Mattel figures & German TRU's, a bad combination!

It's definitely NOT a good combination as you can see on the picture below which I made this morning:



As you can see, the majority of the figures are those damn FlexForce figures (and there are some really old ones, I mean, Shawn Michaels??) and leftover Elite 9 figures (Orton, Kofi and MVP) that will never ever sell! For the rest, 4 BOPPV Basic Mysterio's, 2 B15 Cena's and 2 SS Cena's. Oh yeah, and let's not forget that B5 MVP

Furthermore there are some Kids Belts (look at the ones still there in the old packaging, they won't sell), some Basic RAW and Smackdown rings, and those WM27 rings with Trips and Taker. But for EUR 50,- (USD 60,-) these will also never ever sell!

As you can see now, collecting wrestling figures on mainland Europe is just a really tough thing to do, as we really need to get everything that we want online nowadays!

Belgium is worse here in belgium where they sell figures (dreamland) only place I've seen them yet. they just flexfore and basic figures and they are stuck on one line survivor series line

Someone should've told the Buying- Agent that the TRU Basic exclusive's only make sence when they sell the whole set (to get the whole Interview Stage), and not only Rey and Cena out of it. ;D

That's even more sad to me: I think it's the first time, a TRU exclusive from MATTEL hits Germany, and then they don't even know how to do it right...

The TRU near me looks the same.
You can buy 2 of 4 BOPPV Basic figures, so you can not complete the interview set.

German TRU is really bad.

Although that might be true, I really don't consider these leftover Elite 9 figures (for USD 30,- a piece) a blessing

They are really, really bad! I was actually planning to go to another TRU this week (in Köln), but after seeing this garbage in Aachen, I don't think that I'll be going anymore.

I am just wondering when will Mattel announce International solution for the International collectors that they have promised even before the SDCC. They said they will announce it at SDCC, but they did not announce it, so the waiting game goes on.

Over at mattycollector forum there are so many international collectors asking the same question, but Matty doesn't respond at all?

Their solution, most likely, is that Mattel Shop is now also offering international shipping. But their rates are actually even worse then .... (fill in the blanks yourself , you know who I mean), so I would not even call that a real solution!

It's a damn shame ... why do they even sell BOPPVs if we can only buy Rey and Cena?
If retail stores sell WWE Mattels it's mostly FlexForce :/
Mattel needs to do something about it!

Its worse in Canada... we don't even have elites in most of the stores. All we have is old Basics, flex force and Rumblers.

It's about 19£ --> very expensive for such a figure
