
On the sides of the best are latches which you can undo if you want to take off his vest.
His black pants have a grayish "smoke" design coming down the sides. His boots have a metallic "M" insignia on the front and buckled on the sides to complet that badass gothic look he had going on in the late 90s!
Pulling down his elbow pads reveal some highly detailed colored tats! The type Jakks could only dream of!
Left arm
Inner left arm of God knows what!
Right arm
After taking off the vest
After taking off his vest ( the hair was a bit annoying to move when taking it off) he had a tank top style shirt with his crossed "T" symbol "cut through".
This is how his vest-cape combo looks when taken off.
Anyways, overall I would say this is a superb, supreme and the "Creme dela Creme" of Undertaker figures! I think it's a must for every figure collector. It's also a vast improvement from the jakks versions
I am glad I bought it and have no regrets what so ever. I would also like to thank Mattwylde for helping me out as well and I recommend him to all!
My next figure that I will be reviewing should be Elite 14 Booker T! I was meant to revive him a whole ago but there seems to be some shipping trouble .
I hope you enjoyed this review as I am trying my best to keep you guys entertained.
