Joints obscured by a rubbery "skin" is probably the next major step. I wouldn't expect to see anyone not mid-card or up at that point. And the further we move away from the 70s-90s wrestlers, the harder they're going to be to sell outside the huge A-level names.

In the future figures will be lifelike and walk around and talk trash. That would be cool though they will cost alot.

No more action figure aisles. We'll download all the info then produce a figure using our 3-D printers.

in the days when i used to still play with my figs, when the titantrom figures came out with the chip in the foot i was convinced that by the time i was my age now that you'd just buy the chip in a packaging and it would be a hologram of the wrestler..... needless to say im glad my insane idea never surfaced or i wouldnt enjoy collecting as an adult now

I already thought of how to get around the sculpts costs.
Programable sculpts! Sculpts that change shape when electricity is passed through like Batmans cape in the movie. Or like them plates with the pins in where you put them over your hand and the shape of you hand appears due to the pins been pushed up. Thought about that one night when I couldn't sleep. I copyrighted it :-)
